Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Dokuso had been lounging around all day, either sleeping or reading a good book. He felt that he should go out sometime today to get some practice in with making his puppets move. The rest of the day he chose to walk around town, moving towards the training grounds to as the sun shined brightly. A small case which was given the appearance as a black and burgundy coffin had been wrapped on his back since the day started and there was a small rattling of wood coming from inside of the case making the mystery of what had been inside of the coffin more appealing. He would later arrive at a giant tree that had been known to him as the meeting tree which was conveniently located near the training grounds had been. There was nobody here today which meant no distractions. He propped the coffin against the tree trunk, unhooking the lock to the case and removed the lid…. Inside of the casket, was his doll like puppet– Jill.

The doll laid inside the big black box, her arms folded as a corpse was during a funeral. Her head tilted downward, her sad glassy eyes looked to the ground with her upper eyelids dropping. Her hair was a bit messy, her eyebrows remained neutral, the corners of her puckered up blood red lips turned downwards as if she was without hope. The puppet wore dark blue and white long Gothic kimono, resting in a black coffin like case completely lifeless despite her strikingly human like features. However that life will soon resurrect the doll from its rest so it can practice its capabilities so she could be suited for a fight. Dokuso held out his right right hand so he could set up his chakra strings on his puppet bringing it almost to life.

Maru started practicing normal movements, he made the doll like puppet grab the edges of its coffin and rise from lifelessness. The puppet stood on its own two feet, Maru made it look from left to right to make Jill look as if she was confused about where she was, which made the boy chuckle. Then Maru start to make her walk like a human and common movements to simulate a real human. This alone caught the eye of a few people but that didn't matter much to the young shinobi because he got lost in his act of making Jill move. Next he started to make Jill mimic his movements, making it make puppet master movements, slight finger movements. Maru got lost in his fantasy, pointing at the doll to playfully scold it. “Hey cut that out,” he said seeing the puppet pointing its finger at him with that puppy dog expression on her face.

It was almost believable as real person, Maru continued to make the puppet do as he wanted it to. Doing little acts with it was actually quite fun for the moment he didn't seem to even notice the many people watching. When he turned around he looked at the crowd of people behind him, some snickered at the thought of a 13 year old with a doll, some were amazed, and some even applauded for the show. To make the crowd disappear he got a quick idea, instead of making it walk Jill started to float. No one knew what Maru had planned next, but they certainly didn't expect what was about to happen next. Maru made Jill roll her glassy eyes behind her head like she had been possessed, then with that caused the forehead to open a hatch….

Cockroaches! Hundreds of disgusting writhing bugs crawling out of the dolls head, moving all over her and dropping to the ground. The insects managed to scare the crowd away, all running in different directions in fear of having the bugs crawling on them next. Maru smirked then Jill floated down to the ground, of course with that Maru disconnected the chakra strings and catches his doll as it started to crumble to the ground. Dokuso closed the hatch on her forehead, some leftover roaches crawled on him but he didn't care. He moved over to the coffin, setting Jill inside. “Spent enough time out in public, come on,” he said, the corners of his mouth curled up then he closed the case. Slinging it over his shoulder while he wandered off.
