Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

The Hachiashi clan are known to be quite special as their own physique and capability can only be described as a twisted and grotesque being of both man and spider. While many do accept the Hachiashi, it is only because of their talents and unique ability to produce a certain type of silk that can even match the steel of an experienced weapon smith, even so they also have a wide variety of techniques that allows them to trap and debilitate like a spider, but also attack from afar as Hachiashis are known expert shinobi that utilizes ranged weaponry from throwing hardened silk sickles to a great war bow and combined with their multiple limbs, can perform assassinations before they can even get to them.

Silk Weaving - Passive
Hachiashis are capable of producing a unique type of silk that allows them to weave traps and weapons among other possible uses. Although they are limited by the rate they can produce such silk, each one has their own purpose and utility, and even experienced Hachiashis are capable of mass-producing these silks or even create a much finer one, a golden silk that hardens when it briefly comes contact with the air and turning into one of the most strongest and durable material.

Rank 1/2/3: Once every 20 / 15 / 10 seconds, the user can reinforce one of the following with their silk:
  • Projectile, Thrown or Puppet Weapon: Grants +5% Damage, removes a rank of Called Shot from their weapon and when they land a Critical Hit with the weapon, it inflicts the target(s) with Webbed debuff. At Rank 2 / 3, they can re-apply the ability to increase the bonuses, up to a maximum of 10% / 15% Damage.
  • Armor: The user can expend up to 3% / 4% / 5% of their maximum CP to gain Temporary HP equal to twice of the expended CP for 10 seconds.

Notes:
- Webbed lasts indefinitely and inflicts a -1 Accuracy and Dodge to the target. Does not stack. May be removed by the target for 1 AP.
- Temporary HP is reduced before the user's normal HP, but only when hit by an attack (it does not apply toward any DoT). Temporary HP can bypass your maximum hit points, but cannot stack (a higher amount overwrites the weaker amount). Temporary HP is lost at the end of the round.

Spider Arts - Physical Fighting STyle
Hachiashi have one completely noticeable trait about them that they simply cannot hide. Eventually over the course of their life, most commonly around adolescence, their body will begin to mutate into having four extra arms, giving them six total arms. This reflects upon their spider-like traits, and quickly grow to identical sizes compared to their original set. This abnormality becomes their greatest strengths as it allows them to unleash a deadly barrage of attacks.

Effect: User may choose to start in battle under the effects of one of the Spider Arts effects (see below). The user may pay the normal cost of entering a style to change which Spider Arts effects they currently have active at any time. At Rank 3, the user may choose any of the two Spider Arts to be active upon entering the style.
Rank 1:
  • User is treated as having the Concentrated Focus ability.
  • User may use hand seals as normal while equipped with a weapon.
  • User may automatically apply one Poison from their inventory to their equipped weapon upon entering this style.
Rank 2:
  • User is treated as having the Heavy Handed ability and the weapon they are wielding is treated as equipped with the Great Weapon augment.
  • User is treated as having the Ambidexterity ability and the weapon they are wielding is treated as equipped with the Dual Weapon augment.

Notes:
- The user can choose to drop out or enter this Style for 1 AP, or may choose to switch to another effect for 0.5 AP.
- If the user chooses the options for Heavy Handed and Ambidexterity as part of Spider Arts then the mutual exclusivity of Dual Weapon and Great Weapon is ignored, but is considered as if taking both their Physical and Chakra Style.

Cocoon - E-Rank Variable Taijutsu
Launching a globule of silk on an unsuspecting prey, the Haschiashi quickly weaves it as it hardens, wrapping their foe around it and momentarily restraining them.

Rank 1/2/3: Attempts to encase a target at -1 / 0 / +1 Accuracy and upon hit, the target's next action is delayed by 0.5 / 0.75 / 1 second(s). Once per round, if the target is Webbed, this gains +2 Accuracy and the target is instead bound for 1 / 1.5 / 2 seconds.

Cost: 0.75 AP and 65 / 80 / 95 Chakra.

Notes:
- May only be used with Ranged, Thrown or Puppet Weapon.
- A bound target cannot perform any actions that requires handseals and suffers -3 Dodge against the first attack against them.
- Unlike other binds, Cocoon does not present the target the ability to attempt an escape by normal means.

