Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Maybe Yuii had given Komora too much credit. Her assumption that the child could handle herself had made Yuii lax, and now she was paying for it. At least Ayumu was there, in all his bishounen cool-guy glory to save the day. Turned out having an extra pair of hands to look out for kids was a good idea; who knew?

The instructor swore under her breath and stood. Any remaining spiders had retreated to the shadows to recoup and recover from their losses. They could send a group of chuunin down to take care of the pests; they were proving themselves to be a nuisance, but why waste the time and energy when there was once pissed off jounin to do the job. "Everyone, freeze," she ordered, waiting only as long as it took the slowest student to stop in their tracks. With one set of hand seals and a burst of chakra, thousands of mirror shards appeared and rained death upon the poison spitting arachnids. No corner was safe from the deadly accurate projectiles that curved and swooped to avoid the still students as easily as they found their targets.

Silence engulfed the cave, then Hikari sneezed and a pair of students laughed nervously. If there were any spiders left they weren't going to be bothering them. "Step one of battlefield medicine, make sure the injured party is safe before you start administering first aid. Now find that sword!"

Yuii retreated back to where the other two were trying to treat Komora. "I can't heal, but I know the civilian basics," she sighed, answering Ayumu's earlier question. Kyo did, however, and he'd taken the initiative to try and help his partner. She had guessed that the over-skilled student was beyond the academy skill level but she was surprised to find him capable of skills that one generally needed to enter the medical field for- or at lease chase up extra training. She would need to address that after they were all certain Komora wouldn't die.

Giving Ayumu a pointed look, because he really should be noticing Kyo's skill level too, Yuii fished bandages from her belt pouch and starting with Komora's Hip began to tightly wrap her leg. "This will slow the venom spread from the bite. Giving her anti-venom at random would probably be worse than seeing if her body can burn out the toxins." Kyo's healing seemed to be working, if slowly. It was helping give Komora the extra strength to endure the venom, but they would need to find that healer. She reached for her headset as well, but it played back static. They would have to find Komora help instead of help finding them. "I forget how vulnerable they are when they're still training," she muttered under her breath.

In the background, a student pulled a sword free from one of the corner crates, the Zelda item acquired music played, and several children gave a victory whoop. The pair that found it rushed to give the blade over to Ayumu and receive their due praise. With nothing left to do, the rest group formed a circle around them to watch in morbid curiosity as Komora fought to breath.

Yuii glanced up as she ticked the end of the bandage in just over the quickly healing bite wound and did her best to smile like everything was fine. " Komora will be fine! Class dismissed, good job! Stay as a group until you leave the Torre!" When no one moved she made clapped once and made a shooing motion with her hands. No one stayed beyond that, except Kyo who obviously they needed.

"Give me a hand lifting her Ayumu. I'll carry her up," this was Yuii's mess up, the least she could do was carry the not-as-light-as-Hikari Komora up the mountain of stairs, "Run ahead and call for a med-nin Ayumu? Kyo will follow me up and keep healing her and we'll meet you at the top." She made sure to grab the little bastard that had bitten komora too- they would need to know what kind of venom she had been hit with in order for her to be healed. With that, she started up the stairs and hopefully to the waiting relief of a medical professional.

[--Lesson done, pending everyone's posts-- I'll post up the rewards in the request and we'll getcha your double training~! We can do a separate roleplay from here or assume the next events work out to Komora being just fine- because she is- My assumption is you guys would maybe like to put this to rest since it's been forevvvvvvvvvver. Let me know in discord or in your last posts here. ]

Awake as she was, Komora found herself unable to speak or move. Even adjusting her gaze felt like heavy intense labor. Kyo and the others were hovering over her. It terrified her that she could not move or speak. This is the first time she had experienced anything like this. Of course she had never known fear when she was supposed to. Things that made rational sense didn’t normally apply to Komora, but anyone would be scared witless if they found their limbs as unmoving and heavy as stone. Kyo’s ministrations had served to repair some of the muscle damage that was being done to her body, but otherwise did not remove the actual cause of the damage from her body. Still, it had made it easier to breath as the muscles of her lungs had been repaired by his ministrations.

She found herself rather unstone like as she loled around in Yuii’s arms once she had been scooped up. Komora’s arms and limbs hung about uselessly, while she could only see whatever her head was being aimed at the moment it was the ceiling. Since she couldn't move it was unlikely she had anything else to contribute to the class.

