Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

A technique that allows the user to build up their chakra within the surface of the ground, condensing it to a certain point to create a dangerous trap. This chakra remains until it is set off by an unfortunate misstep, at which point it erupts violently from the ground in an explosion of stones, debris and dirt.

Prerequisites: - Explosion Affinity, C Rank

Rank 1: Condenses explosive chakra into a point in the ground. Each action performed by others in battle have a 18% chance of setting it off. The explosion deals 1350 damage, has a 12% chance of activating the 'Blast' effect and a 12% chance of suppression.
Master: Condenses explosive chakra into a point in the ground. Each action performed by others in battle have a 24% chance of setting it off. The explosion deals 1685 damage, has a 18% chance of activating the 'Blast' effect and a 18% chance of suppression.

Special Action: While the trap is active, the user may pay half the Cp cost to detonate the trap. Doing loses the normal Sneak Attack bonus, and instead the 'Chance to set off' the seal becomes a 'chance to be a sneak attack'.

Rank 1 Cost: 450 Cp
Master Cost: 560 Cp

Notes:
- This jutsu may effect anyone other than the user.
- May only have one Trap active at once, and lasts up to two rounds or until activated.
- This jutsu is a hidden action and does not show up in the mod.
- If a trap is activated normally it is treated as a sneak attack. If it is detonated, then the 'chance of setting off' becomes a chance to be a sneak attack.
- The 'Blast' effect causes this jutsu to target an additional enemy (Random if not stated), and partial hits to be treated one level higher.

A technique that condenses explosive force into a small sphere of chakra roughly the size of a marble. This is shot rapidly at a target from the user's finger, and upon contact detonates with concussive force that is enough to daze and suppress the target. Though not lethal, the technique can be charged to even knock out a target temporarily; making it a great choice for crowd control.

Rank 1: Explodes with concussive force at +1 Accuracy, that has a 24% chance of interrupting the target's current action and suppressing them further.
Master: Explodes with concussive force at +2 Accuracy, that has a 30% chance of interrupting the target's current action and suppressing them further.

Special Action: By paying +20% Cp, the user may charge this technique to bind the target by 'knocking them out' (not true KO; this is a bind). This replaces the accuracy buff of this jutsu with a -5/-4 Accuracy debuff, and lasts a full round or until dispersed. This cannot be used reflexively.

Rank 1 Cost: 500 Cp
Master Cost: 575 Cp

Notes:
- This may be used reflexively.
- If interrupted the action this is used against fails (Full Ap and Cp are still spent). If not interrupted, the attack loses -3 accuracy and is treated one rank lower.
- Suppression is checked separately, regardless of whether the attack was interrupted or not.
- When bound, the victim cannot perform handseals or move.
- This bind is broken if the victim takes damage, or the user attacks the victim. (They have a -3 Dodge penalty to the attack aimed at them though)
- If the user takes more than 10% of their Max Hp in damage during a round, this bind is dispelled.
- The target has a 15% chance of escaping (by regaining consciousness) for every 2 Ap they spend.

Master Cost: 510 Cp to initiate, 260 Cp/Rnd.

Notes:
- Lasts up to three rounds.
- Damage gains 'Explosion' buffs while this is active.
- This only applies to offensive Taijutsu. This has no effect on non-damage based jutsu, such as binds.
- The 'Blast' effect causes the effected strike to target an additional enemy (Random if not stated), and partial hits to be treated one level higher.

A technique that allows the user to rapidly expel explosive chakra around them, releasing a small explosion no more than several feet around them that doubles as a temporary shield while damaging those who come too close.

Rank 1: The user gives off a small explosion that blocks up to 1485 damage.
Master: The user gives off a small explosion that blocks up to 1855 damage.

Special Action: The user may use this technique to dispel up to Level C non-illusionary binds. This requires a Ninjutsu check between the user and the bind.

Rank 1 Cost: 450 Cp
Master Cost: 560 Cp

Notes:
- This jutsu requires no handseals and may only be used reflexively.
- This jutsu requires a full round cool down before it may be used again.
- This jutsu only protects the user against a single physical, non elemental or elemental attack from a target of choice.
- If this explosion is attacked using melee accuracy, then the attacker automatically takes damage equal to 30% of the damage done to the explosion.
