Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

The city is flooding with immigrants who have received word of the swarm is incoming. As the village stands right now there will need to be several new living spaces required to accommodate this. Work together with other journeymen and construct these new living spaces. While we are expecting there to be a great number of civilians, we are also expecting new merchants to be coming in as well. We will need to be able to accommodate these merchants as we suspect that they will remain in Sungakure in the long run. Quality structures are expected.

Completing this mission will reward you with Journeyman Status should you not belong to an Order.

People were coming to Sungakure to avoid a grisly death at the hands of the Swarm. In a policy vastly different from his father, the Lord Steward had opened the gates of Sungakure to refugees. There was a different in this situation of today than the situation his father had faced. The surface was dangerous, but the Bulwark was capable of keeping the people on the inside safe, and the monsters outside locked out. The Steward was confident that the Bulwark could keep most things out, but as always there had proved to be the odd exception.

Sungakure was limited in terms of expanding its borders, but there was indeed on advantage to be had which was to build skyward. The Steward would do just that as he would build with a team of fresh chuunins who were working to acquire the status of Journeyman. With the Steward there were four of them. The task was to build a home for thirty. The Steward would spend the first part of the day learning about each family that would have to be housed. There was a family with three young children, there was a duo of elderly people who had in fact lost their family to the Swarm. He listened to their stories and was able to think of the space they needed and what resources. These thirty people would grow to be a community within the walls of Sungakure. The Steward would forecast that these thirty people would in fact grow and pass with old age. The number of thirty was a starting point and not an end point. The people who he met with were curious. Some of were fearful of the man who was cast in metal, others saw him as a man doing his best to work for a better future, and some were just plain curious to see what had become of the man who for a time the prime politician of Sungakure. There were some mild surprises amongst the refugees. There was some resentment present, but most of it was kept hidden. Sungakure still faced some resentment of how the Diamond Maelstrom was handled and how the Daimyo of Wind was not reported dead.

The Steward worked with the chuunin, while he worked with them he got to know them even better. The Steward had a reputation for knowing the people in his village and while he knew several details he did not learn all details. The team worked digging out a basement for the building. From there they created the basement. The building was going to have a stone layer outside, but would have a metallic innards. The basement was build for more of a storage facility or a cold cellar to be used for the keeping of goods. After finishing the basement the first floor was then worked on. The Steward would station some of the elderly people here. The building would have an elevator regardless, but stationing older people on a higher level was not the smartest idea when emergency vehicles and crews were involved. The Steward would complete the rooms first, and then made a more communal dining area to be used if desired. That is not to say he did not create a dining area to be used in private per family. The Steward would also create a living quarter for the family with the youngest of children. Once completed, the chuunins would work on the electrical work, drywall, and some woodwork. The first level of the building seemed to be almost a homestead sans people and their effects.

Sousuke and his team would then proceed to work on the next floor. The team worked together to make sure the elevator was working to move between the present two floors. The larger families were stationed on this floor. Several rooms were made and against a general dining area was created to be used. There was a minor mishap of realizing that the building would need access to water and other public utilities. The Steward was able to backtrack and do the necessary while the team of chuunins worked to finish the second floor. The building lit up to the amazement of several refugees as the Steward worked his mastery of metal, which also involved.

Finally came the third level. The Steward made note to allow for additional levels to be added in the future. Again this was the Steward forecasting that this community of twenty people would grow over time. He calculated it to be a five year period for this present community, but given the influx of refugees there might need to be additional levels built sooner than later. Again the elevator was the first priority to make sure that it was working. Second came the wires and the piping to ensure that building was going to be supplied with the utilities. Then came in the drywall and the fixtures. There was a pattern that was being followed in the construction. The chuunins working with the Steward were able to replicate that pattern with little to no reminder from the Steward. Upon completion of the third floor, the team worked together to finish up a few more items. The building was fully functional and operational within four hours of labour. The families moved into the new homestead and were surprised by the living conditions presented to them. They had working water, electricity, and some minor furnishings. The rest would come in due process.

The Steward would congratulate the team of chuunin that worked with him. This singular structure would have meaning to the family within during this time of strife and conflict. Sousuke would remind the chuunin of that simple fact. It was one thing to be a very capable fighter, but it was something else to be a creator. Destruction was easy, but to create something that was enduring? That was something else entirely different but perhaps even more rewarding. Tomorrow would come soon enough and another building would have to be built. Sungakure was on the rise, and it needed the structures to keep up with growth.
