Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

((Figured I would reuse the picture of the Hospital.))
Sogo_Hospital_at_15_years_ago.png

The first place Kurokawa ever visited after officially joining the Hidden Sands was the hospital. A dry warm day like any other, with a slight breeze just like this one. Back then she came for an initial health check and in the same breath she applied for the branch. Back then the teachers present at the time took up the mantle of checking her out. Now it was her turn. Kurokawa had been charged with testing out some new potential members of the branch and she had to figure out how best to do that.

A notice calling new aspiring doctors to the hospital was send out to the applicants with a time, a place and a footnote telling them to dress for work. No further specification were included. In the Hospital the set up would be in an auditorium with three tables at the bottom instead of the usual one table for the teacher. To find it one only had to follow a purple line on the floor. As one would enter the room from the upper level, or roof if that was ones mojo adn the location was known in more detail, there would be an overview of the place. The usual three scrolls to focus healing chakra for beginners would be on the tables rolled out. Spaced equally between them would be a cluster of barrels with water and live fish freshly delivered. A bit of a cliche when it came to medical training but practically a prerequisite.

In the room would also be two people. Kurokawa would have taken a place by one of the tables with a written test in front of her. She would be leaned in over the paper practically sleeping. Three more spots would be prepared just like that, though without a sleeping participant. At the bottom a blue haired woman, in a nurse uniform, with a clip board would away. Other than four names there would be a series of questions and a list of activities ready for today. All that was missing was three more participants ready for a bright future of medicine.

She knew where she had to be, she knew how late she had to be at the lessons, but her overly-long sleeping mother had failed to give her the note for the MiT class. Even when she woke and remembered it, the wily woman just had to play little tricks with her daughter before she gave the letter some five minutes before the lessons were about to start. In blind panic, Misaki had snatched the letter out of her mother's hands who was still reading it out aloud in slow pace. Grabbing the rice ball of a fellow priest, who yelled as he shook his fist, she ran through the streets of the Diamond District, up the building and jumping from building to building to take the shortest route possible. Eating along the road, she moved form the Diamond District towards the Medical Facility as fast as her young legs could possibly carry her.

She barged through the entrance, failing to introduce herself at the reception and state her reasons for visiting. and dashed through the hallways of the first floor much to the nurses' displeasure. She slid out of one hall into the other, opened the door towards the stairs as she didn't want to wait for the elevator, ran up the stairs until she reached the right floor, exited the stairs and dashed once more through the hallways until she ran straight into a doctor. The man was large and bulky, moving not in the slightest as the kid ran into him and bumped back into the floor. Confused, she looked up at the giant, light reflecting in his glasses. Misaki stood back up, dusted off her white and red priestess hakama, and bowed to apologise. The man nodded and chuckled softly as he mentioned he was fine.

"You'll find class at the end of the hallway"

Having thanked the doctor, Misaki sprinted the last couple of meters, stopping short in front of the door. Catching her breath, she made sure she looked presentable by dusting off her clothes off once more and brushing back her hair. Knocking on the door, she peeked in briefly before stepping inside and bowed apologetically to the people who were already there. She hoped she would not be too late, as explaining that her mother had forgotten about the letter and then played games with her about it was not quite what she felt like sharing as she doubted those not of the clan would not really appreciate the explanation.

"I hope I'm not too late..?"

[Topic Entered with NPC Akazukin and Hakuren]

Akazukin would be late as well, but her reasons are a bit more honorable and a routine reason at that. Hakuren over did it once again and fainted do to her anemia. Not having the time to carry Hakuren home to rest, she decides to take her to the hospital since that is where she is going anyways. These were the moments Akazukin with her canine friend was bigger, because she would gladly have him carry her. Instead she was force to take her and she does so using the pack-strap carry. It was a long walk from the gates to the hospital to be carrying someone, but someone had to do it and she has done it many times. So many times she swears the receptionist recognizes her.

Akazukin fills out the paperwork for Hakuren and helps carries her to her room so she could rest. Akazukin then makes her way down stairs to where the class would be held. Unknown to Akazukin her friend was following her in their own way. Seems Hakuren transferred her consciousness into the wolf at the last moment. Hakuren was all to experienced with her condition and can see warning signs of her about to lose consciousness. Hakuren has learned how to transfer herself moments before passing out.

“Sorry for my lateness, Hakuren fainted again.” Akazukin pretty much expected the nurse to know who Hakuren was do to the sheer number of time that girl has visited the hospital.

It seemed that 'Late' was the new 'Black' but the nurse waited patiently and nodded with a smile at the latecomers as they entered the auditorium. She would look at her clipboard and move a pen towards the area with names of possible participants. The room was lit by several lamps emitting white light meaning that anyone would come off as way more pale than they would outside. The usual hospital lights which some might find unsettling but if one wanted to be a medic it would be an everyday event to walk through halls and visit patients bathed in this kind of light during the evening. Of course as a field medic one would enjoy the natural light coming from the sun instead.

"Well it seems we won't be getting any more aspirants today but just in case I will get the formalities out of the way for the ones showing up giving the rest a chance to make a last minute entry. My name is Tara and I will be your initial initiator. First off I would like your names to confirm your arrival, and your reason or rather your motivation for wanting to join the medic squad."

The nurse would look in the general direction of the three people in the room turning her head slightly from side to side a few times without ever really gaining any eye contact with anyone in the room. Not that she could get it with Kurokawa if she tried, due to her being both blindfolded and seemingly sleeping like a baby but the other two did presumably have fully functioning eyes.

