Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Noba and I quickly arrived at the commercial district, at which point I ceased maintaining my bone amalgamation jutsu. The wolf made of bones would then disappear once again, leaving the two of them to walk through the commercial districts together. Along the way I tried to point out a few of the shops, and we smelled delicious food from many of the different restaurants that littered the area. The commercial district, as always, was buzzing with families and couples from around the village. Some parents called to their kids who were running too far away and in the distance a man stood out with a tray of food which he then offered to us as we passed. I declined as I had already tried their wares regularly, but I insisted Noba grab a sample to curb his hunger for the time being.

“All the food here is delicious, though where we’re going is a bit… more.” I would explain. “I mean, that is to say, there are different districts here. Some parts are… poorer than others?” I wasn’t doing too well with words at the moment, but I hoped that I wasn’t seeming harsh. I loved all people of Suna, and I actively shopped the cheaper restaurants and shops to support my people, but I wanted to treat this guest and treat him I would. We came to a point where the establishments became a big more exclusive. The staff began to wear fancier uniforms and the people that shopped in them weren’t quite as fashionable or comfortable as Shinobi, in their expensive suits and dresses. The sun was beginning to set, and many people would be coming out to enjoy the nightlife in Suna.

“Here we are.” I would say calmly as we came across the entrance to my favorite restaurant. It wasn’t like most of the restaurants in this district which were hard to get reservations for; instead it was simply a sit down hole-in-the-wall shop. The owner was a top chef who used to own a big fancy restaurant in the golden crystal district but got tired of the same-old same-old of rich fools that didn’t appreciate his cooking. So he moved to what looked like a ramen shop, and coincidently he did have ramen on his menu, and has since catered fancy meals to those who weren’t quite as well off. Of course, with my connections I could afford any of the restaurants in this area but I had a good relationship with the owner of this one.

“Good evening, Chef.” I said, never referring to the man by his real name which I for sure knew, because he DEFINITELY had one. “I have a friend from out of town, so make sure you give him your best stuff, eh?” I would motion for Noba to to take a seat as I did the same. There for several stools set up in front of a large wooden counter covered in coasters and various condiments for the wide variety of menu items.

“Faita-chan,” he would reply in a deep rasping voice as he turned to face them. “You always bring many mouths for me to feed.” He laughed hardily and gave a light punch on my shoulder over the counter. Then he put his forearm on the counter and leaned over towards Noba. “Tell me, son. What would you like?” Behind him, hanging from the ceiling, was a large menu of food ranging from hand-cut steak to fancy ramen to macaroni-and-cheese.

((Continued from here. I feel like I kinda cheesed it up on this one, just a long post of nothingness but I hope I described it enough for you to reply properly ^_^')

Noba was following the other, often having the hands behind his head as his gaze started to go from left to right. But as he had only a single eye he had to often twist his head into a direction as well. "Hm hmm... This sounds amazing, to be honest..." he said and would stretch out a little. "Poorer..?" He questioned and thought about it for a moment himself. "well... I never really had a distinct idea about that... on our isle, you had just the people and a trading system... We never had to deal with... Money..." It was a little odd as to how he had said it, but it was the truth for a simple man as himself with the fact of his he had been raised. As the sun had been set down, it was an honest surprise towards the male as to how the nightlife was coming together. "S-so many people at night.." The male honestly sounded surprised as he placed his hands in his pockets. He swallowed for a second and was glad they were still having a move on further.

