Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Daisuke got his stuff together in a hurry: today he would do his first mission as an Academy Student, and he was employed by none other than his own father! Daisuke's papa, being a blacksmith, made weapons of all sorts for people of all sorts: big weapons for little people, small weapons for big people, normal sized weapons for animals. Yes, animals - Shinobi animals, the ones specially trained to work with their Shinobi human comrades. The little dogs one could see with full-size katanas, or toads (might be frogs, but what's the difference?) with little daggers. All been made by Daisuke's dad - well, not ALL of them. There were other blacksmiths, too, he just made a lot of weapons for people, and delivered them. Usually. Today Daisuke would deliver the weapons to people, and hopefully get paid for doing it!

As Daisuke finished getting his usual, warm attire on, his fitted on his Gauntlet - never went anywhere without it, the Gauntlet flashing purple a few times before emitting an aura that swirled about the boy's right arm. He went to the living room, where on the table, were only 2 packages, a big rectangle and a small rectangle, and then a sort of backpack-package-mechanism. It looked relatively easy to use: the orange ropes where supposed to go over his shoulders (though, crossing them might make it easier to run) while the multitude of thinner cords held the packages, so different packages of all shapes could be put into them. He loaded the mechanism easy enough, making sure the stuff was properly secured, before crossing the orange ropes over his chest, pulling up his hood but not drawing and tying the drawstrings as he usually did.

Running almost full speed out of the house (he couldn't go as fast as he wanted, he had to at least kick the door close) Daisuke looked around, before pulling a slip of paper from his pocket. The first house, for the small rectangular package, was pretty close by. Daisuke free-ran all the way there, as he usually did when going anywhere: flipping over trashcans, sidestepping people, and leaping wall to wall through alleys to get above the various stuff littering the ground. By the time he got to the house, a little regular one, he was already sweating a bit, and it was pretty cold out. He made sure of the house with a quick glance at his slip, before knocking, waiting patiently. An older man opened the door, a small dag trotting by his side. "Yes," he asked, looking at the boy curiously. You ordered a weapon from the Akamatsu's, sir? Had to be polite, of course. The old man nodded, smiling down at the dog as he waited. Daisuke removed the backpack-like thing, pulling out the small package before handing it to the man. The old Shinobi opened the package, revealing a small, lightweight dagger - is the hilt made for a dog's mouth? Daisuke suspicions were confirmed as the man threw it down to his little dog, who caught it nimbly and trotted off. "Thank you," the man said with a smile, before turning and closing the door.

Daisuke looked at the next and final address on his slip of paper - seems it was in the Susukino District, which was a bit farther away. Ah. well.... Let's get to it! Daisuke turned and ran off towards the District, free-running with some competency as he eagerly ran to finish his first - and highly easy - task. Maybe it would be different when he graduated, maybe he'd finally see some action. He sure hoped so - he'd been training diligently every day, and was sure he could at least help rather than hinder in a group fight.

As Daisuke neared his final destination, he slowed down, now panting from the run. He'd have to make this run, from his house to the Susukino District, more often. Until he didn't pant when he got here, at least. He looked around the houses, before walking to a creepy looking one. He checked one last time, hoping that he'd have the wrong address, before knocking, fidgeting nervously with his sweater. A tall man cloaked in black opened the door, spilling mist out around his feet - stage effects or some sort of manipulation, Daisuke wasn't sure, but it made him all the more nervous, Y-you ordered fr-from Akamatsu's? Ordered a w-weapon. From Akamatsu's. The man nodded slowly, and Daisuke quickly removed his backpack and the package, hastily handing it to the creepy man before grabbing his pack and taking a step back. The man opened the package and removed a dark scythe folded in half. He grabbed the hilt and slashed outwards with a flick of his wrist, nearly - but not nearly - cutting Daisuke as the blade and part of the handle unfolded to stand taller than the man. The mysterious fellow nodded, before closing the door. Daisuke ran away quickly then, back home to where he could report mission success to his father - and hope that he'd never meet that creepy man again.
