Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Takeshi sat at the desk the amount of paper work in front of him just stacked up, it was getting beyond the point of a joke now. As he sighed to himself he leaned back in his chair slightly as he looked to the ceiling, once more he had summoned two of the ANBU from the branch to do orders today, the first one up seemed to be Manzo. He had an ability to make the Captain smile even on his worst days. As he waited he grabbed the file from under his desk.

Opening the folder, he looked at the missions scanning threw them a small smirk coming to his lips as he looked at the harder ones, it was time to give Manzo a challenge, he was now playing with the big kids in his new rank. As such he got treated like any other, gone were the training days it was now essential to complete these missions.

I wonder how long it will take for him to get here.

Manzo moved through the hallways with a purpose. He did not want to make it seem that he was in a hurry but deep down he really was. He was excited about this meeting to the Captain's office. Word had reached him that there might be a job for him and the thought of it really made him excited.

Fully dressed in his ANBU attire, something that he had been looking forward to every chance he got since he had been made a full ANBU. He tried to not let his exuberance show but he suspected sometimes it slipped out.

The only downside of being made full ANBU was he had less time to work on his own person hunt. He was sure he could bring others into the hunt since it was a village safety issue, but for the time being he felt he needed to deal with it.

Putting those thoughts away he knocked on the Captains door and waited to be acknowledged before entering. ” You wished to see me?”

Takeshi glanced up to what he could consider an actual relief in his work as he allowed his hand to come up gesturing the man to take a seat once more, he hated people who stood in front of him. Much easier to talk to someone who felt relaxed compared to someone who felt like they were about to get shouted at in military parade.

“Ah yes, I did call for you, as you know now as a full ANBU your duties have expanded and progressed to a more dominant roll. You are now expected to complete missions and make sure that you are working at a full capacity.”

Takeshi stopped talking before he looked through the paper work, taking out a sheet of paper. As he handed it back over to Manzo, his mission had now been assigned it was down to him to see the task completed. This was what life was like for those that qualified for the ANBU division. As he allowed Manzo to read it for a few seconds before he decided to speak.

“Your mission is simple; this missing ninja continues to hunt and pray on the weaker caravans that enter into the area. As such your job is to intercept and wipe this smear on our books out for good, any means needed are allowed. On top of that there is no reward for dead or alive, so put him into the ground like expected of us.”

His voice cold and harsh for once as he stared into Manzo, wanting to get the importance of this missions to him.

“Are we clear?”

Manzo listened to the mission briefing. It was clear what Takeshi’s expectations were, though Manzo was wondering if Takeshi was testing his resolve. There would be no need for a test. What Manzo had heard was release the restraints and make this scum rue the day he ever set foot into the leaf.

Manzo did not relish the idea of killing; he did not find joy in it. However, he also did not let that stop him. This was a job for the betterment of the village that job would be done. If Manzo did his job correctly, this waste of oxygen would be set as example for any that tried something else like this.

As he read the mission briefing, the only part that gave him cause to pause was the types of jutsu’s that he used. He had not gone against that type of jutsu before so he needed to be careful.

After he finished reading he looked Takeshi with a ghost of a smile of his face ” Crystal”

Nothing more needed to be said.

Taking the mission he left Takashi to his work. He had work of his own to deal with.

Takeshi watched the man leave, it was clear that Manzo had great potential and now he was an official ANBU he had his work cut out for him. Sighing to himself he allowed the door to shut as he leaned back into his chair looking out of a tiny window that was beyond a joke. As he wondered how well the man would do he allowed the trail of thought to leave his mind as he turned back to his desk. The scattered amount of paper work was something that could be considered scary. It seemed that even in such a short time he had his work cut out for him.