As they had been walking further the voices in his head started to distract him a little, up until a few words of the other. “Here we are.” Those were the words that the lips of the other left. "Here..?"He sounded casual and looked a bit around. It was something odd, something he really never had seen before today. "This... looks odd..." he said but already stuck his nose into the air. "but smells amazing." He noted and couldn't help but get a bit of a smile. As another voice erupted he started to twist his head into the direction. 'Hold up... did... did he say chan..?' crossed a thought through his head. "e-h...?" He tilted his head and would follow the other's example and sit down on one of the few chairs. 'is he a she... or she a he..?' He started to torture himself a bit with those thoughts and out of polite habit, he undid he headband he had on his head and placed it on his lap. Right now his ginger hairs were changing loose over his face and were quite long. He ruffled his hair a little and straighten himself as he shifted to a better sitting position. "Hmm... What I want..." He would tilt his head a bit to the side as he looked over the menu. "You know... Suprise me, give me one of your best dishes." He would honestly just play it safe this way... also because there seemed to be some sort of dialect with the written scripts here. "S-say. Fai... was it? Can I cally ou Fai? I am just going to call you Fai.." he would mutter the last bit of his speech. "Are you..." Yet he couldn't really finish what he wanted to say and would cross his arms. 'How should I even say this..? Without it getting odd... I mean... this person is handsome and cute... I wonder what is up with that...'

Noba doesn’t seem to be very comfortable, I note to myself as we pass through the crowds. Perhaps where he’s from there aren’t quite as many people, or maybe it’s just all the new sights and smells. I’m sure if I traveled to this isle he speaks of I would be just as lost. It was brave of this man to travel the world, going to places unknown, simply to learn all he could about it. Perhaps if I weren’t tied down here with, being head of the Tadashii and the Faita family, I may have wanted to do the same. Instead, I would simply try to show this man a good time while he was here. It could end up that I too relax a little, this thought makes me grin.

“Aye, there are many people here in the village, and this here is a popular place to be when the sun goes down… Especially for those that don’t have children.” I note the sudden absence of children, probably due to parents wanting to get them home and in bed for the night.

When we arrive at the shop I notice that my new friend noticed there’s something off about this restaurant. It’s true this shop isn’t like the rest, but the smell of good food wafting from behind paper curtains quickly makes that point moot and we both take a seat. While sitting down I notice something new seems to be bothering the strange newcomer. He didn’t say anything so I didn’t bother to press the issue, instead I just waited for him to decide on something to eat. All of this must have been really strange to him, so it was no surprise that he wasn’t sure what to order. He told the chef to surprise him, which I know all too well from experience is not a good idea. When given absolute creative freedom the Chef here is liable to give you something that’s more ‘fancy’ than ‘delectable’.

“Eh, chef.” I put a hand up to stop whatever it was he was writing on his notepad. The man had a sly grin on his face that melted away when I stopped him. “He was looking for something specific, some grilled steak of some kind. I’m not sure he’s ready for one of your ‘surprises’ exaclty.” I exchanged a quick laugh with the chef and then he gave me a knowing grin and started writing again.

“And for you, Sage?” He said, dropping the honorifics and referring to my status within the Tadashii instead.

“The special looks good today; is it real dustboar?” I say in an accusatory fashion.

“Sure is, you know I wouldn’t lie!” He stopped to think for a moment and then followed up with, “well, not to you- Not anymore. My son brought some in after a mission of his.” He gave me a light pat on my shoulder and wrote down my order on his pad before turning to begin our order. I turn to Noba and still he seems to be tossing over something in his head. He becomes slightly confused about my name which I don’t say anything about at first. A young lady walks into the kitchen area and when she sees me she walks over and gives Noba and I both a glass of water. I recognize her as the Chef’s daughter, who also works as a server during the busier times like during the evenings.

“Hey, there Tas-chan.” She says as she’s pouring the liquid into our cups. As with most high society restaurants in the diamond district the water in their shop is crystal clear and somehow tastes better than water usually does, even in an almost waterless wasteland like wind country.

“Greetings, Rei-chan.” I bowed my head slightly before she turns to help her father deal with other guests that have started to gather around Noba and I. Then, I realize that Noba is trying to spit out a question of some kind and I grow slightly concerned, showing it on my face before I speak up. “You may call me ‘Fai’ if you wish, my friend. I suppose I forgot to mention I go by ‘Tas’ with most of my acquaintances. Chef here has been a favorite of the Faita family for many years, in particular I myself frequent his establishment quite a bit and have since I was a child. Chef and his family are practically Faitas themselves.”