Hunter's Mark - Independent Special Action
Projecting their blood lust against their prey, the Hachiashi enters an extreme state of concentration against them, allowing them to land their attacks more precisely and deadly.

Rank 1/2/3: For 2 AP, the user chooses a single target. For the entire battle, the user gains +1 / +2 / +3 Accuracy and Awareness against that target.

Notes:
- If the user attacks another target (excluding attacks that can hit multiple targets, of which the chosen target must be one of them), the user loses the effects of Hunter's Mark and needs to re-apply the ability again. However, the user does not lose the effects if they were to attack a Clone, Barrier, or Bind created or affecting the chosen target.

Spiderling - D-Rank Non-elemental Ninjutsu
Unlike those who forge a contract, a Hachiashi has a natural connection with the arachnid world and can call upon their aid when needed.

Rank 1/2/3: Summons 1 / 2 / 3 Spiderling. Each Spiderling has HP equal to 3% of your maximum CP. You can assign each Spiderling to a target and whenever the designated target spends 4 / 3 / 2 AP at any point in battle, the Spiderling will attempt to bite the target, dealing basic attack damage.

Rank 1/2/3 Costs: 1.5 AP and 240 / 300 / 360 Chakra to initiate.

Notes:
- Treated as a Creation Jutsu.
- Has -4 of the user's secondaries.
- Re-using the jutsu re-summons the Spiderlings.
- Lasts for 30 seconds.

Refined Silk - Passive
These Hashiashi has evolved to the point that the unique silk that they produce can be used on various things and becomes much stronger than the usual Hashiachi's silk.

Rank 1/2/3: The Webbed debuff can now stack up to 2 times and may use their Silk Weaving twice (but not the same option twice) before going on cooldown. Additionally, they gain additional uses for their Silk Weaving:
  • Binding Jutsu: The user can expend up to 2% / 3% / 5% of their maximum CP to grants the Barrier Jutsu HP equal to the expended CP.
  • Called Shot: A successful Called Shot with Refined Silk automatically applies the Webbed effect.
  • Arena Jutsu: The user can expend up to 2% / 3% / 5% of their maximum CP to grants the Arena Jutsu HP equal to twice of the expended CP.

Notes:
- The target may remove the Webbed effect on themselves as normal, doing so costs additional 0.25 AP per stack after the first.
- If the Arena Jutsu does not possess HP, it gains HP as stated from the effect, otherwise it is added on top of the existing HP pool of the Arena Jutsu. An Arena possessing this additional HP has its escape attempts cost +50% (including AP) until this HP is removed and is not removed even if the jutsu's duration ends as long as it has existing HP.
- If the Binding Jutsu does not possess HP, it gains HP as stated from the effect, otherwise it is added on top of the existing HP pool of the Binding Jutsu. A Bind possessing has its escape attempts cost +50% (including AP) until this HP is removed. If an attack's damage exceeds the binding's HP, surplus damage may hit the target at normal accuracy.

Trap Spider Evolution - Passive
While a Hachiashi can call upon their allies into the battlefield, the Kumo-Tsukamaeru branch can call on specific variants of their friends to aid in their hunts.

Effect: When the user casts Spiderlings, they can choose the group to be of Scytodidae-variant or Ctenizidae-variant. In addition, their HP is now equal to 5% of the user's maximum CP.

Scytodidae - Spiders who excels in capturing their targets from afar by spitting out silk from the specialized glands.
  • Rank 1/2/3: The Spiderling's Ranged Accuracy is -3 / -2 / the same of the user's secondaries. Their attacks can now be used for Called Shot and if done so, it gains the effects of Refined Silk Called Shot.

Ctenizidae - Spiders who excels in ambushing their preys from their made-shift holes, lunging out in an attempt to drag their foes down under.
  • Rank 1/2/3: The Spiderling now enters combat under the effects of Rank 1 Inner Earth Reflection Lure. Their first attack each round, the Spiderlings will attempt to perform the Special Action - Double Decapitation at +1 / +2 / +3 Melee Accuracy against them and if successful in doing so, automatically deals basic damage to them and releases them after 2 seconds. The Spiderlings will then proceed to enter stealth at the end of each round for no cost.

