Suyashi had been learning alot, pushing himself father than just normality and mediocrity. He would find himself doing more and more, trying to gain the attention of any teachers or higher ups. There was something to be said that he was working his behind off. And nothing came of it. So he would have to work harder. And harder he would work. Harder would he strive for excellence to obtain greatness and emit the aura of... whatever word he could say that would make him look better. Suyashi... He spent alot of time looking at the boards doing what he could around the village. They had alot of interesting things listed that they needed help with. Though there had been some vandals that had started drawing on the Hokage faces in Hokage Rock! This was not acceptable! Not at all!
So he would look at it as his duty to clean them. His comrades at the academy didnt know any better, they could not help their upbringing. As his mother often said they were a product of their environment. THey could not help who they were because they could not help were they were born and who they were born to. So taking their actions with a pinch of salt, Suyashi made his way to the building site, Umashi's faces had X's and scribbles as well as the one before him Kami equally as bad... and it didnt matter, because Minamoto Suyashi was on the job!
It didnt take too long, as he would grab one of the harnesses from a worker and some other kids that were doing the same thing he was, they would all get to work immediately after they were briefed. Sliding down the side of Umashi's face, Suyashi would tilt his head thinking about how it would look if he were a giant with the body that was attached to this face. It would be a grand spectacle! And Suyashi acted like the parts of the face that were colored and painted on were the hot spots to defeat the man! So sliding with chakra laced in his boots he would carry his washing rag like a whip and chain, whipping at the markings and cleaning them with precision.
After the day was over and he'd effectively slain the beast that was Umashi he would smile at his work seeing that it was good. Then heading home he would give the extra money from his duties to his mother so he could help pay for dinners and even pay for food when Kouza came over. Who knew in all honesty but he was wanting to help out more... Suyashi wanted to take care of his mother. She wasnt what she used to be. She wasnt a spring chicken anymore like he heard alot of elderly people say. He didnt care though, he wanted to take care of her... preserve her until the end of time. To ensure she would be there with him until his own dying days as wonky as it sounded...