“You wish!” The chef shouts without turning his back. His tone sounds likely vulgar but from our angle we could both see a smile spread across his face.

“Now, whatever it is you have to ask me you don’t need to be shy.” I look the man in the eyes and smile for purely calming purposes. “I’m sure whatever it is won’t be quite as bad as some of the questions I’ve been asked in the past.”

"R-really..?" Were his words as he was a little bit surprised at the others words. "So... This is like what we had... a Zabava? Erm.." He quickly thought the other wouldn't know the word and started to think of a translation or some sort. "A party like.. but... this is a huge people.. mass..."

In the restaurant he had given a simple thing as he could barely read what was written down, some words were really strange to him and he soon had noticed that he had been dealing with some form of dialect... Yet he knew how the other was talking... that something about this surprise was rather off... "Suprise..?" He questioned as the other kept on talking with the chef yet he, without having ever taught manners..., leaning on the table with his elbow, cheek in his hand looking at the other. He had decided to listen for a bit while keeping an overall look over the place. Yet at the same time as he was listening, he was thinking bout who what and or wherewith the chan... Later the person in front of him was called chan again. "F-female..." He muttered his thoughts out loud and his single eye had widened up. Slowly he swallowed as the other kept talking and he barely had been listening. "Hm hmm... Gotha... Fai..." He would say and think a bit further, now this had been gotten awkward. "So... He is a she... huh... Why don't we just ask? This is odd to meet someone with those looks..." "L-Like hell I can ask that..." Thoughts running across one another as his contract joined in also, but eventually Noba had gotten a slight hue on his cheeks and an annoyed expression as he took da breather and a sniffle on the tea... Tea... He grew a bitter face with the thought looming in his head. He would certainly wait with drinking that stuff if he had drunk it at all. "I hate tea since that day..." Was the last thought before he would straighten up a bit again and look towards the other. "Alright then... There is no easy way of asking this.." He said as he bit the tip of his thumb to find the right words and he looked a bit to the side before returning the gaze back to the other. "Are you a female? For real..? Because... I thought you were a male at first." A mini pause was given before he overthought his thoughts. "N-not that there is anything wrong with that!" He laughed it off as a hand brushed the back of his head, attempting to make the mood a lot lighter around them.

After Rei’s appearance Noba muttered something but I couldn’t quite make out what it was. The area begins to fill with loud sounds as more people come to enjoy the nightlife in the commercial district. I don’t mind it myself, though it occurs to me that it could be bothering my friend and maybe that is what he has been trying to say to me. I’m not sure, but it’s become obvious that he’s fighting with himself internally, or perhaps he’s arguing with the various voices he has inside him. Then, suddenly, he straightened himself like he was about to drop some important bit of information on me. I sit up at attention as well and ready myself, then he gets started. He bites his thumb and I think that maybe he’s going to give up again, but then he continues and then as he speaks there’s a momentary lull in the volume of the restaurant and surrounding areas.

Am I what? I think to myself, but it doesn’t matter. Everyone seated around us turns their heads, including Rei and her father the Chef, and for a moment they’re all silent. I recognize some of them, in fact one or two of them are from the Tadashii, and then as if on cue most of them begin to laugh at the top of their lungs. Chef is especially pleased by the question, placing his hand on the flattop on accident which halts his laughter but only momentarily. I blush ever so slightly and then I begin to laugh as well, and the embarrassment quickly fades away. I move to give Noba a friendly slap on the back and turn to Rei who is smiling at me from the other side of the kitchen area. I hold up two fingers and she nods.

“My friend,” Chef says. “Answer the boy, we’re all waiting!” The laughing has subsided and now it’s turned more towards curious faces as some have realized that they’re not entirely sure of the answer either.