Note:
- For the Ctenizidae-variant Spiderlings, if an attack deals more than 1080 damage in a single action, it exposes them and they continue to act as normal Spiderlings.
- In addition to the above notes, a target aware of the Ctenizidae-variant Spiderlings gains +3 Dodge against their attempts to pull them down under.

Spider's Lair - C-Rank Non-elemental Ninjutsu
Perhaps one of their scariest techniques, the Hachiashi can weave a giant spider web over the battlefield to entrap foes and quickly gain the upper hand for themselves and their allies.

Rank 1/2/3: Creates a Giant Spider Web with 1350 / 1685 / 2025 HP that attempts to trap up to 2 targets at -2 Accuracy. While in it, the user gains +3 Awareness against all those within the the web while the user's Spiderlings gains +2 Stealth. Any participant within the arena are inflicted with the Webbed Debuff whenever they spend 4 / 3 / 2 AP worth of actions, hits the web or fails to escape.

Cost: 1.5 AP and 500 / 625 / 750 Chakra to initiate, 50% of the initial Chakra Cost per round maintained.

Notes:
- May be used with Ranged or Ninjutsu Accuracy.
- This is an Arena Jutsu.
- You can only have 1 Spider's Lair active at a time, and may stack with other Hachiashi's Spider's Lair, increasing the total HP. Other Hachiashi players gains the benefits of this Jutsu while ignoring the penalties while within the web.
- Participants who successfully exits the arena while affected by the Webbed Debuff retains it.
- Unlike other arenas, all participants may still target others, regardless of which side of the arena they are.
- Any attacks that uses Melee Accuracy against any targets within the web are considered to be inside the web after the attack.
- An attack from that misses a target within the web automatically hits the web instead. The user, Spiderlings and other Hachiashi players are excluded from this, unless they willingly do so.
- A participant may attempt to escape the web by spending 1.5 AP with 15% chance of success. A target chosen by Hunter's Mark only gains +5% to their escape chance for each attempt whenever they fail to do so.

Shadow Spider - B-Rank Ninjutsu
The Hachiashi calls upon a large spider to land on their foes, squashing them beneath its powerful legs before delivering a monstrous bite against a a single unlucky prey.

Rank 1/2/3: A Shadow Spider lands down on up to 2 targets at -2 Accuracy, dealing 800 / 1000 / 1200 damage on hit. The Shadow Spider then proceeds to attempt to bite a random target among the initial targets, dealing the same damage again at +2 Accuracy. Alternatively, you can choose to call upon the Shadow Spider on your Spider's Lair in which it automatically deals 400 / 500 / 600 damage to the web and all participants within it (excluding you) and attempts to bite a random participant within the web for the full damage at +3 Accuracy.

Rank 1/2/3 Cost: 2.25 AP and 545 / 680 / 815 CP to initiate.

Notes:
- May use Ranged or Ninjutsu Accuracy.
- Has a 10 second cooldown between uses.

Death Orb Funnel - A-Rank Non-Elemental Ninjutsu
Perhaps one of the most beautiful yet terrifying techniques a Kumo-Tsukamaeru Hachiashi can execute. Continuously releasing fine silk and weaving it in a funnel pattern enough to engulf everyone and everything in their webs. Once they made their web, they proceed to constrict in order to quickly wrap everything in a large bundle of cocoon.

Rank 1/2/3: The user attempts to ensnare up to 2 / 3 / 4 targets at -3 / -2 / -1 Accuracy. All affected targets are considered bound within a giant silk cocoon with HP equal to 3960 / 4950 / 5940. All targets within the cocoon are considered as a single target and 20% of any damage dealt to the cocoon are dealt to all targets within. Alternatively, you may choose to use this with your Spider's Lair and in doing so, targets all participants within the web, except for the user and their Spiderlings, while other Hachiashi and their own Spiderlings gain a +2 Dodge against this technique. The Spider's Lair's remaining HP is added to the silk cocoon's HP.

Costs: 3 AP and 2200 / 2750 / 3300 Chakra to initiate.

