Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Eye Implants

The first Kinjutsu which came to mind when Kushin was a young Mednin were the ability to swap the eyes of certain bloodlines into people without. Though as his studies quickly revealed, there were those who already had the bloodline who could then enhance it. It was a strange thing. A sharingan implant would also be permanently activated, always drawing upon the users chakra.

The first part of Kushin’s investigation revolved around the issue of it being constantly active. He received aid from a willing Saito mednin during this process. Kushin had the mednin detail the workings of a byakugan or sharingan. Kushin drew up sketches based on these descriptions but found that where Uchiha and Hyuuga bloodliners were born with channels of chakra which allowed them to control the flow of chakra, activating the byakugan and sharingan. These networks were delicate and when the eye was removed they broke their contact. If replaced with a different eye the damage done and the alien tissue cause a similar reaction but more powerful than that of someone without those connections. Yet a Hyuuga eye transplant would not simply activate like that of an Uchiha and put a greater toll on that of its new shinobi to activate it that it did for a Hyuuga.

This is the fundamental differences between the two.

Eye implants were probably the most common of kinjutsu. This was because it didn't take any skill in the medical field to be able to perform it. You simply swapped eyes. There was no science involved. This also caused a much higher rate of murders involving clans which had these eyes of course. The number of Uchiha, Hyuuga and such in the world despite the number that got murdered for their eyes simply proved how much the clans bred.

Thus this was the outcome of his research:
Origins: The Uchiha tell of the ability to perform this art as part of their history. Stories tell that it was a way to gain power. So with this written ancient knowledge we know that it's something which has been practiced for hundreds of years. Perhaps the oldest kinjutsu in existence.

Then if we take into consideration the ancient art of cannibalism and the ideas that by consuming someone's, in this case, eyes you can see what they see, then we have probably the beginnings to the concept.

It is my belief that in ancient times, after the clans did battle that there would be some warriors who ate their opponents. There would have been others who might have thought that this was a stupid idea, and that surely if you want to see what your enemy has seen then you need to place their eyes in your socket.

When this gave some very real results I believe that the powers gained through this method had the Uchiha stunned. There wouldn't have been more than one "Uchiha" clan at this stage, so this might have been the cause of their shattering throughout the world and might explain why there are so many in every land. I propose that the Uchiha clan would have had certain members who would have killed their bretheren to see if they could gain the power like those of the non-Uchiha. They would have performed the act and then found themselves with an even greater power. Of course this is just theory. They could have simply taken the eyes of their already fallen comrades during this time and found the power that way. Though that wouldn't explain the extent to their establishment all across the world.

This would have happened in the Hyuuga clan as well, though they don't seem to have documented it quite as well as the Uchiha have.

Known Abilities: I'll begin with the Uchiha.

The Uchiha transplant has several different abilities. Firstly there is the obvious. It is permanently active. You can tell someone who has one of these transplants immediately by this fact. Whether the person was originally an Uchiha or not can be figured out by the level the activation is at. If it's permanently at Mangekyou stage then they were an Uchiha, and if not then they were not and you'll need to figure out their other abilities separately.

The techniques that the implant gives are different to those of the traditional Uchiha bloodline. This is perhaps because it's people who generally aren't Uchiha who use them and who have created the "norm" techniques used with this added benefit. Of course it could also be because the eyes themselves grant different effects that normally the sharingan wouldn't grant.

Copying is one of these abilities, allowing a shinobi to directly copy an enemies techniques and throw them back. This is draining however and isn't frequently used.
Teleportation is a strange new ability they have access to. They seemingly move a few meters in any direction, much like a body switch, but without the need to use anything.
Izanagi is a technique which allows the shinobi to ignore the effects of an attack, this is potentially similar to the teleportation technique, but seems to be activated after an attack has already hit them.
A suggested explanation to the whole teleportation thing is the ability they have to suck a jutsu into non-existence, then have it reappear and target who they want to target. Suggestions of different dimensions are abound, but I have seen no proof to these theories.
Out of the theme of the Uchiha implant is their ability to create a giant creature around them, it protects them and becomes them. This strange thing is their ultimate jutsu, and it has no apparent weaknesses.

A Hyuuga transplant is much different.

The Hyuuga transplant has been used in very much the same way that a Hyuuga uses their eyes already. Except that in this case the user still needs to activate the transplant to use it unless they were already of Hyuuga origin.

Examples of techniques are an emulation of the Hyuuga's Jyuuken combat style, though not quite as good, the rest of the techniques are the typical techniques of the Hyuuga just more rustic. Of course some of the techniques are perhaps ones which have been developed by the Hyuuga themselves.

Autopsy results: None that have not already been stated. The eyes simply sit in the sockets and drain their victims of chakra at a greater rate than they would if they weren't a member of those bloodlines already.