“I assure you,” I said to Noba, and then to the rest of the patrons, “I assure all of you, that I am a man.” I look Noba in the eye hoping this has satisfied him.

“Can you blame him, Faita-chan?” Chef arrives in front of us with our food and a fresh bandage around his burnt hand. “You Faita men, all of you have such boyish good looks.” I chuckl slightly and roll my eyes. I look down at my boar, still steaming from the grill, covered in sauce, and surrounded by vegetables, and then at Noba’s food which was similar in fashion but was from a more renown cattle. My hope is that even if the meat is some new form he hadn’t tried before that the taste would at least be good enough for his liking. Rei arrived seconds later with two small, porcelain cups and a porcelain bottle. I hadn’t asked for a bottle but a bottle I received.

“I haven’t laughed like that in a long time, Noba, my new friend!” I poured some of the sake into the cups and handed him one. “Here, as an extra treat we have some of the finest sake in all of Suna. Not the best mind you, but it’s still pretty grand.” Upon his acceptance, should he accept, I clink my cup gingerly with his and take the shot quickly and begin to eat my meal before taking another shot.

Noba was looking towards the other as he was supposed to answer the question that he had laid out in from of him. It slowly went silent around them and he turned his head to see why this was the case. And soon the chef was answering yet also asking the question. Noba would nod a few times and look closer towards Fai-it person now.
"Ehhh- you really are?!" He was surprised by that fact but would still nod towards the other. "Then I have to say you are indeed cute..." He tilted his head as he meant what he said and would look towards the food. A few sniffs were given above the plate. "Hoo---" He was simply blown away by the smell already. "This smells amazing already! There are even herbs that I do not know!" He was thrilled to sink his teeth into the flesh, the greens... He was just really glad it wasn't cabbage at this point. 'Are you sure about this? Leaving your guard this low?' 'Yes of course! There is nothing to worry about with him, you just have to learn to trust humans again Nala... I mean... I wasn't even the one turning you this evil...' And a bottle was placed down in front of them. "Eh---? What are these tiny things?" He muttered his thoughts out loud and got one of the porcelein cups and he studied it for a moment... This was so small... This would never hold a drink like a cappuccino coffee or a Waterglass... He questioned and soon a liquid was poured inside. "Sake..?" He questioned and looked towards the male with his single good eye, wondering what this has he first sniffed it. "Smells... odd..." He couldn't really place it what the odd smell was, most likely the alcohol inside the drink.

As the other took a shot of the stuff he did the same, of course, he wasn't used to this stuff and coughed a bit after. "PFhuuu... This is strong stuff..." He said and would finally take a bite of his meal. "Hm-!!" He sounded even more surprised after. "This honestly tastes amazing!" He couldn't really believe his eyes and even Nala had to agree on this point. "C'mon, it is getting colder! Let's chow this thing down!" He would comment and ate the whole plate empty.

"This really tasted amazing!" He said and was already down to a few shot's sakes as probably was Fai at this point. Yet he never had a single drink before and had gained a small rosy hue on his cheeks and he grinned a lot more.

I smile only slightly at Noba’s comment about my attractiveness, having no words to give though still pleased to be called cute. Though, it’s Noba’s reaction to is food that I find to be ‘cute’. As I eat my own food I watch him taking in the aroma of his. I enjoy watching people when they are happy and it’s my main goal as leader of the Tadashii to ensure that all who enter through the Bulwark are happy and protected. Of course, this gentleman and shinobi such as myself weren’t particularly in need of protection, but it was still nice to bring joy to the face of others. Then his joy seemed to turn into confusion once more as the sake bottle was placed in front of us. He examins it for a moment, and then even smells it which I would have recommended against should he have asked. I chuckle at his statement of the sake smelling odd.

