Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Name: Aokami Hise
Age: 8
Gender: Male

Description:
A young boy of fairly standard measures, standing a fair (if not slightly short) 126cm tall and weighing about 27kg. His skin is pale and has a hint of sickly green about it if looked upon closely. His raven hair is kept short, except for a braided ponytail his mother helped him grow out to "help catch the fish." With a fairly lean build overall, the child looks unspectacular in most ways, save his slightly more muscular than average arms. His pale gray eyes hide a fire of fresh pain and sense of justice.

Hise's father is a superstitious fisherman, and his son is no stranger to the world of believing in things to make them happen. The pair have lucky fishing rods, and the ponytail Hise dons is born of a self-perpetuated belief that the shape of his hair will help to attract more fish. Generally, he is a happy, trusting individual who likes to see smiles on other's faces and justice done to people that hurt others. However, recent events have made him ever-so-slightly more cautious toward new people.

History:
Hise comes from a long line of fisherman, the Aokami clan. Meaning "blue gods," the Aokami have long believed that their lot in life was fishing, and the culture and economy of Kumogakure seemed to support that belief. The clan has also managed to build itself a reputation for being superstitious, going even so far as to refuse service to certain people because of their dress or name. While this hasn't affected the overall output of fish from the Aokami, it has hurt their customer loyalty a fair deal.

However, Hise's father, Ogawa, has managed to fight past his predisposition for superstition on such a large scale, and has toned it down to a reasonable (see: not turning away customers) level. He married to a woman of the temple from a family in Tenouza, and convinced her to move away to a simpler life (much to the chagrin of her family) in a village not far from Port Cirrus. The woman, Minase, had often longed to escape the strict rules and harsh criticisms of the temple life, and was happy to help her husband raise a family. She wove together fabrics for coin, gaining popularity for crafting seemingly weightless clothes from simple materials, and he continued his family's legacy of fishing in an attempt to restore some good karma to the Aokami name. Not long after they married, Minase bore a child, whom they named Hise. The child grew to be strong, much like his father, and as kind and rambunctious as his mother. As he grew, Ogawa grew continually more pleased as his son was always excited to help bring the baskets of fish into the wagon to haul to Port Cirrus. Hise loved to see the hustle and bustle of the city whenever he could, and made many friends with the other children he met whenever he could.

However, on the eve of his eighth birthday, on a routine trip to Port Cirrus, all was not as it should have been. The strike from the missing nin Makoro, who had been disguising himself under the guise of "Hayabusa Gin," managed to reach both himself and his father, as the crates exploded several blocks from the fishing stall they normally ran. Mednin in the area were barely able to contain the toxins with their skillful use of chakra focus, and neither of them lost their lives, but the mental damage done was not something the doctors could easily repair. They had awoken to a scene of war, with people dying around them, and doctors desperately trying to save as many as they could. Hise and his father both came to the realization that even with their simple lives, they were not safe from the dangers presented by the complicated world around them.

Still, one thing seemed to stick with Hise among it all, even through all the fresh trauma and pain he had been through. Something he was told that he would use as determination moving forward, from the medical ninja that saved him.

"You have a tough spirit, kid. You're one of the first to wake up from this mess. The Academy could use a few more like you."

And so, as the country calms from the chaos of a political struggle and a civil war, a young boy steps forward, toward a path he claims was shown to him on the day of the attack. With the blessings (and even encouragement) of his parents, and clinging to the words of his savior, Hise of the Aokami clan takes his journey forward into a new era of his clan by enrolling in the Kumogakure Academy.
