Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

An elevator ride down to the basement was all that was required of her so-called journey, which did seem quite disappointing. The Sennin, a strong standing slender woman dress in her usual attire, stood with her hands in her deep coat pockets and watched as the little hand inside the semi-circle overview, which indicated what level the elevator was at, came to a halt upon the sub-levels. The elevator door would open with a ping and reveal a darkness that dwelled so patiently from the basement of the Tower.

The Sennin's eyes wouldn't adjust to the darkness, purely because she stood within the warmth of the elevator. After a few moments, the woman would exit the body of light and immerse herself inside of a long corridor; the doors behind her shutting and sealing off any hope of light. "What is that?" Kinnaku questioned as her nose flinched instinctively at the smell of crisping flesh, a smell most unpleasant. And obviously her question was rhetorical, the veteran woman was aware what burning flesh smelt like and the notion of danger cause a knot to tie up her stomach.

The Sennin would follow the smell, the clanking of her fashionable shinobi heels echoing down both ends of the corridor; a tightly compact length of space that was mostly filled with transport cages, which were in-turn filled with some basic medical items. It was a stretch, even for the slender woman, to squeeze back the racks and cages - the rattling surely notifying anyone.

As she walked to the end of the corridor, her hand would be placed against the wall, slipping her head around the corner where the smell would gain strength. The Sennin would roll her eyes, growing tired of this little game of cat and mouse. She was so very tired of the wasted life, and yet so deceivingly angry that her own family, yes she refereed to the branch as her family, were killed and were killing. The glow of a spitfire, and what looked like a hog, sparkled against her dark hues. Oba would move from the archway and press on forward, descending down metal stairs till she now stood on the same level as the spitfire.

However, due to the blinding oranges and reds, she was unable to identify what was mounted onto the spitfire."Sennin Oba, I'm glad you could make it." One feminine voice called out from an embankment to her left, a shady figure veiled by shadows sat with her legs dangling. "Oh, is that you, Kagura?" The Sennin would shift her gaze over to the shaded figure, giving it a delighted expression; a simply blissful smile. This unbalanced the figure, named Kagura, somewhat due to the strong composure the Sennin displayed: why wasn't she surprised?

"Please, even in the darkness I can see you're pulling that remarkably stupid face. So, where is Choza, Lord knows he was always following you around like a lost puppy? You two never really left each others side, after all." Oba kept her darkened gaze upon the shady figure as the blazing spitfire crackled away, burning whatever collection of meats rested upon its blade. "I'm not surprised that you know about me, maybe Choza, but not so much me." Kagura would jump from the embankment and land on her feet, revealing her appearance for the Medical Sennin to scoff at. Like a horror film, a bad one at that, the woman wore a mask made entirely of flesh; stitched together in three parts.

Three faces of the three missing medical ninja.

"It's nothing personal, it's just that we would like the Branch." The masked Kagura would begin to laugh, prompting herself into an offensive stance. Kinnaku would narrow her hues and fix them onto the monster of a woman, but this was of course a ploy to catch the Sennin off guard, because from the ceiling dropped a silent Choza; a stick man, who wore a similar fleshy mask. "Your rule was short, Sennin Oba." Choza commented, which caused Kinnaku to twist her head prancingly as the sudden sharp pain of being penetrated from a cold medical object rippled a wave of agony throughout her body.

Oba would stumble forward, struggling to remove the kunai that lodged itself just inches from her spine. They aimed to paralyze her and then, do what, torture her? "You idiot, you didn't cut her spinal chord!" Kagura exclaimed as she wavered her shaking finger, shaking due to the rush of adrenaline, but would dash forward drawing her curved kunai - slashing forward, attempting to slit Oba's throat. Luckily, her Kikai reacted to the mental communication between host and parasite and rushed out to block the attack, which was a mere inches away from her flesh.

Being caught off guard this much, to shame.

The Kikai would push back Kagura causing her to skid backwards into a wall. However, Choza wasn't finished either, he aimed to thrust his palm into the exposed kunai so that it would be pushed further into the Sennin's body. However, the Kikai would intervene and wrap themselves around Choza's leg, like some type of leash, and would launch the stick figure into the spitfire. He would stumble across the embers, his jacket catching fire, but he removed it as soon as he skidded to a stop.

"So, you are trying to kill me for our branch? We are a family..." Oba would state as her body drooped forward slightly, her hands almost touching the dirtied ground. "It's the way I'm running things, as a family... I don't know why you've both lost your way, but it stops here." The Sennin would release a large volume of chakra, her Kikai going wild and filling a small space around Oba, giving her an eerie aura of bugs; which embedded a slight face, an almost satanic face that seemed to roar. The sound of the Kikai's wings imitated a roar, oddly enough.

Choza and Kagura would have attacked, were it not for the Kikai that snuck upon their persons and began to digest their chakra. They were immobile, huh, funny how that worked out. But regardless, the motherly rage of the Sennin began to show as her body adjusted itself and her expression seemed so calm, yet so serious. Her head tilted to the side as she raised her finger and pointed it towards Kagura. "You are no longer a part of our family." The Hellish aura that the Kikai manifested swooned away from their host and converged on the girl, almost immediately killing her and digesting every drop of her chakra.

After the bugs were finished with her, they moved onto Choza, however, they stopped and retreated back to their host. Oba would walk over to the body, having already activated a series of healing techniques that patched up her wound, and offered her hand to the boy. "I'll take you to jail, okay?"

Kagura had died, the brain behind the plan, whereas Choza was nothing but a dimwit pawn. He would be later charged with multiple counts of murder and attempted murder, however the Sennin spoke in his favour at the hearing; which ultimately saved his life from a death sentence.
