Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Kotori was watching them carefully, what were they going to do, how were they going to react on this assignment of her... She would slowly leave a chuckle under her mask. The fox-like lady thought she was outsmarting her, it was true that she never named a team or anything. But she was enjoying how they were having a go at this, the next was the small boy speaking again... And meanwhile, Kotori stood up, watching her Yokai contract being bored and cleaning himself. She made a few steps towards him and started to help groom him, her hands were still gloved as she watched them from the corner of her eyes. Listening carefully to their wordings.

Finally, they started to come up with something, and it was seeming that Asuka eventually cut the knot. "Hmm... You are right on that one..." She hummed happily about how they were doing. "It is true that Hyuuga's see a lot, but don't be mistaken, their view is also very limited if you were to lay it to another set of eyes. She watched the silent one of the group... walking to him and trying to poke his side for a second. "It is alright to speak up too..." She muttered under her mask, she kinda had an idea how he was feeling... Or so she thought...
Moments passed and Asuka started to talk. "That's the...the sun god, resting... waiting for the moon to go away."

Kotori would wait until their wording on Asuka's before she would talk once more. "That is correct... You got the whole assignment done... Just never forget this class and you will always find your way home..." She smiled under her mask, her first class like this was a major success!

[ooc: Asuka gained 1/3 strike(s), you have 72 hours after this post, feel free to leave as this would be post 5/5 but only if you gained more then 1500 word count you can all claim your class reward.]

Asuka listened closely to the masked girl speak, she was right on that. It seemed as though this could help her find her way back to the village if she ever got lost... again. She remembered once how it seemed as though finding home was easy, how no matter how far you walked somehow you would always find your way back. Now she knew that when lost, it's hard getting yourself out of the situation. You may walk in circles, walk in the opposite dirrection. Anyway, depending on the area, finding your way back would be next to impossible.

Fortunately, now she knew that there was always a way back home, she just needed to know the direction of the leaf using the north star as some type of... sign to give her the correct dirrection. But she needed something else... something that would help her find the correct heading, she looked up to the sky and thought for a bit. Maybe the moon? It seemed to always go in one direction but he would need to have further study for a project like that. Imagine that.... maybe someone already used this method. Man, Asuka needed to travel and find more about the world.

With a sigh and a slight smile she turned to the masked girl. "I didn't expect this class to be as interesting as it was." She spoke with respect, knowing who she was speaking to. "But it turned out the opposite, didn't think the stars would be so interesting." She gave a short laugh. "It's been fun, I appreciate what you've given me. Thank you." With that Asuka turned away, dissapearing into thin air as soon as she took another step, it seemed as though she walked through a door.

Victory. Misaki would grin widely when she heard the teacher say they had succeeded. Under the guidance of the floof, the team had brought their class assignment to a success. "We're the best", Misaki would say proudly at the small collective of people forming the makeshift team. With that success achieved and keeping the lessons at heart, none of them would ever get lost now. An interesting little skill since the desert of Sunagakure was a massive sea of sand in where there were precious few means of navigation. By day the scorching sun, always on the move. By night, a multitude of stars, beautiful but hard to figure it out. But now... The desert became a tad safer for the kitsune to dwell in.

However, now it was time for her to get back to the hotel where she resided. She'd have to return home soon, preparations still needing to be finished. She'd wave the people goodbye, thanking them for their time and wishing them the best of luck in the future before she'd leave them with a cheerful hum, twin tails swaying happily as she walked the way back home.

His eyes would follow Asuka’s as she searched the sky for that specific star. He could see further out into the atmosphere, but that also led him with a very concentrated, enlarged view of the stars. At last, when she pointed to the horizon on the right of her side, Hon spotted the faint, red light as well. “Ohhhh,” he awed, “… The sun god…”

A bright North Star and a red light. Hon found a way to distinguish north, east, south and west - if he just had a map with him, he’d be able to find his way back to the Land of Lightning easily. It was like a compass, really; the compass always had a red pointer that pointed to the north too… wait, that must’ve been inspired by the North Star! And it wouldn’t always be the case for Hon to have a compass nearby… he’d have to build that into his gauntlet next time.

“… I think I can find anything now,” he mumbled out in awe. The stars were his dots on the map, and he was a brick. He could move his brick according to these dots and pretty much locate any town… or so, that was what he dreamt of. Funnily, he’d hail the words ‘We’re the best’ along with Misaki for good sportsmanship as he eyed the sky one more time… oh blast, it was late. He’d have to get back to his place, or Yuii-sensei would blow up again.

“Yeah, and uh, good luck to you too… also, watch your tails! Anyone could step on them, that’d be no good!”

Kano continued taking notes of everything said in his horrific hieroglyphic style of writing. The shinobi that avoided him earlier seemed slightly stuck up; he half expected her to bolt from being part of the team. However, she held her end of the bargain and did what the team required. The small instructor then spoke again, apparently completing the required assignment.

Shortly after the completion of the course, Kano slowly and carefully put his notepad away. He did not expect to learn as much as he did on such a simple class. However, the skills he gained today would surely be useful in the future if such navigational skills would be required.

As the other students begun to take their leave, Kano gave a small bow to the instructor and watched the other shinobis take their leave. He looked up towards the sky as his different colored eyes studied the stars carefully. Making a mental note to learn more about the solar system, it was quite likely he had just opened the door for a new hobby. Turning around, he made his way out of the area as he began to make his way back to his room.
