Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

"Wake up..."

His eyes narrowly opened after being suddenly emerged in water that was chilled to the point where it could have posed as ice. While his vision was blurred and shaky a throbbing pain resonated through the boy's muscles akin to extreme soreness. Oyochi's head moved to the side slowly while his pupil's finally dilated fully and retracted, focusing his optical sensory to the point that he realized where he was and in what state. Around both wrist were bruising and for the most part his pale skin had residual traces of black and purple along most of it that signified significant tissue damage. The strange thing was that he was ignoring the pain, as if something in his brain had relegated that to the very back of his mind as insignificant. The main stay of his focus was the overseer whom he met eye to eye with, yet the gaze in Oyochi's pupils were far from docile. Something had clicked in the recess of his brain, his innocence had finally been broken to the world and it took only two years of strained training and these past days of continued physical torture.

"That's the look of a shinobi in your eyes Oyochi. The look of someone who has exhausted all features of childhood...."</B><i></i>

The only thing keeping his muscles from moving his body was the fact that he was still restrained temporarily though even during this the Overseer was not sitting still himself. Oyochi's serpentine eyes tracked the man's movements as he withdrew a kunai and went behind Oyochi's back, a place where he obviously could not see. He could not tell what was going on but the pressure along his skull of his hair being pulled and released gave him some good guesses. Though what really served as evidence was the fact that when he looked down, he could see handfuls of his hair laying there.

<B>"The Yukata Clan breeds shinobi who understand that the village has to be protected by means some would deem....unorthodox or the personal favorite...illegal. Fitting for a clan of our heritage linked to serpents and shadows, between the sly and the dark we are shinobi who pride ourselves in doing and going through whatever it takes....Your training is finally up and so we will shed those items symbolic to your childhood."</GLOW><i></i>

Both eyes narrowed slightly as he listened and the words stuck to his heart and mind. This was the truth to the Yukata and he knew it all along, though there was something about being told this in such a situation that it would forever be apart of his decision making and outlook on life. What truly stuck to Oyochi though was when a pain that he had not felt prior before suddenly surged through his body, the pain of having his chakra inhibited and momentarily ripped from his body that caused him to double over. The overseer had his palm pressed against Oyochi's back, where his chakra had been sealed nearly two years prior and the runic markings that comprised it was flowing across his skin, akin to being pulled away. His breathing was heavy and taxed as he gripped the flooring even after it was done the pain remained though would quickly result in being ignored by his body. The chakra shackles over his wrists were unlatched and removed, which made him feel even stranger seeing that he was no longer bound to use the bare minimum.

<GLOW glow="red">"That is all.."

Looking over his shoulder he realized that he had been left alone after that, that he was free to take life into his own hands. Breathing heavy for only a few seconds, Oyochi in those moments simply left everything he was in that place. Staring at the exit he noticed a set of clothing that was left, ones differential to the ones he had on which were covered in his blood. Walking slowly due to still feeling the numbing pain of his substantial injuries, he would put them on...

"Understood..."