“Yes,” I say as I take my shot. I exhale sharply and then chuckle once more. “It does smell odd, but it’s worth it.” Noba coughs with his shot, and I stifle my laughter having been in the same position once. When he finishes the man finally tries the meal set out before him and finds that it tastes as good as it smells. His comment on it lead into a quick devouring of the plate, faster than even a Faita man would. Of course with a meal as rare as dustboar I was taking my time to savor the taste. The whole time I eat I take shots continuously and am amazed at the stranger’s ability to keep up.

“My friend, perhaps you should slow down. I don’t imagine you’ve had much experience with acohol… Based on your reaction to the first shot.” I smile and pick the bottle up with a swirl and find it’s empty. I get Rei’s attention and get her to bring another since I’m not quite satisfied. I notice then that Noba had gathered some extra blood in his cheeks, which I recognize immediately. I chuckle slightly without cause and then take another few bites of my meal to finish it off. I lean back slightly in the backless chair and stretch my arms into the air. Rei arrives with a new bottle and I give her a wink before she walks away. I pull out some cash from a stash in my boot and place the money on the counter, which is probably a lot more than was necessary for the meal itself.

“Tell me, Noba,” I lean over, getting closer to him and placing my arm on his shoulder without putting much weight into it. Then I whisper, “you have this thing inside you. You seem like a capable man. You have some kind of experience with combat, no?”

Noba was munching down like it had been a meal in a year. But the taste was almost like that. It was amazing, the aroma of the smell, the taste the meat juices... Everything tasted amazing and soon the dish was already devoured.
“My friend, perhaps you should slow down. I don’t imagine you’ve had much experience with alcohol… Based on your reaction to the first shot.”

The male started to tilt his head towards the other, what was he saying? He was enjoying food and drinks right now! Yet he was taken a bit back when he saw another bottle coming in. "Eaa--" He started to sound rather surprised by the fact the female brought another bottle for them to drink. Yet he was already have gone and was unknown what would hit him moments later. He would lean a little bit more forward on his chair as he placed more of his weight onto the table. "Hmm--? Tell you what?" He asked and would focus more on the male with his single eye. Looking serious as he was unknowing what the other was asking. "I have Nala inside of me yes... Capable... I don't know, born and raised on a remote isle without any new or rather fancy technologies.... But combat... I battled an out of control Bjiouji indeed, not to mention the village when they went rampage, fought for my life after with the poisoned clouds... after this, I went into medicine for a long while... and I think about changing towards a more neutral approach of things... you know?" He didn't answer the question completely like the other might have wanted, even though the alcohol was clouding his mind as they were speaking. ' way to go scatterbrained... What have you been doing to us? I feel hiccupy...' Sounded Nala inside of his head and he would just get a big grin up. "C'mon Nala! It was just some of this sake thing the other was giving~!" He was talking out loud for a change as he didn't really notice that fact. "Say.. Fai... What about you then..?"

Noba is decidedly drunk at this point, I can tell from experience that perhaps he didn’t need to drink anymore. So I pour myself a another shot and plac the bottle down closer to me. I hope this way he won’t feel obligated to keep going, though the sound he made when the bottle was placed made it seem that wouldn’t be a problem. He begins to answer my question but it doesn’t seem to really answer it completely. The creature inside him, this Nala, seems to give him some sort of power. I of course am not new to this type of thing as my grandfather also had the demon god Itami sealed inside him. It appears that though he isn’t a shinobi or has any official training he’s still quite capable of defending himself. With the past he described it’s no surprise to hear that he had gone into the medicine side of things, which was another thing he had in common with my grandfather.