Notes:
- May use Ranged or Ninjutsu Accuracy.
- This is a Binding Jutsu. Any attack directed towards the targets bound or attacks that attempts to hit a target outside will instead be re-directed at the Dearth Orb Funnel. It is immune to Genjutsu and Illusionary Damage.
- While it is a Binding Jutsu, all targets within can perform actions as normal, but is unable to escape until the cocoon's HP is reduced to 0.
- 30% of the damage dealt to the cocoon are dealt to all targets within instead if it is made by the user's attacks as well as any Spiderlings and other Hachiashi's attacks.
- May be used only once every 30 seconds.

Predatory Weaving - Passive
These Hashiashi has evolved to the point that the unique silk that they produce becomes far deadlier. A single strand can easily cut through steel or even become barbed in a such a way that it becomes painful to those caught in the webs.

Rank 1/2/3: You gain the Silk Strand option for your Silk Weaving. In addition, you gain the following enhanced effects:
  • Applying Silk Weaving to their Projectile, Thrown or Puppet Weapon now applies maximum damage bonus at once and further grants it +1 / +2 Critical at Rank 2 /3.
  • Applying Armor causes all Melee Attacks against you to deal damage to the attacker equal to 3% / 4% / 5% of the current Temporary HP. You also gain +10% Damage Reduction while your Armor is active.
  • Silk Strand: You setup a Silk Strand, up to a maximum of to 1 / 2 /3. A Silk Strand can be used for the following:
    • Can be used as an alternative instead of a Kawarimi Target for the Body Switch Technique and does not impose a dodge penalty to the user if done so.
    • Can be used when the user performs a Projectile, Thrown or Puppet Taijutsu or Basic Attack, the user may follow-up with another Taijutsu of the same damage type of lower rank. This is treated as a combo.

Notes:
- Damage dealt to the attacker via your Armor is applied first before the damage is applied to your Temporary HP.

Hunting Spider Evolution - Passive
While a Hachiashi can call upon their allies into the battlefield, the Kumo-Shuryō branch can call on specific variants of their friends to aid in their hunts.

Effect: When the user casts Spiderlings, they can choose the group to be of Salticidae-variant or Sparassidae-variant. In addition, their HP is now equal to 5% of the user's maximum CP.

Salticidae - Spiders who excels in quickly lunging at their preys with their powerful legs to deliver a fatal bite.
  • Rank 1/2/3: The Spiderling's Melee Accuracy is +1 / +2 / +3 of the user's secondaries. Their basic attacks uses both Ranged Accuracy and Melee Accuracy (rolled separately). If either roll is a hit, the attack hits. both rolls are a hit, the damage is dealt as a Critical Hit.

Sparassidae - Spiders who excels in quickly chasing down their prey with their unnatural speed to deliver swift strikes.
  • Rank 1/2/3: The Spiderling now attacks the target every 6 / 5 / 4 seconds in addition to the normal trigger condition.

Note:
- Both Spiderling-variants gains the bonuses from your Hunter's Mark.

Twin Fangs - Dependent Special Move
Wrapping their weapon with their silk and striking the target with such force that the hardened silk breaks off and painfully embeds itself on their prey's body.

Rank 1/2/3: When you hit with an attack with your Projectile, Thrown or Puppet Weapon that has Silk Weaving applied to it, you can choose to remove it and have it strike it again at +2 Accuracy, dealing 10% / 15% / 20% of the damage dealt and a 50% chance of inflicting a rank of Bleeding. A Webbed target takes 5% more damage and is automatically gains a rank of Bleeding, but also removes the Webbed debuff from them.

Notes:
- Bleeding chance is not affected by any other effects that would otherwise increase or decrease the chance.

Slingshot - B-Rank Variable Taijutsu
The Hachiashi performs a powerful downward strike against a target covered in their webbing, before flinging them upward with great force, sending them haplessly in the air.

Rank 1/2/3: Choose a target who is affected by Webbed, this deals 1500 / 1875 / 2250 damage at normal accuracy. On hit, the target is sent Airborne for 5 seconds. Alternatively, the user can choose an existing Spider's Lair, doing so will attempt all to hit all targets within the web and deal half of the damage to the web itself. Regardless of hit or miss, if used on the Spider's Lair, it will automatically send all targets within the web Airborne (excluding the user, other Hachiashi and Spiderlings).

Rank 1/2/3 Cost: 2.25 AP and 545 / 680 / 815 CP to initiate.

