Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

The masked Kyuubi looked out the window of the palanquin, it was a real disappointment that Airi and Yoko seemed to fond of being around dogs. Even more than that was this father daughter thing was starting to look a little rocker than he would've liked it to be. Maybe next meeting will be a little better, then again maybe he'll just end up upsetting them both which was a good call on his part for ending the dinner then and there. Well nothing that a trip to the hotsprings wouldn't fix, so he decided to push the whole dinner in behind him for now, perhaps come back to the issue when he can come up with a way to actually understand being a parent to a being with actual human intelligence. Learning step by step he supposed, he just wished dinner ended differently....

….

A couple hours after the dinner Maru's Oni was running to head home and was nearly there too! Maru wasn't really feeling like himself since he felt like he could've acted better but instead he let his youkai shoe which was a bad move on his part. 'It was all that damn dogs fault.' he growled but feeling himself getting worked up again, rogue sighing then tapped on the roof of his palanquin twice to command his demons to stop. 'Hm?!' the demons jolted to attention then set then palanquin down on the ground then Maru opened the door then hopped out. Getting on his hands and knees he shook himself then stretched before standing back up. "Take Kawaii home. I'm going to look for something." he said, then began heading off to the forest in hopes of finding something unknown. Kawaii wished Maru well on his journey, then closed the door to Maru's splendid palanquin then off she went to the Spine Of The World. He looked up at the reddened sky, it was barely any daylight left knowing soon nightfall when all the monsters will come out to play will come from the shadows and stalk these lands. Maru simply wanted to clear his head for a moment, since the first couple of times he's met with his daughter it seemed that their father daughter relationship wasn't as simple as it was when they were just friends. Of course, he probably would've acted the same way if she was just some friend or maybe worse. Putting the dinner in the back of his mind, the youkai raised his hand when the forest had gotten too dark then made three Kitsunebi's to light his way. After his path was well lit by the Kitsunebi's he began to explore in an unknown direction.

As Maru traveled he was aware of the fantastic beasts that lurk in the forest walking along a lonely path until he got to the mountains, then as the sun finally settled a cold wind was blowing in the breeze with a strange smell in the air, like that of blood lingered in the air. Maru smirked as the hour meeting of evil spirits began where youkai, ghost, and all kinds of fantastic creatures cross over from the other world into the human world. 'When the last rays of sunshine fade from the day, that's when the yokai come out to play. he thought as night fell then looked over to kumo's mountains to see countless amounts of green hitodama's decorate what looked to be a lifeless mountain like Christmas lights. Along with the normal creatures, there were a lot of youkai around that acted the same as any animal. Letting Maru pass without a problem since the aura he gave off had more or less made them believe he was one of them. Just another beast among the other beast's. Wandering through the forest hr took a look around to see hitodama's floating by him, almost leading him somewhere so he decided to follow where they were going. As he followed the green fireball's his thoughts wandered on where they might be going, are they leading him to a trap? Well whatever it was will most likely be eaten or worse since to most people he seemed like a demonic general of sorts. He'll go with this at least for now, so he walked with the hitodama's for now.

As he wondered, Maru realized that he was now lost and the hitodama's that brought him here just went out leaving him alone with his Kitsunebi's. He started to hear laughter coming from everywhere, but nowhere specifically so with a sign the youkai turned around to go back so he could get away from the laughter. Ten steps away a tree started to light up a blue color with each step Maru made. He stopped for a moment then as when his footsteps ceased so did the glow from the blinking tree. Maru lifted his foot up slowly then the tree began to slowly light up looking brighter and brighter as he lifted his leg then faded away quickly when Maru stepped down. The kyuubi gave the tree a suspicious look, the laughs of children filled his eardrums then Maru saw the entire area he was in glow, blinking in some light show of glowing trees that danced though no music played!

As the lights from the trees blinked, they quickly flocked to a different area and the strong urge to follow where the lights were going was strong so Maru quickly dropping to his hands and knees began to kick his legs back to crawl like a while animal to keep up with the lights. He moved a lot quicker on his hands and knees for some reason hence why he didn't sprint however the lights from the blinking trees were a bit faster despite Maru being hot on the trees heels. He ran like a wild fox, zig zagging through the trees, hopping over logs, he felt his animalistic instincts to be free and wild surface. A wild fox. He ran deeper, deeper, not really taking into account that he was heading to the darker parts of the heartlands until the lights stopped in a secluded clearing in the forest where Maru was indeed lost at. The lights from the trees stopped blinking, then slowed down to a mere dim then the lights went out leaving Maru alone with his fox fire and the sound of crickets. Crouched, Maru took his getta off then scratched in behind his ears with his foot and then put his getta on his foot then he stood up straight, he dusted off his kimono and then went to walk out of the clearing to try to simply leave the forest when suddenly he felt himself step on something and stopping his ears perked up in attention. 'Hm?' he thought as he raised his foot to look at what he stepped on.. a lonely summoning scroll which what looked to be one of those random summoning was just laying there old and dirty.

Maru looked at the empty scroll that hasn't been signed yet, he guessed someone must've wanted to summon something but they abandon the scroll because it was spooky out here at night. Regardless it was a greentreed summon so he snickered in his heart. 'Not easy huh?' he thought back then reopen the scroll. He pulled out from underneath his mask some ink and a quill then popped open the ink thn dipped the quill in ink then he proceeded to sign the contract with his current name. Yamamoto Yamaru. Once that was done his thumb until it drew blood so he could stamp his blood on the supernatural circles that was around his signature then for an extra flair he drew the Japanese character for fear on the page to symbolises that he was a proud demon. The contract began to glow red to let Maru know what show that the price had been paid and that power was now his. The contract went up in red flames then the chakra transfer into his hand so he gripped his hand and he smiled. "Alright let's hope for the best." he said then he stood straight up then went to the center of the clearing, taking in a deep breath.

Now the only problem with random was that you never knew what you'll get but he knew that dogs weren't a common thing in lighting country. That's if he remembered correctly which he was confident that no mutt will show up for this random summon, he's studied all the creatures of the contract world and knew what powers would they have to best benefit him in the long run, he just hopped that whatever this random summon is could contribute to helping his real summons which are his youkai.. Airi and Yoko included. Without another word he waited for the hour of the rat to arrive, weaving hand signs quickly he slammed his hand to the ground then rutanic marking then he closed his eyes, hoping for the best.