While Kyo was concentrating on the healing he was attempting on Komora to keep her from succumbing to the venom coursing through her veins, he was paying more than enough attention to what was happening around him. What little medical training he had been given always stressed safety of caregiver and patient before administering aid, while normally the room full of spiders would normally mean that he wouldn't have done as he had, the fact that he had a Sennin and the instructor there amongst the area meant that he wasn't worried about that, even if he did keep an eye, well more truthfully his tremor sense, active and on the surrounding area. The thought that perhaps he was relying up on it too much passed through his mind as he did so, he pushed it from his mind, he would consider that more in detail later, when he wasn't engaged as he was. When their instructor utilized a single jutsu to deal with the various creatures in the area after ordering the group to freeze Kyo gave the slightest of nods to show his appreciation of the action, this was part of the reason that she was an instructor, and that it wasn't as arbitrary as he thought it was in the selection process for the instructors.

When Yuii began to apply the bandage Kyo moved slightly to give her an easier time accessing the wound, though he kept his softly glowing hands were they were. He nodded to the instructor at her explanation, though he had thought that doing something like that would cause an issue due to the flooding of venom when the bandage was released, hopefully they were able to get Komora to a medical-nin before that happened, they had ways of dealing with it that were beyond the scarred boy's ken. While he was annoyed when one of the other students found the sword and completed the mission, he put that from his mind, instead focusing on his current task, which was more important than finding the sword at this point. If Yuii hadn't gotten the others to leave he felt he would have done something untoward of himself to them, likely overstepping his bounds, and causing problems. He had unconsciously tightened up, readying to strike out at the gawking students before they were finally dispersed by her clapping and shooing motion, much less violent than what he had been willing to do.

When Yuii gave her instructions to follow up and continue to perform his limited med jutsu he gave a quiet grunt in acknowledgement, he noted that the instructor grabbed the spider that had bitten the girl and gave a slight nod once again, and once again it was to himself about Yuii, he would have asked her to grab it if she hadn't, but he hadn't had to speak up this time, and that was probably for the best, as while this wasn't the most demanding jutsu, it did require a good deal of his concentration, mostly because the way he was utilizing his chakra was far outside of his normal activities. He followed along silently, his softly glowing hands giving the scarred child's appearance a harsher one than usual from the shadows that danced across his face.

Pulling out his headset, Ayumu's fears were confirmed as he pressed the tiny speaker to his ear and heard static. The headset wasn't going to be of much use down here, there was too much interference. There was nothing they could do but rush her out of there. Up until now Yuii and Ayumu had been opting to let the students take care of the threats for experience points they so desperately needed, but now that one of them was at serious risk, it was time to finish the battle. Having had enough of those mfing spiders in her mfing basement, Yuii decided to end the threat once and for all and cast a powerful jutsu to quickly eliminate the remainder of spiders with countless razor sharp shards of mirrors. The silver projectiles made quick work of the eight legged freaks leaving the students, the teachers, and possibly some remaining rats the only thing alive. Ayumu nodded approvingly of her spectacularly cool display.

Despite her repertoire of jutsu, Yuii was no medic either. Surprisingly, it was one of the students who came forward to assist. Kyo, the one who had been helping with dispatching the spiders moments ago now offered his services with his medical jutsu. Ayumu nodded at him, admittedly impressed by his initiative. He wondered if the boy had designs on entering the medical training program when he graduated. Of course as the Main Branch Sennin he was mostly interested in his fighting skill and wanted to recruit him into his own branch, but right now it was certainly the medical jutsu that was coming in handy. The boy continued to impress. This would only be a temporary measure though, she needed full treatment for the venom.

Ayumu's attention was briefly drawn away from Komoa as some of the students located the sword for which they had gone through all of this trouble. Standing up, Ayumu turned to receive the blade which was sheathed in a scabbard and partially wrapped in a shroud. "Ah, good work, this does seem to be it. Nicely done," he said, flashing the students a smile and a thumbs up. He pulled the cloth away and unsheathed the sword. Despite spending all of this time in a damp dingy basement, it shone brilliantly in the light of the flashlights and lingering flames. More so than it should have with the low level of light. Ayumu whistled, marveling at the impeccable craftsmanship of the weapon. He had expected it to be some ancient, dull show weapon in all honesty. As long as Komora pulled through and didn't die horribly from spider toxin, he might actually be able to call this mission worth it.

Yuii's voice behind him tore Ayumu's attention away from his shiny new toy which he sheathed and slipped into his belt to look at more later. She had finished bandaging Komora and was now dismissing the class who seemed possibly reluctant to leave their classmate to an unknown fate. At Yuii's insistence, they began to disperse. As requested, Ayumu helped hoist Komora gently off of the ground and into Yuii's care. "Right, I'll go on ahead. This thing's useless so far but maybe once I get a bit further up it'll work," Ayumu said, flicking the headset he had fastened to his ear.

"Good job everyone," Ayumu said to the students who remained. He nodded at Yuii and then turned to run back to the entrance of the basement. He passed a few students on the way, quick as he was, and soon the static in his ear began to lessen and the headset came to life. He called for medical assistance as soon as he was able and a Med-nin would be awaiting Yuii, Komora and Kyo as they reached the exit to take care of Komora.
