Curiosity Or Ego? [Spectating]

Manzo was not going to miss this match. When he had heard rumors that these two were going to spar he made sure he had front row seats.


It had been a while since he had spared with Takeshi and he had never seen Maki fight but aside from the pure enjoyment of watching these to powerhouse fighters of the village unleashing never knew if and when he would be called down to do the same. Anything he might pick up in this fight about their abilities might just help him in a future fight. He liked to think he would have done better if he knew what he was expecting when fighting Takeshi. But in this business, it was more likely that you would not know what you are facing.

[Midori Futotta]

“Well Fatso! You're here to watch the fights too huh?!” Maru exclaimed towards Manzo. He's been wanting to do that since that meeting, but of course he was here to watch two of the strongest shinobi in the hidden leaf fight without any mercy. Maki was a genjutsu specialist, but that is the most he knew about his former team captain he even forgot to watch his battle in Tea to see what other abilities he had but it was not a problem. Takeshi on the other hand, he knew that he was a Dark Sage plus he had some very powerful ninjustu under his belt so naturally he decided that he would choose a side.

"HEY TAKESHI! KICK THIS NEW SENIN’S ASS!! SHOW HIM HE AIN'T READY TO GO AGAINST THE POWER OF DARKNESS!” The ANBU yelled so loudly the whole village may have heard him. He smirked, downright satisfied with himself as he watched as they began to prepared to fight. He was about to see these two at their best, seeing who's darkness would outmatch the other this maybe the fight of the century.

 

[Kato Hana]

Manzo did not even turn around as he heard Maru speak. It was a distinctive noise that came out. ”Oh hey Puppy dog, good to see your powers of observation can work so well. Being able to see the obvious so well makes me wonder how you able to find this place.“

He wasn’t going to let the yipping dog ruin the event this was to much of a once in a lifetime opportunity but when Maru began to yell he seriously contemplating just putting the yipping Puppy dog in a fly trap to watch the fight. Perhaps that would come latter if he kept yelling, after all the fight had not started yet.

 

[Chigokai Yuna]

Ziren heard some blood flow that interested him. It was that of two fighters. But it wasn't just that. Just by judging from the blood flow, that it was going to be a real battle. And he knew just where it was. He found himself in a familiar area. He seen Takeshi standing with what looked like... Zombies? And some thing.
He was facing off against someone else. Ziren could only faintly remember seeing the guy from somewhere before, but he can't remember where. Anyway, the other guy had something to back him up as well. A shadowy figure that stood taller than any man.

His thoughts were interrupted by some yelling. Far across from Ziren, he could see Maru and some other guy. He looked at both, before putting his attention back to watching the fight. He studied each fighters movements, taking in all the information he can about his Sennin.

And by the looks of it, they seem to be friends, so there will be no worries of whatever happens. He sat back and watched the show.

 

[Sazuki Nao]

Rumors were going through the place that there had been a fight going on... One that involved his teacher... Swallowing for a moment the young male didn't hesitate and ran towards the place that would be the place they had been fighting. Quickly he tried to catch up on everything that had been going on, but seemed he already had missed out a bit. "Uwha.." Was his only remark and started to watch the fight.

Maru watched as the fight began, Maki summoned…. Well Maru didn't have no idea what it was that Maki manifested but it did look cool, then he finally got to see one of Takeshi's souls and not just that but he was able to see actual zombies! The battlefield was filled with dark beings, which made Maru lean in to get a closer look at the battle. Takeshi got a hit in, but them he started to attack his own zombies! That was when the dark puppet master started to get a little nervous, Maki waving towards the crowd as Takeshi trapped whatever it was that he summoned into the shadow day dimension! "Hey! Get your ass in that dome and face Takeshi!”

Of course that would be possible if…. the dome didn't disappear, the young puppet master didn't knew what was going on until he saw Takeshi suddenly crash to the ground, laying face down… motionless. Takeshi couldn't have gotten defeated! Maru leaned over the and instantly began to call out to Takeshi. "HEY! THE HELL YOU'RE DOING ON THE GROUND! GET YOUR SORRY BEHIND UP AND FIGHT!” although his words could be heard afar, the Uchiha was motionless. Beaten by his former team captain without a problem, probably that is why Takeshi placed this man in charge.

“Well shit, I guess you can't win them all can you.” He gave a small shrug, wondering how the others would react. However one of them he didn't recognize, he knew Ziren and sure as hell knew fatty but he didn't know this other guy.

 

[Sazuki Nao]

Izumi had been spectating the whole thing... and got rather worried when looking, at first there wasn't much to see but he heard the other call out. He thought it might be had been something good to do as well. "TAKESHIIII!!" He called out his voice did over pitch a little as he never shouted before like this. All that he had was worried for his teacher and caretaker at this point. He swallowed and looked at him, he was worried and wanted to get towards him but was afraid that wasn't an option. Motionless he stared at the chest of the other which luckily was going up and down. At least the old man was alive... He held his hands on the railing as he lowered himself towards a crouching position, not knowing if the motion of coming closer was for him or anyone else here since it wasn't clear.
Izumi looked between the bars biting down on his lip.