Notes:
- Uses Ranged Accuracy and only with Ranged, Thrown or Puppet Weapon.
- Removes all Webbed stacks against a target successfully struck by Slingshot.
- If there is an active Spider's Lair and target is already not within the Jutsu, then the target automatically lands within the arena once they fall from being Airborne.

Arachnophobia - A-Rank Buffing Taijutsu
The Hachiashi proceeds to exude an aura of intense blood lust and ferocity that stirs the primal fear of those around them, causing those who give in to the overpowering presence to cower in fear and become helpless against them while the Hachiashi themselves relishes for the incoming hunt.

Rank 1/2/3: For 30 seconds, all participants in battle must make a check against the user's Ranged Taijutsu using their Genjutsu Save. If a target fails this check, they are considered under the effects of Hunter's Mark and becomes Frightened of the user for the duration. In addition, the user gains an additional +1 / +2 / +3 AP for the entire duration of Arachnophobia.

Costs: 2.75 AP and 1650 / 2060 / 2475 Chakra to initiate; 50% of the initial Chakra Cost per round maintained.

Notes:
- Has a 30 second cooldown after each usage.
- Frightened causes the target to start their actions 1 second after the start of the round.
- Targets affected or unaffected by Arachnophobia must make a check every 10 seconds, gaining a +1 to their check if their HP is higher than the user's or a -1 if the user's HP is higher than the target.
- Bonus AP gained through Arachnophobia does not replenish each round, but you can carry over the Bonus AP to the next round. (If you carry over 1 AP to the next round and did not spent any of the Bonus AP, you carry over a total of 4 AP to the next round).

Launching a globule of silk on an unsuspecting prey, the Haschiashi quickly weaves it as it hardens, wrapping their foe around it and momentarily restraining them.

[b]Rank 1/2/3:[/b] Attempts to encase a target at -1 / 0 / +1 Accuracy and upon hit, the target's next action is delayed by 0.5 / 0.75 / 1 second(s). Once per round, if the target is [i]Webbed[/i], this gains +2 Accuracy and the target is instead bound for 1 / 1.5 / 2 seconds.

[b]Cost:[/b] 0.75 AP and 65 / 80 / 95 Chakra.

- May only be used with Ranged, Thrown or Puppet Weapon.
- A bound target cannot perform any actions that requires handseals and suffers -3 Dodge against the first attack against them.

Projecting their blood lust against their prey, the Hachiashi enters an extreme state of concentration against them, allowing them to land their attacks more precisely and deadly.

[b]Rank 1/2/3:[/b] For 2 AP, the user chooses a single target. For the entire battle, the user gains +1 / +2 / +3 Accuracy and Awareness against that target.

- If the user attacks another target [i](excluding attacks that can hit multiple targets, of which the chosen target must be one of them)[/i], the user loses the effects of [i]Hunter's Mark[/i] and needs to re-apply the ability again. However, the user does not lose the effects if they were to attack a [i]Clone[/i], [i]Barrier[/i], or [i]Bind[/i] created or affecting the chosen target.

Unlike those who forge a contract, a Hachiashi has a natural connection with the arachnid world and can call upon their aid when needed.

[b]Rank 1/2/3:[/b] Summons 1 / 2 / 3 [i]Spiderling[/i]. Each Spiderling has HP equal to 3% of your maximum CP. You can assign each Spiderling to a target and whenever the designated target spends 4 / 3 / 2 AP at any point in battle, the Spiderling will attempt to bite the target, dealing basic attack damage.

[b]Rank 1/2/3 Costs:[/b] 1.5 AP and 240 / 300 / 360 Chakra to initiate.

These Hashiashi has evolved to the point that the unique silk that they produce can be used on various things and becomes much stronger than the usual Hashiachi's silk.

[b]Rank 1/2/3:[/b] The [i]Webbed[/i] debuff can now stack up to 2 times and may use their [i]Silk Weaving[/i] twice [i](but not the same option twice)[/i] before going on cooldown. Additionally, they gain additional uses for their [i]Silk Weaving[/i]:
[list][*] [b]Binding Jutsu:[/b] The user can expend up to 2% / 3% / 5% of their maximum CP to grants the Barrier Jutsu HP equal to the expended CP.
[*] [b]Called Shot:[/b] A successful Called Shot with [i]Refined Silk[/i] automatically applies the [i]Webbed[/i] effect.
[*] [b]Arena Jutsu:[/b] The user can expend up to 2% / 3% / 5% of their maximum CP to grants the Arena Jutsu HP equal to twice of the expended CP.