“I hear you loud and clear, friend.” I say before taking another shot. “There’s too much death in the world, we need—”

I was cut off by the stranger called out to his Nala. I turn lean back slightly and grin to myself as I stifle a chuckle. I decide to blame it on the alcohol and leave it at that. At the very least it sounds as if he’s enjoying himself. Then the man turns to me and returns my question. I have to take a second to respond as my story is almost the opposite of his. I was born and raised to be a master of Ninjutsu so I could lead the Tadashii into battle against the forces that threaten this village, as well as unseal the barrier to the old temple and take control of the gods’ power. Now that I’m grown and have a distinct vision of the difference between good and evil, the whole grayscale of life has left me with little desire to fight but more desire to save.

“I am a shinobi. I was raised on the arts of ninjutsu and sealing jutsu. My whole order is full of shinobi from all branches of our shinobi corps.” I take another shot, then look into the bottle and swallow the rest of it’s contents. I let out a satisfied exhale and smack the bottle on the counter. From my robe I pull out enough currency to pay for our meals and then some.

“Ah, nothing like a nice bottle of sake to get the blood rushing.” I sigh, then I return my gaze to Noba. “So, what now traveler? You’ve had your fill, so what do you wish to do? There’s always plenty to do around here and the night is still young.”

With his drunk like mind, he started to think a bit. Stop in his movement and trying to find his archive boxes in his head. In a cartoonish style, he would open them one by one in a chibi size and ended up empty-handed. "Nahhh... I don't know what a shibinomi is..." He had attempted to repeat the word after the other but had no clear idea of how or what to do. "Sealing jutsu... I know that one... Old geezer used one on me also..." He said and would raise his hand to remove a part of his baggy shirt in order to show a part of the seal on his shoulder towards the chest. "Those things hurt..." He muttered after and instantly in his mind he started to think back towards the time he was ambushed and they were after that seal. Even remembering how he was locked into a firm place. "brrr... Just the idea back to that ambush..." He muttered along and would shiver a little by that thought. Shaking his head he would focus again at the male, slowly seeing double. "But... What are branches...?" He asked further, not knowing that they also had some kind of ranking system in their village. He wanted to learn more about it... He honestly wished he would be able to learn more.
“So, what now traveler? You’ve had your fill, so what do you wish to do? There’s always plenty to do around here and the night is still young.”
It took him out of his thoughts and he looked towards the sky. "Hmm... What to do... I don't know... I never had party... or a drink... All I ever did was study, learn, practice and everything... Never had time for my own... do you have an idea of what to do? The night looks young indeed." he would simply comment and would take a few steps in a direction. "H-hua..." He would look to the ground and saw it swirl a little, snickering he would tilt his head. "Sooo... How... abouuut..." he started and would actually be stuck there for a moment. "Uhm..." He would look further down the street. "Hm..." and he really had no idea what to do or so... "Hm... I don't know actually..."

In my own opinion, it’s clear to see that Noba is completely and utterly blitz. I myself have begun to become taken by the alcohol but fortunately my large stature and experience with drinking, having started as soon as I was able to raid my great uncle’s cabinets, gives me the ability to hold myself together a bit more. My new friend tries to speak but his speech is clearly slurred, but then he surprises me when he pulls at his shirt and shows me a seal he has on his chest. A familiar style, though not exactly the same as mine I can tell it’s definitely a cursed seal. I spit out a chuckle and unzip the suit under my robe just far enough that I can peel it back to reveal my own cursed seal that covers most of my chest.

“They do indeed my friend. I cast many types of seals, and in fact I did this one myself.” From under my robe many hands that appear identical to my own float out and open their palms to reveal seals inside. “These are my ofuda, which have many purposes. One of which allows me to perform handseals with one hand if needed,” I give a handshake to one of them and then they all disappear. I realize after this display that it probably didn’t help Noba’s drunkenness to see detached hands float out of my robe so I quickly tried to get back on track and answer his new question about the shinobi branches.

