Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Many weeks had passed since the descendant of Byakko and his boss, the Kazekage, had spoken in his clan's home over a fine dinner that consisted of exotic foods imported from other nations along with some of the rarest pieces of meat that anyone could ever find in Wind Country. It had been a glorious meal and Kyuji believed that the two of them had grown their bond with one another and were going to bring this village and this country into a great renaissance of sorts. It would not be easy by any means as they were still dealing with rebuilding their village in some areas after the Cabal wrecked havoc on them and they still needed to deal with the Cabal and Sovereign as they were still at-large; the Daimyo was also still alive and well from all indications as nobody had reported his death yet. Unfortunately while they were dealing with these large threats, there were little ones that rose up especially in the corrupted areas of the village which included where our hero was at right now: the Red Light District. Sure, he was told by Sousuke not to handle the situation down here alone and try to get the help of the ANBU, but things were not going to get better down here anytime soon unless someone stepped up and dealt with them. Eventually, the descendant may die from trying to play the hero down here, but his heart was surely in the right place and the mercy of his lord and the other beings whom he respected had to give him a break because of that. He would just have to be careful while he was down here so he didn't bring attention to himself from the residents of this hellhole or ANBU whom may be lurking to try to keep the peace and stop him by orders of the Kazekage; he wasn't sure though if Sousuke would go that far to stop someone though.

In any case, he had picked out his target from the Bingo Book entries that had been plastered onto a "billboard" in a remote location in this "district". The target was a Miss Kaizoku Yotta whom was wanted for thievery, assault, torture and was noted as a sand pirate captain. She appeared to wander with her crew in the desert mugging caravans that were trying to transport goods or important figures; if they weren't mugging people in the desert, they were going to smaller villages and torturing people for their money and resources. Sometimes, people might have died in the torturing person by accident but there were no records about deaths involving the crew or Yotta herself. In any case, she was bound to strike again sometime soon, but the question was where and when would she do this since her strategy had to be modified to continue to have success with her "missions" unless her targets were complete imbeciles and didn't even try to remotely change their ways to protect themselves.

If she was known for attacking smaller villages and caravans in the desert, she probably would not attack the village since it was too big and there were too many trained shinobi that could fight back against her. However, a larger village like the Hidden Sand also offered more valuable booty for herself and her crew; it even would make sense to have her show up in a corrupted part of the village and try to steal from it since much of the village would turn a blind eye as long as it didn't affect them. Now if she was going to try to kidnap a well-known figure like the Kazekage or one of his Sennin, she would be met with obvious execution or at least imprisonment; a valuable figure or item in the Red Light District however would not be out of reach. The descendant with no other ideas of what this "sand pirate" would do next would go to a more crowded area of the "district" with the woman's Bingo Book entry soaking into his cranium. She was almost the same height as him with chopped brown hair, tan skin, curvy in shape and bore yellowish-green eyes; this description wasn't the best since she had the appearance of many of his fellow Sunan. However, the entry did mention that she never traveled alone and usually had a cigarette that she was smoking which made things a little bit easier. She also was quite good with a bow and arrow but also could use a sword; she seemed to be a well-verse individual when it came to fighting from the entry's description which might be problematic.

It was midday right now and he had to think how she would strike along with where and when. There were many questions and thoughts that he would need to cover before he would have the full picture or at least his understanding of what she was planning. In order to think this through, he would go to a small cafe in the district and order a latte along with a pastry after informing the employees that he would be staying here for a while before handing them the payment for his items that he purchased along with a little extra so he could occupy a chair. Once payment was done, he would take a seat and begin to munch on his pastry as he rubbed his chin with his eyes closed. This process would continue for a good while until the descendant would move his half-empty latte out of the way to place his head on the table as he wasn’t making any ground on this woman. Fortunately, it appeared fate would be on his side as someone who matched the description of the woman would walk into the building alone, ordered something from the counter, and put her hand on his shoulder to ask him if he was okay since it must have appeared like he wasn’t doing entirely well. The two of them would begin to talk as she ate and drank the products that she ordered and she would tell him that her name was Yotta as he assumed from her outfit and appearance. Finally, he had found her with a stroke of luck, but she wasn’t biting on telling him exactly what she was planning on doing next unfortunately. At the very least though, he knew that she was roaming in the Red Light District.