- The target may remove the [i]Webbed[/i] effect on themselves as normal, doing so costs additional 0.25 AP per stack after the first.
- If the Arena Jutsu does not possess HP, it gains HP as stated from the effect, otherwise it is added on top of the existing HP pool of the Arena Jutsu. An Arena possessing this additional HP has its escape attempts cost +50% [i](including AP)[/i] until this HP is removed and is not removed even if the jutsu's duration ends as long as it has existing HP.
 - If the Binding Jutsu does not possess HP, it gains HP as stated from the effect, otherwise it is added on top of the existing HP pool of the Binding Jutsu. If an attack's damage exceeds the binding's HP, surplus damage may hit the target at normal accuracy.

While a Hachiashi can call upon their allies into the battlefield, the Kumo-Tsukamaeru branch can call on specific variants of their friends to aid in their hunts.

[b]Effect:[/b] When the user casts [i]Spiderlings[/i], they can choose the group to be of [i]Scytodidae[/i]-variant or [i]Ctenizidae[/i]-variant. In addition, their HP is now equal to 5% of the user's maximum CP.

[b]Scytodidae[/b] - Spiders who excels in capturing their targets from afar by spitting out silk from the specialized glands.[list]
[*][b]Rank 1/2/3:[/b] The Spiderling's Ranged Accuracy is -3 / -2 / the same of the user's secondaries. Their attacks can now be used for [i]Called Shot[/i] and if done so, it gains the effects of [i]Refined Silk[/i] Called Shot.[/list]

[b]Ctenizidae[/b] - Spiders who excels in ambushing their preys from their made-shift holes, lunging out in an attempt to drag their foes down under.[list]
[*][b]Rank 1/2/3:[/b] The Spiderling now enters combat under the effects of Rank 1 [url=https://ninpocho.com/viewtopic.php?p=723#p723][i]Inner Earth Reflection Lure[/i][/url]. Their first attack each round, the [i]Spiderlings[/i] will attempt to perform the Special Action - [i]Double Decapitation[/i] at +1 / +2 / +3 Melee Accuracy against them and if successful in doing so, automatically deals basic damage to them and releases them after 2 seconds. The [i]Spiderlings[/i] will then proceed to enter stealth at the end of each round for no cost.[/list]

[i]Note:[/i]
- For the [i]Ctenizidae[/i]-variant Spiderlings, if an attack deals more than 1080 damage in a single action, it exposes them and they continue to act as normal Spiderlings.
- In addition to the above notes, a target aware of the [i]Ctenizidae[/i]-variant Spiderlings gains +3 Dodge against their attempts to pull them down under.

[u][b]Spider's Lair[/b] - [i]C-Rank Non-elemental Ninjutsu[/i][/u]
Perhaps one of their scariest techniques, the Hachiashi can weave a giant spider web over the battlefield to entrap foes and quickly gain the upper hand for themselves and their allies.

[b]Rank 1/2/3:[/b] Creates a [i]Giant Spider Web[/i] with 1350 / 1685 / 2025 HP that attempts to trap up to 2 targets at -2 Accuracy. While in it, the user gains +3 Awareness against all those within the the web while the user's [i]Spiderlings[/i] gains +2 Stealth. Any participant within the arena are inflicted with the [i]Webbed[/i] Debuff whenever they spend 4 / 3 / 2 AP worth of actions, hits the web or fails to escape.

[b]Cost:[/b] 1.5 AP and 500 / 625 / 750 Chakra to initiate, 50% of the initial Chakra Cost per round maintained.

