Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Having been quite a while since Raku had managed to obtain some free time with which he could do with what he pleased, but it had been even longer since he'd used that time to go out and attempt to have a good time. Since coming to Kumogakure those months ago and becoming a Shinobi of Cloud, he hadn't had much interaction with other people. He pretty much kept to himself for the most part, as he wasn't a super out going guy -- though that changed slightly if he were to get intoxicated, or be having a good time with friends; but he really didn't have any friends at the moment, since he was no longer in his home country of Kirigakure, people had died, or got split up, or went to different countries to start anew. Being home alone in the quiet all the time gets lonely, so of course Raku wanted to at least attempt to meet new people, see if he could make any friends, or at least have some kind of human interaction.

It seemed that if you were looking to find a lot of people around, and have a good time, the Susukino District was the place for you. Filled with clubs, restaurants, shops, and all kinda of popular places, it was probably one of the busiest areas around. This fact was what encouraged Raku to pick this place as the destination for his little adventure out into the wild we call society. Deciding to get a little dressed up for the occasion, Raku had put on some sort of fancy clothing -- at least more so than his normal casusal cloths; seeing as this area was more than just casual. Walking down the street, standing tall, wearing a pair of black pants held up by a belt, with a white buttoned up shirt tucked in, and a sort of casual black blazer, his hands were in his pockets, and he was slightly slouched forward while he walked, though less so than when he stood still; the only thing that showed he was a Shinobi was the Cloud headband he wore on the outside of his right arm. Taking a moment to remove one hand from his side pants pocket, he raised his hand up to his forehead, running his fingers through the front bangs of his hair, moving them up, back, and out of the way of his face, revealing his eye-patch more visibly, as well as his other bright green eye. There were plenty of people in the streets, some walking, some standing in front of buildings; chatting, smoking, some acting like fools. It was late during a weekend, so plenty of people were out partying and having a good time, which made it feel all the more busy.

Spotting a nice looking restaurant/bar, he decided it seemed like the perfect place for him to start. Not too busy, a bar where he could get a drink to take the edge off, and it was still a restaurant, so there wouldn't only be people there looking to drink and/or get drunk. The night was young, and the air was a little chilly as he approached the entrance to the establishment, walking in the temperature quickly changed to warm thanks to the people inside, and the closed in walls of the place. It wasn't full, but it wasn't empty either, enough people to feel comfortable being there, maybe more so after he could get himself a drink. He slowly walked up to the bar, taking a seat on the stool in front of it, placing his hands on the bar, clasping them together, his fingers intertwined while he waited. Within a few moments a man came over, asking what he'd like, to which Raku requested a bottle of beer. It wasn't a normal drink for people in these parts, but he had grown accustomed to it; an acquired some might say. He wasn't much of a drinker, but it wasn't a super alcoholic drink either, just good enough for him to chill out a little bit, and relax. The man quickly came back, placing the bottle on the bar in front of him. Raku grabbed some money from his pocket, paying the man, as he reached with his other hand, wrapping a few fingers around the bottle, picking it up and placing it against his lips to take a quick swig. Raku decided it best for him to just relax for the first while, to sit there and see if anyone would approach him, as people came and left the restaurant. Most of the people in the restaurant seemed like normal civilians out having a good time, but of course Shinobi liked to have a good time also. Continuing to take sips from his drink, he sat at the bar for a little bit, seeing what would come from tonight's outing.

Yumeko sighed as she walked throughout the village and stretched while she did so. She glanced at the sky as she walked during the night, before noticing that a restaurant/bar had caught her eye in which she stopped for a moment to decide if she wanted to enter it or not. Her decision took a few minutes, in which a breeze passed through the area which had caused her skirt and her hair to both gently flutter in the direction that the breeze had moved.

As she made her decision, she shrugged a little bit to herself and walked towards the entrance to the restaurant/bar and entered it. As she looked around, she would scan the area in which she would soon move towards the bar and had soon noticed that there was a man at the bar as well. She would look at the bartender before speaking. "I'll take some sake." She said, as the bartender had nodded before moving to get her the drink she requested, and in which would be paid for once it was brought to her.

"So, what brings you here?" She said to the man who was drinking a drink, as the bartender brought back her drink in which she payed. She poured herself some sake and took a sip of it.