Following this talk with her, he would allow her to excuse herself and give her a slight bow in respect. The descendant would then leave the shop a few moments later under a genjutsu known as Invisibility and also utilizing a taijutsu called Concealed Steps so he could follow her around and track her whereabouts for when she finally made a move. He would not actually get much information following her around for the better part of the day, but when nightfall finally arrived, she and her gang had formed on the outskirts of the District. It appeared their plan would begin to come into action as they all began to summon weapons from scrolls and the bow that Yoota was known for had surfaced as well; he now knew that this was really the woman and not someone just faking it for glory and fame.

It was time to act he assumed as they would begin to head inward. Considering the number of members in her gang, it would appear to be the easiest to pick them off one by one and get Yoota last. The way that the descendant was going to do this was using kunai laced in a tranquilizing substance that would make their nerves relax which would make them unable to carry out their mission. The picking off would begin as soon as the first member of her gang made a step towards the busier part of the District; slowly one by one they would be stabbed in the neck with the kunai and Kyuji would use his chakra to assist him in keeping them quiet as the whole party continued.

Eventually when they reached the busiest part of the District which must have been Yoota’s target, there was nobody left in her gang except for her as she would finally turn around and the look on her face showed it all. She was petrified at seeing the small pools of blood and her gang lying face down in it. It is here that Kyuji would put his hand on her shoulder revealing himself to her and informing her that her time was up being a free woman in the world. He would give her two options that seemed like the most logical choices: she either could surround now and he would take her away to the ANBU to handle her or she could struggle and possibly be executed on the spot by him like he did before to Hashigaki Misato and Ueno Aoi who were both A-rank threats to the village. However, Yoota decided on a third option which was a duel between her and him with the winner deciding the conditions for the loser. Shrugging since he had nothing to lose, he would agree to this condition and walk beside her to a disclosed location away from everyone else.

Once they were both situated in this location, the descendant would allow her to make the first move which would be a fire-based ninjutsu attack followed by arrows from her quiver at him. A barrier would be summoned by the descendant to block the attacks, but a few stray arrows would go through due to their velocity but fall mere feet behind the barrier. His counterattack was to allow his eyes to switch to their Mangekou form and send her into his god’s strongest Genjutsu: the Tsukiyomi. Within this illusion, he would proceed to kick and punch her with a barrage of different moves and sadly for her, she would take all of them without much of a fight. As she fell in the illusion from the pain, he would grab her by her hair and ask her if she had enough, but no response would escape her lips.

The illusion would subside as Kyuji would see her in the physical world collapse from the illusion. But to make sure that she felt pain for all those people that she had tortured, he took her arrows and pierced her hands and feet from one side to the other. He would then wait until she woke up from slipping into unconsciousness before telling her that he was not done as he would allow her to live if she went through the path that he had tranquilized her gang and kill each of them while her hands and feet probably had broken bones in them. Of course, it was a tough decision for the leader of this gang, but she agreed to it and would take her sword and murder them all with tears in her eyes as she sent them from this torment in this world to true damnation in the afterlife.

With the task complete, she was free to do as she wanted or so she thought. You see Kyuji had lied about letting her go from the beginning as he took his own sword out and cut her head from her body allowing the body to make a loud thump as it fell to the ground over the last man that she murdered. The head would roll away and the execution had been from the back; a cruel and cowardly way to eliminate someone but a worthy way for a notorious pirate and criminal to have her life ended.

His mission had been a success, but the trail from the outskirts to the center of the District would be stained in blood from the assassination of Yotta and her men. Somebody else could clean up the mess since a majority of the village didn’t even care what happened here; who knows, a cannibal or someone crazed by blood and corpses would probably scoop them all up. At the very least, Kyuji knew one more criminal was gone from this world and he had taken others away that could’ve made this village and country even more twisted and corrupted than it already was with the Daimyo, Cabal and Sovereign.