[i]Notes:[/i]  
- May be used with Ranged or Ninjutsu Accuracy.
- This is an Arena Jutsu.
- You can only have 1 [i]Spider's Lair[/i] active at a time, and may stack with other Hachiashi's [i]Spider's Lair[/i], increasing the total HP. Other Hachiashi players gains the benefits of this Jutsu while ignoring the penalties while within the web.
- Participants who successfully exits the arena while affected by the [i]Webbed[/i] Debuff retains it.
- Unlike other arenas, all participants may still target others, regardless of which side of the arena they are.
- Any attacks that uses Melee Accuracy against any targets within the web are considered to be inside the web after the attack.
- An attack from that misses a target within the web automatically hits the web instead. The user, Spiderlings and other Hachiashi players are excluded from this, unless they willingly do so.
- A participant may attempt to escape the web by spending 1.5 AP with 15% chance of success. A target chosen by [i]Hunter's Mark[/i] only gains +5% to their escape chance for each attempt whenever they fail to do so.

[u][b]Shadow Spider[/b] - [i]B-Rank Ninjutsu[/i][/u]
The Hachiashi calls upon a large spider to land on their foes, squashing them beneath its powerful legs before delivering a monstrous bite against a a single unlucky prey.

[b]Rank 1/2/3:[/b] A Shadow Spider lands down on up to 2 targets at -2 Accuracy, dealing 800 / 1000 / 1200 damage on hit. The Shadow Spider then proceeds to attempt to bite a random target among the initial targets, dealing the same damage again at +2 Accuracy. Alternatively, you can choose to call upon the Shadow Spider on your [i]Spider's Lair[/i] in which it automatically deals 400 / 500 / 600 damage to the web and all participants within it [i](excluding you)[/i] and attempts to bite a random participant within the web for the full damage at +3 Accuracy.

[u][b]Death Orb Funnel[/b] - [i]A-Rank Non-Elemental Ninjutsu[/i][/u]
Perhaps one of the most beautiful yet terrifying techniques a Kumo-Tsukamaeru Hachiashi can execute. Continuously releasing fine silk and weaving it in a funnel pattern enough to engulf everyone and everything in their webs. Once they made their web, they proceed to constrict in order to quickly wrap everything in a large bundle of cocoon.

[b]Rank 1/2/3:[/b] The user attempts to ensnare up to 2 / 3 / 4 targets at -3 / -2 / -1 Accuracy. All affected targets are considered bound within a giant silk cocoon with HP equal to 3960 / 4950 / 5940. All targets within the cocoon are considered as a single target and 20% of any damage dealt to the cocoon are dealt to all targets within. Alternatively, you may choose to use this with your [i]Spider's Lair[/i] and in doing so, targets all participants within the web, except for the user and their [i]Spiderlings[/i], while other Hachiashi and their own Spiderlings gain a +2 Dodge against this technique. The [i]Spider's Lair[/i]'s remaining HP is added to the silk cocoon's HP.

[u]Costs:[/u] 3 AP and 2200 / 2750 / 3300 Chakra to initiate.

[i]Notes:[/i]
- May use Ranged or Ninjutsu Accuracy.
- This is a Binding Jutsu. Any attack directed towards the targets bound or attacks that attempts to hit a target outside will instead be re-directed at the [i]Dearth Orb Funnel[/i]. It is immune to Genjutsu and Illusionary Damage.
- While it is a Binding Jutsu, all targets within can perform actions as normal, but is unable to escape until the cocoon's HP is reduced to 0.
- 30% of the damage dealt to the cocoon are dealt to all targets within instead if it is made by the user's attacks as well as any Spiderlings and other Hachiashi's attacks.
- May be used only once every 30 seconds.[/spoiler]

These Hashiashi has evolved to the point that the unique silk that they produce becomes far deadlier. A single strand can easily cut through steel or even become barbed in a such a way that it becomes painful to those caught in the webs.

[b]Rank 1/2/3:[/b] You gain the [b]Silk Strand[/b] option for your [i]Silk Weaving[/i]. In addition, you gain the following enhanced effects:[list]
[*] Applying [i]Silk Weaving[/i] to their [b]Projectile, Thrown or Puppet Weapon[/b] now applies maximum damage bonus at once and further grants it +1 / +2 Critical at Rank 2 /3.
[*] Applying [b]Armor[/b] causes all Melee Attacks against you to deal damage to the attacker equal to 3% / 4% / 5% of the current [i]Temporary HP[/i]. You also gain +10% Damage Reduction while your Armor is active.
[*] [b]Silk Strand:[/b] You setup a [i]Silk Strand[/i], up to a maximum of to 1 / 2 /3. A [i]Silk Strand[/i] can be used for the following:[list]

