Appearance: Kizu is a pretty child. Even now one can be sure that if she will survive, she will grown into pretty a girl. But right now it is clear that the child does not think about it. Her black hair is kept short, boyish short. The fringe is irregular and slightly hides left part of her doll-like face. Blue eyes are expressive, in shade of cloudless sky, full of life and curiosity. Eyelashes frame them, they are long and thick and make her eyes stand out in the pale face.

Body is still a body of a child, albeit a little tall one. Her legs are a little longer then they should be, but Kizu does not worry about it. A balanced diet keeps her healthy and while the girl cares little for fashion, she likes dressing nicely... Aside some from for training where the clothes can be destroyed, cut or drenched.

Personality: If she will change or not is unknown (but the change is expected, she is only a child after all), but for the time being... Happy - that is the word that sums her up the best. Kizu likes smiling, not widely or blindingly, but the small content smile. Which widens when she is speaking with her family or friends or the favourite teacher, shopkeeper or the cute animal. Like a child she finds happiness and fears in things that adults do not see.

She knows there are differences between boys and girls, intellectually at least, but does not understand them. Kizu does not understand why boys are treated differently from her, but does not really worry about it. The girl absolutely hates being alone, unless she has a book or something to read to occupy herself. And she really likes reading. If someone treats her like a child, she does not get angry, but only smiles.

History: Kizu comes from a small (six people altogether), but warm and mediocre wealthy family. Born and raised in Kiri, it was half expected that she will end up showing interest in ninja. After all her father is a shinobi (Uesawa Hibiki, Chuunin, age 27) just like her aunt (Wakai Mineyo, Chuunin, age 19). Of course her mother (Uesawa Isane, civilian, age 29) tried to keep her away from taking that career, like each mother afraid for harm to happen to her. But it was never something direct, which actually helped Kizu to see the subtle manipulation her mother used. Ironically it made her aware of the famous "underneath the underneath" and actually let her realise that she could become a ninja.

And ninja were awesome to her. She sometimes would sneak out to watch the older children at the Academy or would beg her aunt to let her go with her when her aunt would train when the older female was still a Genin. It was like magic. And which normal child did not want to do magic?

In the meantime she was taught the basic skills by her mother. How to read and write (and discovered that books were really interesting). Basic mathematics and ethics. She was taught about money, its importance, how to get it. How to do chores, how to cook and how to sew. Her mother taught her in hopes to pull her away from ninja related danger. In naught. Her grandparents (Uesawa Keko, civilian, age 56 and Uesawa Mahito, civilian, age 59) never said anything about it, but they always spoiled her.

It was few years later that she actively started to get interested into enrolling into Academy. She listened more to what her aunt and father said, and Kizu asked them questions (which sometimes they were not allowed to reply and left her feeling disappointed and only more eager to know more). Her father explained to her that a lot in that line of work can go awry (he wanted her to be aware of the dangers) and it only made her more eager to join the Academy.

She voiced it, though by then her family knew that she would sooner or later say out loud what her behaviour indicated. And then to her excitement, she was accepted and enrolled into the Academy.

You should have 5000 starting yen by now. Use that to get your first job. Go to the little Village Shop tab up in the left corner, click on 'job sets' and go buy a Notebook. Then go to the Jobs tab and click on the Student Job to gain your first job.

Post a topic in <a href="http://www.ninpocho.com/naruto/phpBB2/viewforum.php?f=293">Mist Request</a> asking for your Academy Student banner. An admin will be along shortly to get that nice l'il slip of blue under your username.

Go to <a href="http://www.ninpocho.com/naruto/phpBB2/viewforum.php?f=245">Tales of Mist</a> to create your profile (remember to sticky it!) and wait for a stat roller to give you your stats. Then you can train, head to classes, buy stuff, roleplay...we have forums and such for all of that.
