Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

She stared outside the Kazekage Tower for several minutes, enthralled by the various sigils placed into the building's walls. Many she recognized as prominent clans, people with whom she spent time in the academy with, was taught by or just encountered in everyday activities usually wore one of these on their clothing. It must have truly felt like a mark of importance to wear your clan's sigil, knowing just how much that clan meant to the history of this village. Chikyu was in awe of this concept as it was an attraction born from the status of her own clan, or lack there of in truth. It was only natural for her to have admiration considering her clan had only been established here within the walls of Sunagakure, in name, for only one generation. A generation that included hers from which they just produced shinobi from.

Walking into the tower she couldn't help but think of what she could do to make a name for her clan here, to give them some recognition. She would have to become a capable shinobi and so would the others who passed their academy exams and became genin. This was their pressure and she was the strongest among her fellow clan members so that pressure was felt more so by she and she alone. That was why she walked the halls of the tower, asking for direction before making her way to the Kazekage's office. It helped that her visit was not random as the Goremu requested a meeting, though she was sure it was not expected that the basically unknown clan's representative was an eleven year old girl. She would feel as if her stomach was turning for only a moment before those jitters quickly disappeared as her mind went to thinking.

It occurred to Chikyu's mind that she had never actually met the Kazekage though she obviously had seen him before. Talking in person though, let alone in this type of setting, she had never and wouldn't have never thought it was to happen. Yet her she was, standing before the Kazekage's door silently caught within her mind while quelling a building unease. Reaching behind her head, she would tighten her headband and take a deep breath. There was nothing to be fearful of or to be uneasy about she told herself before knocking three times on the door. "Goremu Chikyu, here for a meeting with the Kazekage". Her teeth ground against themselves after she announced who she was as the realization once again set in....her clan's name would have likely raised an eyebrow to their village leader. Where if she belonged to one of the clans showcased on the building's wall there would have been instant recognization.

A bead of sweat formed along her brow.....

Staring down at the table, the 11th Kazekage found himself lost in thought. It wasn't deep thought, however, as he wasn't the Steward. No, his thoughts were much shallower, much more attuned to finding better ways to spend his days than sitting in this office. Yet, today was a day full of meetings. He was warned that these sort of days would exist, a fair warning given by Sousuke, but it still did not take the sting out of these days.

"*Click* Kazekage-sama, a Goremu Chikyu is here.*Click*"

He would smirk, as the name did not strike him for any particular reason. Why that made him smile? It increased the likelihood that this interaction would be more interesting than just the typical 'work' stuff. Pressing down on the communication button he would respond with, "Let them in."

Standing up from his desk, the Kazekage would stand up and wait for Chikyu to enter the office. It would be a rather wide space that would look a little bit more scholarly than what would have actually fit Raizo, this being a result of Takashi's prolonged work and coverage as the Kazekage for the past decade-plus. The young Kazekage, in his early twenties, would be dressed in relaxed, yet still, elegant clothing; baggy as most attire was in the desert and covered in gold trim.

The Ryuzaki had removed themselves from Suna many decades ago, so the clan name didn't strike him as odd because there were still some families of this village, and their prominence, that wasn't fully known to him. So, this would definitely be something he would needle into to get a better familiarity with the Goremu representative.

"Welcome, I am Ryuzaki Raizo. How may I help you today, Goremu Chikyu?" would be his greeting, accompanied by a smile and a polite head bow.

The atmosphere within the office was not what she expected and neither was the Kazekage. He looked younger than what the pictures showed which made him seem out of place with the office seeming to be geared towards someone far older. Despite being born in the village her attire was still true to where the Goremu came from, something Raizo could see off back, but the difference that may arouse his eyebrow was the fact that she was completely barefoot. Even though the formalities was practiced over and over with the clan elder prior to, she simply was at a loss for what to do now that she was before the village head. Opting instead of a bow or gesture of greeting, the young girl would scratch the back of her head nervously at first in aired silence.

In that time she did take notice of his attire, captivated slightly by the gold trimming that outlined portions of the Kage's clothing. That is what status and respect looked like and for her eyes to lay on them really brought with it a sense of longing. She wanted that kind of esteem and her eyes could have stayed honed on his clothing forever had his voice not broken the spell she was under. With a head shake, her senses were brought back by the introduction he made and the realization that she had stood frozen caused her face to redden. Her head would bow though both fist started to clinch nervously at her side.

"Lord Kazekage, my family has chosen me to represent them in this matter due to being one of our clan's first shinobi among those born inside the village. Before my generation was born, our parents and on were natives to the shifting sands of the expanse. Our nomadic tribe have always traversed the dunes since the time of the first men as our oral stories tell. During those years it was not a tradition to have a name other than what we're called...so it wasn't until after immigrating behind the walls did my family decide to adopt a family name."

She'd raise her head from the head bow, her clinched hands no longer shaking as she'd spoken what had been drilled into her to say, all without realizing it. Standing up she'd swallow her next words before they came out..."With Goremu being chosen the next step was to produce a reason to belong and give back to the village that became home, so the clan produced my generation...the clan's first generation of shinobi. The truth is my clan seeks to gain the same esteem other clans have gotten by showing use to the village. The problem we don't know the direction to take as a first step..."

He would pause for a moment at her request for direction, taking time to take in the image before him. No matter how much he claimed to be of the people, because he made sure to find himself injecting himself into the life of the people of the village when he first joined, it was clear that he and this representative of the Goremu came from different origins.

They were both transplants of the village, but the Ryuzaki and the Goremu seemed to hold different foundations. One established and one in creation. Because of this, he could only assume the girls feelings, potentially feeling overwhelmed by this new direction of her clan, the history steeped within this village, and the burden for her to find footing for her people.

“You know, Chikyu, that is a rather tricky question for me to answer.” There would be a pause that followed before he would remove himself from behind his desk and begin to scan the books that filled the room.

“Suna, this village, history is so ingrained with bloodlines...but what makes them so valuable to the people who live here that they are held in such esteem? The Toraono bred fierce warriors and joined many new branches into their ranks in the name of the village, the Takahashi not only guided the village in times of need but also brought a creative mind and unbelievable crafting prowess. The Sunahoshi...” another pause as he would lower his head before shaking it off, “...were blessed with not only the gift to calm the raging sands of this country but were also chosen by Mother Suna.”

He would stop and turn to the girl with a serious look on his face, “So do you either have something of value, do you hold a power that could benefit the people, or where you blessed by a mythical figure of lore?”

A smirk would crack a bit on his face. It was a little tongue in cheek, but at the same time it was also the truth, minus the whole mythical figure thing.

“So tell me, what is it that the Goremu can provide? What is it that your people take pride in?”
