Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Kenshin looked around. They were doing their best. They enjoyed the challenge. That was what was made for good students that wanted to learn. It made Kenshin proud. This was the future he wanted to see. Students who worked hard to get what they wanted and were honest.

Kenshin allowed himself a moment to feel the breeze on his skin. This was what life was about. Giving his life for Leaf. To make sure that the next generation was strong enough to carry on without him. Until the day he retires, Kenshin was going to help every student he could. This Frost business was goign to be tough but so long as he had his comrades in arms... his friends really he would be ok.

He would shake himself mentally.

"Alright that is all for today. Put your weapons back into the box and i will put away the dummies. Now if you ever want to practice with them just let the school receptionist know. The wooden weapons can be used by anyone who have practiced with them once. Real weapons are for those only ready to take their exams. I expect you to work hard and I hope to see you during your genin exam. I might even proctor it. Remember to always be the best you can be and even if you take a tumble, know that you can rely on others. Class dismissed." Kenshin would say waving hand to the group a smile on his face.

In short order he would put away the dummies and close the boxes, lifting them up with minimal ease and walking back to the academy.

Still resting on the ground, Ryoku listened to his instructor’s words. He hadn’t even considered “others” during his time in the academy thus far. He had gone to class and returned home directly after. He barely remembered his classmates’ names. But it made perfect sense. Even once he became a fully-fledged shinobi, he would have teammates to rely on. Maybe it was time for him to start socializing with his fellow students. They could help each other out and inspire one another to become better, especially when they become Genin.

Even once the class was over, the lesson continued.

Ryoku had enough time to catch his breath, so he stood up and walked over to retrieve the wooden sword he flung across the battlefield. He smiled and let out a quick chuckle as he relived the moment in his head. He picked up the bokken and looked at it for a second. Kenshin-sama didn’t seem to use weapons. He fought using his own body as a weapon. As he placed the training weapon back in the proper box, Ryoku decided that he would start training his body to fight in a similar manner, without the need for weapons. He decided a lot of things that day. That was the impact of a great teacher. He looked at Kenshin-sama as he walked away and hoped that he would be able to learn much more from him. He basically wanted to become him.

It was by far the best class he had attended. As Ryoku walked home, exhausted, he reflected on the class and what he needed to do to prepare his body to become better. Ryoku was already excited for what would come next.

Junpei looked at his teacher and then back to his classmates. What a tough day it had been. Junpei wished he had more water, and visibly sighed when he looked to his empty water cup. His whole body hurt and was sore. He could barely move! The boy put his weapon away and waved at everyone as he merrily strolled away back towards home.

He was going to be feeling this probably for the rest of the week. There was a strong feeling of accomplishment upon leaving the class.

Danii bows to her Kenshin clone acknowledging his win. She wipes the sweat from her brow and finishes her water before returning her practice sword to the box. She listens to his short wrap up and nods along at the mention of relying on others. She thinks about Mai and Rei and even Katsu, who she hoped to get to know better since Mai-chan wanted them to all work on a team together. She nodded in understanding as he talked about relying on others. She had high hopes for her team. She knew how well she got along with Mai and Rei and Katsu would come around eventually, just needed a little more incentive from Maikeru than the rest did. She smiled thinking about the future she had in front of her and those she chose to surround herself with. They might be a pain in her ass and borderline stupid, but they were good deep down and entertaining. Plus, Maikeru and Reicheru did a good job keeping them in line.

“Thank you for the lesson, Kenshin-sensei. I hope to see you again soon. It would be my pleasure to take the genin exam under you.”

She bows and hurries off towards her home to get cleaned up before dinner. She picked up her pace as she left. She needed to be fast. They were supposed to be meeting at the treehouse and she was already late for it. She shrugs it off. Maikeru would fill her in later on whatever job Riku said he had for them.
