Residential Zone
This is the place where all of the villagers of Sunagakure reside. Tunnels and caves have been carved into the rocks over the centuries and catacombs beneath the residential streets. Children sometimes play in the underground caves, the notches on the canyon walls have become the residence of many. Some homes are scattered across the basin of the canyon as well, tiny little huts mostly made of adobe and stone. Overall life is simple here, technology lacks although electricity is present in some of the homes it is not found in all.

The Oasis of Byukai
It is said that long ago travellers used to stop off at a large city known only as Bykai, known for its large oasis with plentiful water. When the ever-present sandstorms started to form, the old trade routes were changed and this once great city fell into disrepair over the centuries and was left to the desert sand. A wanderer known only as Shin stumbled on this once great civilization as he fled Sunagakure, falling through the remains of a wooden roof long covered with sand. Since then this secret citadel has become a refuge to those seeking to hide from the authorities, but brave enough to pierce the fierce storm that rages around its borders.

The main infrastructure of the buzzing village lies among the clouds, past the diminutive ability of the naked eye and eternally watchful of unraveling events in the world below. Legend has it that the most recent, ground-level additions locate themselves on the recovered carcass of a titanic demonic beast that once rampaged through the lands only to be defeated by Raiden himself. But the tale does little to halt the progression of the commoner's daily life.
