Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

The desolation of the Kazekage Tower was a sign of their impending defeat. She had a sense of hope when she tried to climb the length of Baynx with a child in tow. Then the resounding crash, the piles of earth that rained down and threatened to bury them all when by providence or happenstance that she was pushed out of the way. Uri, the unknown man with an uncanny mastery of the earth has offered her an out, she wished she had accepted his gracious offer with greater haste. He too was pushed out of the way, she saw him but only briefly. By the time she had regained her bearings he was gone. Concern her her own life was not what drove her ambition still, it was the this yearning she had for her only link to humanity, a connection she refused to sever.

The Communications Center, sometimes dubbed the Hive by Sou was nothing more than a pile of wreckage. It was from here that the Cabal had to of made their announcement. This was the relay center for the village communication, something she knew almost nothing about but she had watched the steward many times over the years perform maintenance. This would be more than maintenance, but she had to try. A tangle of live wires in hand, she lacked the sight to understand what went to what. A hailstorm of sparks and a jolt of electrical current launched the woman from her seat several feet across the room. Her fingers were numb, the shock her burned her fingers so the tips had become black. She opened and closed her hand twice, they were all there and they all still worked, somewhat. She repeated her trial and error effort and again the same resultant propellant explosive force sent her sailing across the room, her hair standing on end.

She was easily able to identify an observer in the shadows. Nothing was outside her ear's purview. An arm, detached from the rest of the body sprang into action and careened across the motherboard and twisted metal littered 'open space.' A dagger already drawn, Shiori took the hit but so did the hand as yet another jolt of electrical current surged through not only her but the blade and the metallic handle to the dismembered limb. Tendrils erupted from the shadows, one wrapped around her leg and slammed Shiori into the floor. A second hand came at her like the first, slashing wildly at her. Shiori drew up her arms and the knife dug into her forearms leaving a series of deep defensive wounds. Shiori hissed in pain as her burnt and bloodied hands ran through a series of handseals to unleash a gail-force wind to push the assailant back while she tried to regroup.

She knew that someone was here as her attacker melded with the shadows. She ducked as a leg shot of of the darkness and she tried to uppercut the leg as it tried to recoil, her fist tainted with an evil aura. The other leg came around from behind and struck her in the small of her back. Shiori cried out in pain as her legs gave out from under her.
"I'll make this quick," an unseen voice hissed.</COLOR>
...That was the last thing Shiori heard.

Sharingan Kuro had trekked through the areas and found a lingering series of chakra signatures that should not be so separate as if a being had been stretched to its limits and then left in pieces around the communications center. As he arrived his senses told him all was not well. With a distinct surge in chakra Kuro's demon eyes became Akuma mangekyo sharingan eyes. As violet eyes with gold tomoe swirled to life taking in every minute detail as he noted blood from a recent scuffle and tracked it to Shiori whom was about to be executed with quick draw and slash from his sword the blade was knocked out of the hands grip, but as he did so another dagger wielding dismembered hand shot out of the darkness slashing at his flank only to be engulfed in violet flames as Kuro used some of the bloodline limit power of his Uchiha body. It was Takahashi Shiori that he found beaten and bleeding, it seemed Kuro had arrived just before he could finish her off. Using his link with his Hashigaki body he sent for an engineering team and a couple of medics to get here by whatever means necessary. If they could manage to get communications back online they would have a chance to get all the remaining villagers out. Many of the escaped criminals had already been rounded up and left to serve as backup energy for Kuro’s plans as his demonside Hyakujuuonouu efficiently absorbed chakra from their inert forms and even some of the terrifying chakra of Djinn’s encased form whom was a statue outside of the ‘Throne of Bone’. Few understood what the statue of the main branch family of the Toraono Clan’s demonbeast ancestor was doing next to Djinn’s sealed statue or why all the recently captured criminals were stacked there like planks of wood, bound with whatever materials were available and placed under the effects of sleep genjutsu. If they could have looked down upon the arrangement from on high they would have been able to see the formation of a gigantic chakra gathering seal. With Kuro’s plans having been rushed to meet up with the recently uncovered plans of the cabal and his own blatant mistake to leave the maw he had become an avenging force unto himself. There were cables and cords lying about that were not part of the communications center as his Sharingan detected them. They were blatantly earth, almost metal chakra and they seemed to be alive. Lightning chakra began to build up in his body as he received feedback from his Hashigaki side that help would arrive in a few minutes. Which meant Kuro only had moments to assess and annihilate the threat that held this chamber in its current state. With precognition of certain events Kuro placed a spiritual barrier around Shiori’s inert form that would protect her from attacks of melee and ninjutsu. Kuro lamented that he could not settle down to heal her in such a dangerous situation. The hand that was aflame from its earlier attack quickly withdrew and somehow survived Kuro’s eternal flames but seeing how flames were only scratching the surface Kuro removed the Sharingan made flames as he began to pulse with internal electrical build up.