[*][b]Rank 1/2/3:[/b] The Spiderling's Melee Accuracy is +1 / +2 / +3 of the user's secondaries. Their basic attacks uses both Ranged Accuracy and Melee Accuracy [i](rolled separately)[/i]. If either roll is a hit, the attack hits. both rolls are a hit, the damage is dealt as a Critical Hit.[/list]

[b]Sparassidae[/b] - Spiders who excels in quickly chasing down their prey with their unnatural speed to deliver swift strikes.[list]
[*][b]Rank 1/2/3:[/b] The Spiderling now attacks the target every 6 / 5 / 4 seconds in addition to the normal trigger condition.[/list]

[u][b]Twin Fangs[/b] - [i]Dependent Special Move[/i][/u]
Wrapping their weapon with their silk and striking the target with such force that the hardened silk breaks off and painfully embeds itself on their prey's body.

[b]Rank 1/2/3:[/b] When you hit with an attack with your Projectile, Thrown or Puppet Weapon that has [i]Silk Weaving[/i] applied to it, you can choose to remove it and have it strike it again at +2 Accuracy, dealing 10% / 15% / 20% of the damage dealt and a 50% chance of inflicting a rank of Bleeding. A [i]Webbed[/i] target takes 5% more damage and is automatically gains a rank of Bleeding, but also removes the [i]Webbed[/i] debuff from them.

- Bleeding chance is not affected by any other effects that would otherwise increase or decrease the chance.

[u][b]Slingshot[/b] - [i]B-Rank Variable Taijutsu[/i][/u]
The Hachiashi performs a powerful downward strike against a target covered in their webbing, before flinging them upward with great force, sending them haplessly in the air.

[b]Rank 1/2/3:[/b] Choose a target who is affected by [i]Webbed[/i], this deals 1500 / 1875 / 2250 damage at normal accuracy. On hit, the target is sent [i]Airborne[/i] for 5 seconds. Alternatively, the user can choose an existing [i]Spider's Lair[/i], doing so will attempt all to hit all targets within the web and deal half of the damage to the web itself. Regardless of hit or miss, if used on the [i]Spider's Lair[/i], it will automatically send all targets within the web [i]Airborne[/i] [i](excluding the user, other Hachiashi and Spiderlings)[/i].

[b]Rank 1/2/3 Cost:[/b] 2.25 AP and 545 / 680 / 815 CP to initiate.

[i]Notes:[/i]
- Uses Ranged Accuracy and only with Ranged, Thrown or Puppet Weapon.
- Removes all [i]Webbed[/i] stacks against a target successfully struck by [i]Slingshot[/i].
- If there is an active [i]Spider's Lair[/i] and target is already not within the Jutsu, then the target automatically lands within the arena once they fall from being [i]Airborne[/i].

[u][b]Arachnophobia[/b] - [i]A-Rank Buffing Taijutsu[/i][/u]
The Hachiashi proceeds to exude an aura of intense blood lust and ferocity that stirs the primal fear of those around them, causing those who give in to the overpowering presence to cower in fear and become helpless against them while the Hachiashi themselves relishes for the incoming hunt.

[b]Rank 1/2/3:[/b] For 30 seconds, all participants in battle must make a check against the user's Ranged Taijutsu using their Genjutsu Save. If a target fails this check, they are considered under the effects of [i]Hunter's Mark[/i] and becomes [i]Frightened[/i] of the user for the duration. In addition, the user gains an additional +1 / +2 / +3 AP for the entire duration of [i]Arachnophobia[/i].

[u]Costs:[/u] 2.75 AP and 1650 / 2060 / 2475 Chakra to initiate; 50% of the initial Chakra Cost per round maintained.

[i]Notes:[/i]
- Has a 30 second cooldown after each usage.
- [i]Frightened[/i] causes the target to start their actions 1 second after the start of the round.
- Targets affected or unaffected by [i]Arachnophobia[/i] must make a check every 10 seconds, gaining a +1 to their check if their HP is higher than the user's or a -1 if the user's HP is higher than the target.