Shinobi,” I stress the syllables so maybe he’ll understand it better this time, “are a village’s… Erm, warriors. They’re ninja, and they fight for the village. The branches are basically just to determine their specialty, the ANBU act as law enforcers, medical branch are, well, doctors, and then there’s the main branch which are general purpose soldiers of sorts. I’m of the main branch, and a pretty high ranking member of such, though I’m more loyal to the villagers and my own order than I am to any military regime…” I trail off slightly before I continue on to ask about what he wants to do now that we’ve finished at the restaurant. He speaks some pretty familiar lines about having lived most of his life doing nothing but studying and practicing, and it really hits home with me.

“Ahhhahaha!” I shout a hearty laugh and move in close to wrap my arm around his shoulder if he allows. “It’s okay if you don’t know, the alcohol has turn this thing to mush I see.” I tap lightly on the man’s skull. I’m liquored up as well, which would be evident to anyone that knows me well and knows I don’t usually get this close to people or act this way around anyone. I pull on him slightly and begin to walk to join a small crowd of people who are traveling through the district as well. “There’s lots to do here in the commercial district! There’s dancing and theater and drinking and… Well, maybe not drinking amiright?” I stumble on my words in the last second and begin to think I may have had a bit much as well. Which I know is impossible, as a bottle and a half of sake is not enough to get me on my ass.

“Though I’m kindav more curious about you.” I stop and get in front of him in a unaggressive manor. It’s clear I’ve gotten him a bit too liquored up for the night. “I’m thinking maybe we find you a place to stay for the night then we see what kind of knowledge you got in that skull of yours. We can do a little quid pro quo, whatcha say? You teach me a little of your moves and I teach you something maybe?”

After the other had shown what he had... Pronounced the word shinobi yet again... Things were slowly falling together for the male in front of him. 'So we are like... one and the same... sort of...' Was his line of thought and Nala simply commented on that no single human being was the same in this stuphideus world. A thing on which Noba, in his mind, would wave a hand on. "So there are so many branches in this single village... I am kind of wondering on which one I would fit... I mean... I have to tell others what I am sort of...?" He questioned himself as he would nod a few times and then slowly would look back to the other as he made a movement towards him. An arm was wrapped around him and he had to look further up, Nala and Noba both in the same line of thought. 'Giants...' It was a fact that there was a height difference between them, but he didn't mind all too much. As the other also started to walk, he walked along with him and couldn't help but chuckle about the slip up on words that he had.
"Curious about me..?" He questioned and would standstill as the other started to stand in front of him. "Hmmm- See what I have inside of me as knowledge... well then.. If you are so sure about that, why don't we do that little plan of yours?" At each S he was saying, a slight sizzle was getting there too. Clearly the alcohol had still an effect at him and he would pose with a thumb against his own chest. "Do beware! In my village, I was called a Bookman! One of the few that was strained to be one even!" He pronounced happily and grinned afterward. "Teaching you should be an easy thing, I wouldn't know why not!"

I’m a learner through and through, whether I like it or not. Like Noba I search for knowledge, except I’m limited to the village in which I live. I dare not leave the village in fear that something would happen to my people, the Tadashii. By chance an outsider has fallen into my lap who seems to have skills that I could utilize so of course I’m going to pounce on this opportunity to learn from someone new. Even if he wasn’t traditionally trained it still seemed like he had something to offer and that was all I was ever truly after. A sage is always looking to increase their knowledge base.

“That’s great!” I exclaim as the man accepts my offer. “How about I take you to my family home? I don’t usually stay there but we can just stay the night and then use my family’s training basement to do our exchange.” If accepted I place my arm back around Noba’s shoulders and proceed to guide him to the residential zone where the Faita Mansion stood. My family wasn’t too taken with me but I was still the head of the family so I could do what I wanted. I usually left the non-Tadashii family members be and the rest of us live in the temple, but since outsiders aren’t allowed in the temple this was the best option I could think of for the moment.

((I'll probably make up the new topic tomorrow so I can describe the house and what not then we can get started. It's going to take longer than a week I think but luckily it looks like we'll be having 2x tutor rewards next month as well))