With Shiori protected by a barrier Sharingan Kuro became a living bio electric current identifying a mass of tendrils as biological and not formerly attached to any of the equipment that had once filled this chamber Kuro leapt and pulsed with a massive dark surge of electrical energy and with the control of this body’s bloodline limit and Kuro’s own devil sage ascension he struck the tendrils with a massive jolt of lightning chakra. The effects were immediate the chamber practically lit up as lights and cables were sparked back to life as a distinctive inhuman wail resounded from just behind the entrance as a singed inhuman monster emerged. With a seared and burned hand that was somehow regenerating, a being of black mass, and black tendrils emerged from the wall as Kuro’s usage of lightning chakra had restored a battery nearby and caused dim lights to turn on in the chamber. The writhing mass of black tendrils had a strange elongated face that resembled a marionette. “You are a unique challenge, but it matters not soon this place will be blown up and we will all enter the embrace of oblivion. I have sacrificed all but my final heart so that I may at last give up my dark immortality in a moment of sacrifice against my most hated enemies of this desert. If only the ancients had lived to see their fateful servant finally take vengeance upon these lowly humans that dared rise against them. Oh how I have yearned to take the head of the Kazekage or even a wretched steward but you demon blooded, your kind was summoned into this world as slave entertainment, oh well at least your demise will be fitting, buried alive at the feet of an ancient… Die slave blooded traitor…” Sharingan Kuro’s eyes flared with a power that even the Ancients would be wary of as his devil nature awakened his heaven’s seal. With a rage born of blood tested against the heavens, the twelve hells, and the world living and damned both. As black tendrils surged forth to run Sharingan Kuro through the heart violet violent chakra flames erupted from his body incinerating all but the strongest tendrils which he caught in his clawed left grasp as his dark seal expanded leaving tiger stripe like markings glowing all over his body as they mingled with the natural stripes he already had. “So you, a former ancient, dare raise your head against those descended from the very men whom felled you all, I would find this amusing were the entire village not at stake for my own actions. You want to die, then I will oblige you…”
Two fists one blackened and one normal became a blur of fury as violet flames began to devour his tendrils one by one till he deliberately ejected the ones aflame. Kuro’s bodies one and all flared with dark energy as lightning chakra emitted from his sharingan form became black lightning senbon which he launched with curious accuracy past his opponent striking the clay wall he was defending so evidently. “Your skills shine through, there is no way you would have stayed in that one place and attacked me with such skill unless what you were relying on whatever was behind you. After looking beyond you I could see the shimmer of explosive earth chakra and it is now disabled. You will have to take your vengeance through different means.”
With his own rage empowering him the former ancient turned Cabal agent became a black mass of murderous tendrils and odd attacks as tendrils, fists, and legs came at him at odd angles all deflected by his blade and channeled flames. Till at last Sharingan Kuro pinpointed the former ancient’s heart and with blinding speed after ceasing his defensive tactics. Kuro’s higuma cut the former ancient’s heart into eight distinct slices as the last of his life’s blood spilled to the floor he didn’t even released a final breath he simply collapsed into an elongated body connected to its limbs by black tendrils of a dark earth chakra which somehow began to glow in Shiori’s presence. It struck Sharingan Kuro as odd but he didn’t have time to consider what it might mean as he was making sure she was rushed to the medics or to his healing aspect. An engineering team arrived as Kuro collected the odd being’s remains into one sealing scroll for its body and another for its chopped up heart before clearing the area. Shiori had taken quite a beating but it seemed like she would be okay as long as she was properly taken care of. The countdown was on as the engineering team set to work to repair the village communication system. The medic team got to work stabilizing Shiori’s condition.

