Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

"Wait you put in a mission, for me?" Megu stood slightly open mouthed as Suo grinned back at him. "Well it's about time you started to pull your weight around here! That and this whole flier thing is pretty bad for business..."

Suo furrowed his brows slightly.

He's actually worried about this...

Megu walked out into the streets with a crude map of where the fliers had been taken from drawn on a napkin, and grasped firmly in his hands.

He'd spent a while questioning Suo about what time of day he'd noticed the fliers going missing, and what areas had been hit the most, and drawn little rings around these on his little map. After all, a ninja was only as good as his intel. He wandered round the streets on one of the marked locations and realised that he looked slightly out of place. It wasn't what he was wearing, his usual cut off jeans with a grey tank top, but more the way he walked round gawking at every passer by hunting for clues.

They're hardly going to be taking them with me glaring at everyone... time to be sneaky Megu.

He found an on street coffee shop and bought himself a steaming cup. He wasn't really used to coffee, it was more something he thought he should enjoy now that he was on his first proper mission. Bringing out a poster he'd rolled into his pocket, he fixed it to the wall, oddly balancing the coffee on his shoulder as he did so. After he walked back over to the shop he took a seat sidelong to the poster so as not to be looking directly at it.

An hour passed and the poster was still on the wall, with no takers. Evening had started to set in, the time when most of the posters had been taken. To his dismay the coffee shop had closed and he'd been forced to move on. As he walked round the corner he started to think about what jutsu he had that could actually help his situation.

If only I'd got round to learning that transformation jutsu... although actually...

Throwing out a couple of handseals he focused his chakra outside the body and onto a single point, where a crystal eye shimmered slightly before forming into the air. He put his hands back inside his pockets, leaving the eye precariously placed on top of a wall, pointed at the poster. The third eye would give him a perfect view of the scene whilst allowing him to remain hidden. Sneaky.

As he walked around he tried to get used to having extra vision, but truth be told it was really starting to make him nauseous. Luckily before long his magic eye spotted something untoward. An old woman had placed herself next to the poster and was wiping her brow with a handkerchief, her shopping bag rested nicely under the poster. For a second he nearly gave up watching, but something about the way she was timing each wipe with a glance to the sides raised his suspicions slightly. Within a second the woman bent down to pick up her bag, taking the poster down with it.

Got you!

He willed the eye to roll over towards her and quickly caught up behind.

He viewed his target from the back, not letting his guard down despite her appearances. Keeping to the shadows he let his eye do the work until the woman reached two other men stood smoking on a corner. He focused the chakra on the bottom of his feet and leapt silently up the wall, crawling across the tiled roof to get close enough to listen.

"Only one today, I think he's starting to get the message. Serves him right for trying to butt in on our business. Who does he think he is posting all around the area, like he owns the place? Soon the only place people will think to go to will be-"

Crash.

As Megu shifted his slight weight one of the tiles under him loosened, sliding down the raised roof. He tried to grab it, missing the end of the conversation as it cascaded onto the floor. Panic struck him as he realised that the group were looking in his direction. In the dimly lit evening with his small frame pressed against the roof there was little to see, but if they got any closer...

"Meow!"

A small voice came from within Megu as he imitated a stray that he often fed out the back of the restaurant.

"Huh, just some stupid cat. Let's go give the boss the good news."

The group started to walk away from Megu, who regained his balance and crept after them. The tension was still palpable as he tested every foothold before moving, the sweat forming on his brow. Before long the group stopped at a plain door, then whilst looking round they entered one by one. The door closed with a heavy clunk behind them and once more he was alone.

He willed his magic eye closer to the scene, but found to his dismay that the door appeared well and truly bolted, and with no signage there was little chance of him discovering who the warehouse belonged to. He sat up sighing, the tension slowly releasing from his body. As he stretched his arms he considered his next steps.

Well that solves the mystery of the missing fliers, but it sounds like we may have bigger problems on our hands. Someone has it out for Suo's.

He pondered the situation briefly before realising that the mission parameter was to find out what was happening to the leaflets, which he had, and he didn't really feel like confronting a whole gang of people without at least reporting back first or assessing their abilities. Safe in the knowledge that he'd at least gained some intel on he group he headed back towards Suo to report on his success.
