Hoshi started his day like any other, a visit to a ramen stop for breakfast. The hearty egg noodles, deliciously empowering broth, the life giving vegetables and meat packed full of protein would give him plenty of energy for the day. And for today, he had a rather solid anbu mission that would require full strength and focus. As he sat at the lunch gointe hovering over his bowl, scarfing down the delicious meal the waiter would call out to him jokingly offering another bowl to satisfy the boy's insatiable hunger. Who knew why he woke up with a such a ravenous hunger, but it needed to be fulfilled.
After rising and wiping his mouth with the back of his hand, he would humbly accept the second bowl, on the house with extra meat. His eyes lit you and glittered, he went and scarfed down the second bowl, feeling his youth revitalize deep within his blood stream. His belly was becoming full as he slurped the remaining broth from the bowl and set it down, empty and clean. The manager of the restaurant laughed at Hoshi once more, asked him to come again and accepted his tip from the young Shinobi, he would salute before he made his way out.
On his communications through headset, he could hear his anbu squadron already prepared to get started. Seeing as they were waiting on him, Hoshi picked up the pace until he arrived in the Seki District where finally met up with the other group. The group further discussed the details on the mission which was a capture. They were to apprehend a crime lord importing weapons and ninja equipment to rejects who were scorned by the academy for whatever reasons. Hoshi was to play the part of another sensory type, so the group could get the jump on the caper.
Hoshi nodded, fully understanding his role, with that, he took the rooftops. It was night time, so being in stealth wasn't too difficult, he would use most of his energy to mask his own from others. From roof top to roof top Hoshi would give a full scale search via his Byakugan, although the only hakfa signatures he was finding was his own team mates. A lot happens on Sordid Ave that leaks its way into the Seki district, so Shouyu made his way over to the dark areas. It was here he could be sure to find something.
Sure enough on his arrival, they were several groups. These groups contained shady looking people, dressed in trench coats and top hats, probably to hide their appearance. This made Shouyu curious to see, only because it seemed a lot of people were dressed this way, which lead him to believe they all had something in common. From the roof tops, Hoshi would go prone and crawl to the edge, keeping an ear out for anything closely related to the matter at hand. But, he only picked up small talk with no solid evidence or clues to anything else.
Shouyu made his report on the headset, apparently he wasn't the only to think Sordid Ave would have the answers. Another one was roaming the dark streets with him, masked by a transformation jutsu to look like everyone else. Hoshi kept his eyes and ears peeled, in doing so, he noticed high traffic going in and out from a particular building. Shady looking characters played security at this venue, Shouyu lifted a brow and alerted his team to the venue. The one using the transformation jutsu casually walked in, getting the inside scoop and making reports.
A familiar description lead the team to believe this guy had found the culprit. Hoshi made his way over to that rooftop, scaled the wall from the side and entered through a window. Once inside, the kid just kept his head down, casting his active camo and simply hiding himself in the corner of a room. His comrade had made some alone time with the crime boss. They were in a room, with several guards and the boss. Once Hoshi heard the safe word, he'd drop a smoke bomb in the clear vicinity of everyone, while the rest of the anbu burst in capturing the boss with ease. The guards were distraught and fired off blind shots with guns. The people in the venue heard this and vacated the spot immediately leaving it empty with guards and Kumo shinobi. Quickly the situation was handled and all criminals were apprehended while proper authority was called for back up. On the arrival of more ops, Hoshi just watched all the criminals get dragged away, tossed into the back of a van with cursing words filling the air, Hoshi would wave and smile at them. Another day, another mission to be competed.