Sitting at the bar continuing to sip at his drink, it wasn't too long before another person had approached the bar. A slight breeze rolled in as the new person entered the bar, cooling the air inside slightly, as Raku took in a deep breath of the refreshing air, quickly after letting it back out and without looking, from the corner of his eye he could see that the new person resembled a young female around the same age as him, or so it would seem -- you never could really tell some peoples age these days. Sitting there, leaning forward, one arm resting on the bar, the other holding the bottle of his beer, keeping it close to his face for continued drinks from the bottle. The restaurant wasn't too loud, so he was easily able to hear everything that was going on. Listening as the young woman walked up to the bar and ordered some Sake; a pretty normal drink in the current day and age. While sitting there, soon after the woman began to speak to him, asking him a question. He hadn't really expected anyone to start any kind of conversation with him, but he wouldn't mind having a conversation for once.

"So, what brings you here?" She had asked him. Realizing it was directed at him, Raku took another quick sip before turning his head slightly towards her and responding himself.

"Getting my ass out of the house for once, and you?" He questioned quickly, trying to make conversation for the first time in a while. Turning and angling his body in a more receptive position towards her, but not completely open, seeing as they had just met. He raised his hand up to his bangs once again, stroking his fingers through them and pulling them back on top of his head so they were out of the way of his vision. It had been a while since he'd had a normal conversation.

As the man had answered her question, she would smirk slightly between sips of sake. "I've decided to have a night to myself after I had recently come back from a trip and learned something. There's also the possibility of something big, though it's simply my speculation is all." She said with a faint sigh before she poured herself more sake and taking a sip from it. "So how's your time out been working for ya?" She asked looking at him out of the corner of her eye after taking yet another sip of sake. She would soon turn and look throughout the bar as she waited for the mans answer to her question before she looked over towards him.

Raku sat on the stool still continuing to take sips from his bottle of beer, tasting it slowly getting warmer; everyone knew warm beer wasn't near as good as it was cold, so he quickly took a chug from the bottle finishing it off, as there wasn't much left by this time anyway. It truly had been a while since he last had a normal conversation with someone. Taking about trivial things such as going-ons in their lives or whatever else people talked about casually. The current conversation continued on, and as such, Raku shifted his body slightly, giving a more receptive positioning, as to not be rude. Still, he had just met this woman, so he didn't want to be too chummy. It didn't take long after his last response for her to finish a sip of her drink and reply to his question. It seemed she was out for a pretty standard reason, but interesting the added explanation of something possibly big going on; it piqued his interest, but not enough for him to interrupt the flow of the conversation to make any remarks about it just yet.

Not but a moment later, she spoke again, asking about how his time out on the town was going for him, seeing her look around the room a little bit. It seemed a bit odd, like she was sizing up the room or something, or maybe it was just a habit she had to fill time during routine conversation. Raku couldn't be sure either way, but it didn't seem like it meant anything overly serious, so he quickly chose just to ignore it. Turning his head towards the man behind the bar, and held up his hand with one finger raised, as if to say 'one more, please.' The man quickly nodded and went towards the fridge to grab Raku another drink. Turning back towards the woman, he gave a slight grin.

"Well, not too bad. A good relaxing night so far. It's a nice change of pace." He replied, not going into too much detail. Before coming too cloud, things were a little rough, but since being in cloud, he had mostly just been alone in his home at nights when he wasn't training or doing missions, etc. While sitting there, the man returned with a cold beer in hand, the cap removed, setting it down on the bar in front of him, as Raku pushed the Yen he had picked out of his pocket while talking moments ago forward for the man to take. Moving the hand to the neck of the bottle afterwards, he lifted it up, placing it against his lips, taking a longer sip than normal, taking in the flavour, then setting the bottle back down onto the bar, looking towards the woman again.

"So you found something that could be big while traveling huh? Sounds like it was a fun trip then." He responded, deciding it was a good topic of conversation, but quickly realizing that he had yet to even introduce himself, which seemed like the proper thing to do after a conversation has been started between two people like this, but before getting into normal topics. He wasn't very good at this social stuff, "I'm Raku by the way. Nice to meet you." He said quickly, smiling towards the woman slightly, trying to be friendly enough to seem normal, if that was a thing.
