Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

The nausea woke him from his sleep, forcing the ANBU rise and stumble haphazardly to the toilet before filling it with a thick combination of vomit and spider mucus. The young man figured it was simply a result of his recent surgery, after all it had to take a lot of energy for a body to adapt to an entirely foreign transplant and it didn't help that he had forsaken rest for research. Having escaped the hospital only hours before, the man had found himself at the library rather than his bunk, digging into research on the Hyuuga. The way Fuu saw it, he was lucky to be able to move and see and at all, though something had begun to bother him shortly after his release. Sure, he still had his vision and his life, but he soon found himself somewhat disappointed. Not at his second chance at life, for that he had no words to describe his gratitude, but rather in himself. He had always prided himself on being quick to learn, a bright young individual who would conquer mountains. With the arrival of his eyes however, he found himself with a new problem.

‘The All Seeing White Eye.’ Fuu read, turning the page of the dusty old tome he had settled on, nestled privately away in the depths of the library. ‘Possessed by the Hyuuga clan, this ability, also known as Byakugan, gives the user nearly 360 degree vision, save for a small point above the third thoracic vertebra, located in the back of their neck. This kekkai genkai grants multiple abilities to the Hyuuga, including increased visual range, the ability to see an individuals chakra system and even see through solid objects.’ Closing the book abruptly, the ANBU rest his head in his hands, rubbing his tired gray eyes. It had taken time but his vision had returned to it’s full capacity, though they still seemed to strain unnecessarily in both the dark and light. ‘That’s all good and well.’ He thought, slightly agitated as he drew his hands away from his face, turning back to the pile of books he had accumulated. ‘Plenty of information on what it is. Nothing on how to use it.’ With a heavy sigh he pushed the chair back, collecting the pile of old tomes and setting them on a cart on his way out, surprised at the strain it put on his shoulders and biceps.

“Might as well smoke.” He mumbled aloud, throwing his heavy cloak over his bare shoulders and strapping his boots on his sockless feet. Under normal circumstances the diligent young man would have never been so relaxed with how he dressed. The somewhat lengthy recovery process, lengthening with each mission Fuu participated in, coupled with the complete system shock that had occur’d when he had awoken to find new eyes in his head had all taken their toll on the ANBU. Paying no mind to his unkempt hair and lifeless expression he shuffled through the halls and out of one of the many Sileo’s exits, wasting no time in sparking a cigarette as he stepped into the brisk night air. Taking his first drag, he exhaled slowly before turning his head and attempting spitting a glob of mucus, a habit he had to keep his mucus duct clean. To his surprise, the glob came out significantly thinner than usual, the bewildered man watching as the spittle broke apart as it flew. “Huh.” He remarked, glancing around to see if anybody was near. This late at night it was rare to find anyone at this particular entrance, seated high up in the pass for easy deployment to the gates, and Fuu often took advantage of this to get some privacy.

Stepping closer to the sizeable boulder that marked the elevator entrance, the ANBU snorted, building up another chunk of spider mucus before firing, releasing a steady stream of silky web. Pinching it off with his saliva duct, the young man gave it a cursory tug, frowning as the strand snapped about halfway. Confused, Fuu pulled the strand between hands gently, watching with dismay as the web slowly pulled apart. “What the hell?” He grumbled, taking another puff of his cigarette with one of his free hands. Something was indeed wrong, Fuu had always prided himself on his spider like abilities, though he kept them hidden away from the public eye. He had always viewed them as his ace in the hole, and now it seemed as though they were diminishing.

Stretching his top arms, Fuu strode out of the library briskly, his mind a thousand places at once. He had been in there for hours, searching for any sort of information on how to activate the Byukugan. At first he tried simply channeling chakra to his eyes, but he felt as if there was some sort of of block, some missing piece. When that had failed he had turned to books, which eventually failed him as well. Now, it seemed he would have to go straight to the source itself. The concept was a nerve wracking one, approaching a stranger and asking them to teach them the secret techniques of their clan to him, an outsider and by all rights, an abomination. ‘Chimera.’ The words rang in Fuu’s head as he marched, twisting and turning through the busy streets of Kumogakure. Turning a corner he found himself on a crowded market road, just in time to witness what was about to transpire.

“Το κεφάλι του” A man shouted, pointing over Fuu’s head. With the speed of a shinobi the man reacted, spinning and bracing himself, his arms squared ready to face whatever what about to happen. To his surprise, his arms made contact with heavy clay, the lower set wrapping instinctively around the thick vase as the ANBU slid back, trying desperately to support the tipping pottery. “Ένα μικρό γαμημένο βοήθεια” He growled, biting his lip as he strained with all six arms, heaving against the vase. After a moment of confusion the small crowd surged in to help relieving Fuu of his burden and allowing him to slip away, agitated at his weakness. Whatever was going wrong with his body, it was severely pissing him off.

“What do my eyes have to do with my arms?” He wondered, glancing down at his exposed smoking arm. The usually thick, toned muscle had begun to wither, as if on it’s own accord. It reminded Fuu of when his arms had first formed, starting out barely bone before rapidly manifest into weak little arms. The thought frightened the young man slightly, sparking a second cigarette with the first as the former began to reach filter. The change had begun shortly after his surgery, the ANBU first noticing as he began attempting to harness his new eyes to their fullest capacity. At first he had been tempted to storm the medic’s office, demanding answers at the threat of violence, but he had thought better of it as the days had gone by. ‘The woman gave you your eyesight back, and more.’ He reminded him, exhaling the pungent smoke from his nose and watching a passing owl prowl the night sky. The young man couldn’t help but wonder if it had been a mistake signing those forms all those years ago, a fresh faced AiT fascinated by the advances in medical technology.

He would still have to find a Hyuuga, but where was he going to find one in the middle of the night? With a heavy sigh he flicked the butt of his cigarette, returning to the warm hidden elevator that would whisk him back to the barracks.
