Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Their tracks lead up this way.

I know, I can see them as well.

Heheh..

At least you're quite warm now, right? Well, anyway, be careful.. They might have heard the cries of the men and are on guard.

No problem! Looks like this is a job for some clones!

Aomaki throws a few handsigns and summons two clones of himself, enough to conserve energy and to scare off the bandits if necessary.

Jumping continuously further and further up multiple walkways, he finds himself needing to go to the right to follow tracks from the previous men.

"Alright, they dispelled themselves.. They found something and the bandits were not alerted to our presences yet."

I'll continue to talk like this.. Anyway, I think there's a base up there and they have three hostages. It looks like they were caught only a few minutes ago, and they were sorting through their stuff.

I hope you know I know already.

Sometimes I feel lonely even with you.

Heh.. You've really grown. Just don't rebel on me now!

Why would I? You're my lock and key, my sword and shield, my bow and arrow, my dagger and cloak.. Or, at least, you're what I think of you, if not what you might decipher from those otherwise generally outlandish sayings.

Good.

Slowing down his pace, he goes up a small hill and hides behind a few boulders. He hides behind them and looks over them into a small encampment area in a cave. Two men look over many gold pieces, jewelry and weapons from three women. One of the men starts to look at the women lustfully..

Splat!

The man's head otherwise explodes outward with gore, blood and grey matter. He falls into his own little puddle of crimson shade.

By the time the other man realizes what has happened, he thinks he can hide behind the girls and take them as hostages and human body-shields, but Mercy had already slit open his throat with a short-sword from one of the earlier bandits.

Young warrior women seemingly from a small residency nearby, trained in the arts of combat, seem to have already been let loose by one of the women having a hidden blade of which she used to cut herself free of rope with, and then later on her sisters too were unbound by herself.

The youngest of them looked like she hadn't seen combat before, while two older, though still youthful, skilled combatants took it upon themselves to give thanks to Aomaki.

Mercy was still in the body of Aomaki.. Mercy gave her name unto the women and freed them, letting them take what was theirs from what had been scavenged from every bandit thus far overall.

"Thank you, Shinobi, for saving us from our captors.. May I ask what Village you belong to?" Said the oldest of the women as she bowed, gathering herself and then her possessions.

"..Leaf.. My, uh.. Forehead Protector was dropped into a pit.." Aomaki, now inside himself once again, said somewhat fretfully.

"So I see.. Well, you're welcome to come back to our town if you need somewhere to stay. Originally we were guarding our lord as he went to visit the political leader, and seeing as how our lord is poor, he couldn't find money to pay anyone else that was a true Kunoichi or Shinobi but instead use the services of those inexpensively trained to guard himself and his family." The eldest had spoken, as she entirely regained herself and offered to Aomaki this welcoming.

"Our lord was slain when we were on our way back, and his body was burnt. We were captured by shear numbers and we were thieved from." The eldest once again told more to Aomaki, explaining the situation more. "It was a political assassination.. Though the bandits sought more than simply uprising against landlords." She hinted at what was going to happen, and Aomaki decidedly declined their request for returning with them to their town.

"No, if you know that with these weapons you're safe from any more harm, and if you know that all of the bandits have been taken care of by myself, I'd rather it be that I continue my journey.. If you need to be escorted to your town, I can bring you there.. If there is nothing else that needs to be done, I must make my way past the snowy ways deeper into Monumentum Deo." Aomaki aggressively spoke, trying to get his intentions stated before he was dragged into anything else, such as doing odd jobs for a town he'd rather not be affiliated with.

"Then may it be so that you have luck on your journey.. I and my sisters can make our way back to our town safely on our own now that the bandits are gone." The woman agreed to release Aomaki from them, and a nod was exchanged between the both.. They headed their separate ways and Aomaki continued his journey.