Chidori Control
An advancement to the lightning jutsu known as Chidori, enabling the user to shape the blade of lightning into different forms of their choice. Because of the diversity, this allows the user to adapt the jutsu to their situation.

Information
Prerequisites: A-rank, 7 mastered Lightning jutsu, Chidori mastered

Rank 1: Base damage is 4400.
Rank 2: Base damage is 5500.

Special Action - Chidori Spear: Shapes Chidori into a long blade of lightning. This enlarged version has a 28%/36% chance of activating the 'Impale' effect. This uses either melee or ranged accuracy.

first usage -Special Action - Chidori Current: Releases Chidori in an electrical discharge around the user, even along the ground. This reduces the base damage to 80%, though strikes up to three targets. This has a 28%/36% chance of inflicting the 'Paralysis' and 'Electrocution' effects.

second usage Special Action - Chidori Senbon: Disperses Chidori into countless needles of Lightning. This causes 5 hits each dealing damage equal to 15% of the base damage at +3 Accuracy. These checks may be split among multiple targets, and each have a 7%/9% chance to activate the 'Disruption' effect, but it only may activate twice per target. This uses either Ninjutsu or Ranged Accuracy.

Special Action - Chidori Blade: Channels Chidori through the user's weapon. The weapon is treated as Lightning element, cannot have its damage reduced, and has +20% Base damage for a full round. Actions with this weapon have a 12%/20% of inflicting the 'Stun' effect. This requires the user to have a weapon equipped, and cannot be used while Duel wielding. After use, this requires a full round of cooldown.

Rank 1 Cost: 2200 Cp
Rank 2 Cost: 2750 Cp

Notes:
- May only be used once per round.
- This jutsu must always use one of the special actions.
- The 'Impale' effect increases bleeding by one level and has a 35% chance of dealing critical damage. Additionally, this disperses clones.
- The 'Paralysis' effect gives the victim a 10% to auto-fail a single action performed during a round. This effect lasts a full round, and may stack twice. Only one action may auto-fail per round.
- The 'Electrocution' effect causes a target to take damage equal to Hp damage equal to 10% of the Cp they use. This lasts a full round, and stacks up to three times.
- The 'Disruption' effect randomly dispels a single random maintained jutsu active on the victim, and prevents it from being recast for a full round. If a Clone/Creation activates this effect, it is dispersed.
- The 'Stun' effect lowers the victim's dodge by -2 and prevents them from auto-dodging, as well as give the attacks +1 critical chance.

Shiori missed the carnage. Her limp body was carried off by a team of medics, her dried blood stained the sandy floor. The fate of the Communication Debris remained unknown to the Ancient. Sand fell from her fingertips in rivers, she was on the verge of death before Kuro's aspect(s) had arrived. Her life would be spared for the day.

Shiori has moved to the hospital... again.

The engineers have made the communications system work... somewhat. It appears that someone spilled Mountain Dew on the motherboard and it needed to be swapped out. A transmission can be made, but the connections are going to short out. You only have time to say 10 words so make them count!

With quick swaps and swift thinking, the engineers managed to get the emergency channels working once more for one village announcement. There was simply too much damage and no excess parts or spare parts that could be combined to make a fully functional communications network. Using puppet components and a clean rewired motherboard. The engineering team managed to power the emergency broadcast system with the realization it would only get out a small message. With a signal from one of the Toraono Clan guardians the young woman grabbed the sound channel crystal to send out the emergency message. "People, refugees of Suna, Emergency exit.. Location Toraono Dojo!! HURRY!!"<i></i> The communications board immediately shorted out as she yelled "Hurry." The team then made a serious run for the Throne of Bone... everybody wanted out before more bombs went off.
