Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

The day was inevitable. The day that Kaori dreaded has finally arrived. The day where she is to work on her physical conditioning. What use is there to throw thousands of punches if you aren't fit enough to throw those thousands of punches. Yet another thing she'll have to do daily on top of her thousand-punch regimen. Upon arriving to the Academy, she is met by none-other-than Coffee-Sensei, himself. He held a large metal thermos in his hand filled to the brim with steaming hot black coffee. He didn't need any creamer or sugar; he liked his coffee as thick and bitter as possible - mainly for the caffeine high that he gets for drinking 5x the amount that normal people would drink.

"Good morning, Coffee-Sensei!" she greeted in a cheerful manner. The man adjusted his glasses, took a calm sip of his coffee before responding. This took the span of an entire minute, leaving Kaori in awkward silence (except for excrutiatingly loud sipping noises coming from the green-haired, spectacled man).

"The name is Taniwaka. Taniwaka-Sensei. Get it right," he said before setting the coffee down. "I truly hope you wore good shoes today," he said as Kaori pushed out her left leg to show the shoes she was wearing. Indeed, those were running shoes. However, due to the lack of allowance that she receives, how she gained them was a mystery on it's own. But that's not important right now.

"Very good," he said adjusting his glasses. "Today, you will be running. There is no use to throwing 1000 punches if you can't breathe well enough to throw them. In a real fight, you will be doing a lot of moving around, dodging, and other type of exertion that'll get your blood pumping. So today, we are going to work on your conditioning," he said before walking over to a cage and patting it. Frustration and fear started to well up in the young purple-haired child as the cage shook and a deep growl eminated from the cage.

"Your training will consist of you running away from this big scary creature that's inside here," he said before the creature within the cage barked and barked, rattling the cage some more. "Aaaaaand," he said, holding the word out before opening the gate and out came a 2 foot tall ankle-biter. Kaori stopped and looked at the dog for a moment before it barked at Kaori with the same bark that it had in the cage. With a shrill scream, Kaori turned her back and ran.

She ran, and ran, and ran, and ran until her legs couldn't carry her any more. After about an hour of running away, Kaori crashed right in front of Coffee-Sensei face-first into the dirt. "I guess I'm dead now," Kaori said before feeling something wet on her cheek. The 'ferocious' dog started to lick her; probably for the salt content from her sweat.

"Oh, who's a cute dog, yes you are!" she heard Coffee-Sensei say before turning around, seeing the man pick up the animal and petting it. The creature licked Coffee-Sensei's face a few times before tucking it into his arm like a football. "You lasted longer than I thought you would, Kaori. Good. Now that you know how it feels to run around, i want you to run 10 laps around the academy every day on-top of your 1000 punches. Good day, Kaori," he said before walking away from the training grounds. With a single groan, Kaori landed face-first into the ground.

"More homework every day? Funnn. This wasn't what you intended for, was it, Mina?"
