Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Junpei lifted his gloved hand to head to shade his eyes from the Sun. It was so bright out that it was blinding. People bustled through the street, some in a hurry and intent on their destination, others strolled casually taking their time. An older woman ended up bumping in Junpei and muttering about how he needed to get out of the way. The boy apologized and continued moving in pursuit of his goal; flowers for his mother, Himura.

There were a few different flower shops lining the streets. Junpei sighed, which shop was the best though? He had never bought flowers before. The kid stood outside the first of many shops, just staring at the door weighing his options. After a few moments he made his choice; he would just have to visit them all.

Junpei walked into the first shop. It smelled… amazing! A toothy grin appeared on his face. There were so many kinds of flowers, and he knew nothing about any of them except they were beautiful. Surely, his mother would love them! He didn’t have much coin in his pocket, but he was certain he could get one or two. The boy stopped at each of the different flowers and picked one up, smelling it, and returning it to its place. They were all so pretty, and this was only the first shop, he stood in silence; contemplating.

Every shop seemed the same, he had visited more than a few of them now. The exuberant youth’s smile was fading quickly. All the flowers were so beautiful, but nothing really seemed to catch his eye as the right gift. The wheels in his head were turning as he realized his initial idea wasn’t working out like he had hoped. The boy coughed, clearing his throat, before leaving the shop casually; his mind racing in contrast to his slow movements, trying to think of a new gift idea.

After strolling through town for some time, he sat on a nearby wooden bench and closed his eyes; it always seemed he thought better like this. Junpei brainstormed intently with a laser-like focus, until finally his eyes popped open and his smile returned with full force; he would make a flower for his mother out of clay. He had been looking at them all day, how hard could it be?

He pulled out the small bag of clay he had on him, pulling out a small portion of clay; squeezing it and working it with his hands to heat it up and make it more malleable. He worked slowly and patiently as he sat on the bench, completely focused on his art. Unfortunately, it wasn’t as easy in practice as it was in theory. He would mash the clay back together with frustration that his hands couldn’t produce what was in his mind.

The boy pouted for a bit, a scowl replacing his grin. Finally, he took a deep breath and sighing and started again. He was determined to produce a decent looking clay flower before returning home.

Finally! It was perfect. It seemed to have taken forever, and really it still wasn’t really quite perfect but it was probably as perfect as it was going to get. It was his first creation! A haphazardly composed clay flower. His mom would love it, and he didn’t even end up having to spend a penny! Truly a wonderfully productive day.