As the people in the room would speak Tara would wing them off and nod whilst taking notes. Any unusual answer would merit further examination but whether or not they would actually expand on their statement would be up to the Shinobi themselves. Tara was not here to push personal boundaries but essential information could become crucial in the event that something unexpected occurred and it would also prevent accidental insensitivity from suddenly flustering the newbies or creating a strained and tense environment which could reduce the entry to a bad memory never to be revisited.

The room made everything look eerily ghostly. The white light making everyone pallid like the dead, Misaki had to suppress the urge to pull big eyes as if pulling some scary ghost face. A thing quickly done as the woman in front of her, presumably her teacher looked all proper and disciplined in comparison to the chaotic nature of the kitsune she was. Her attention would quickly be drawn away as the door opened and a familiar face entered the room: her former sensei Akazukin. She flashed her a bright smile and waved at her.

"Hi Akazukin." ^^

Two tails would swish about happily before she'd return her focus to today's new teacher who asked for their attention as she spoke. The name of her new sensei would be Tara, who would be guiding the two of them, and possibly only the two of them, through the medical courses yet to be presented. But first, introductions were in order. Introductions that the kitsune had already somewhat come to do as she greeted the faces she was somewhat familiar with. All that remained was to introduce herself now.

"I'm Misaki Aikayume, genin of the Sand. I wanted to pick up Medical class because I'd like to help out Suna's society by alleviating their suffering. I also believe that gaining a deeper understanding of the human anatomy will not only be a great addition to my shinobi skills but might provide some insight to how the body, mind and spirit function in relation to each other." >:3

She would give a sage nod at her introduction, signing that she was done talking the ears off. The thirteen year old looking kitsune might mostly look like a cheeky brat not intending to take the world seriously at first glance, but her mind was generally more mature than she let on. She truly believed in the words she had spoken. She wanted to be able to heal the body of afflictions. But she also wanted to cure the souls of taint and demonic corruption. Cure society of a dangerous spiritually unbalancing plague

“I am Inugami Akazukin.” She would introduce herself while placing a hand on the left side of her as to draw attention to her unusual eye. She had noticed that the instructor failed to make proper eye contact so this was a maneuver to get her to make eye contact. Akazukin is a rather interesting individual possessing an extremely rare doujutsu called the Tokeigan or clock eye. As much as she is aware, she is the only human to possess such a strange doujutsu. The Tokeigan only changes one of a person’s eye and is always visible. Its appearance as one could guess by the name is a clock within an eye. What is really unusual about its appearance is the fact that it is a functioning clock, which tells the correct time. The eye gives the user the ability to look into the future and temporally step into it. However the distance into future is relatively short compared to science fiction novels. Akazukin can see and travel through time on a scale of a couple of minutes. Some would find her restricted vision and travel makes the power mute, but one can do interesting things by seeing events a minute ahead of time.

“And this is my canine companion Totoro.” The refers of a canine companion is often used with the Inuzuka clan, so it would be only natural to assume she is Inuzuka. True she does come from a family that has a long line of Inuzuka heritage, unfortunately she did not inherit any of it. She was still given a companion in hopes she with later develop the abilities, but it never happened. However despite her lack of the bloodline that does not change the fact that her wolf was bred and trained to be an Inuzuka companion. Totoro can perform some of the jutsu expected of him.

“I came here today to join the medical branch because I believe my talents in the temporal arts could be of some use to the branch.”

Tara would scribble something down whilst speaking out loud still not looking directly at anyone the room but also not looking at her papers.

"So one person with the research and world saviour angle and one who seems rather undecided. Being useful is something one can do in any aspect on the battle field. Likewise one can be useless even as a medic ninja. Very well, lets begin. Being a medical ninja means enemies will often target you to prevent prolonged fights with the rest of your team. As such you will need to be able to hold your own in combat and not just stay behind till needed. Remember to training in every way any other branch would in addition to medical training."

Now done scribbling down stuff on the clip board Tara would put it away in a drawer and wave her right hand from left to right in a circular motion to sort of reveal the already visible area.

"Take your places at either of the three tables here and get a fish. You then strike the fish as such. That will make it go limp from a stunning effect that will last til it suffocates. The goal is to use chakra to clear the status effect whilst making sure the fish does not die from oxygen deprivation. Once it wrickles you put it back in the barrel and catch a new one. The fish that don't make it will be today's lunch."

As she spoke she would snap a fish out of the water by grabbing it by the tail and pulling it out before it could escape. She would then strike it with a basic chop to the neck reduced in power to not outright kill the fish. She would then place it on the table and put both hands on it to pour in the chakra which the scroll would react to and amplify. within 10 seconds the fish would wrickle again and she would put it back in the water and wipe the water off the scroll so it wouldn't get soaked. For good measure she would then make some hand seals consistent with a fire jutsu and hold her hand out over the paper, which would cause the remaining water to evaporate.

"The scroll helps with focusing the energy which is necessary due to the level of precision needed. Once you get the hang of it to the point where it becomes second nature, you will no longer need the scrolls help."

Tara would then move to the side so that the tables were free and ready to be used. Kurokawa would continue to snooze it off over the papers on the table she was placed at, eventually even graduating to light snoring.

Hm. An odd exercise if you asked the kitsune. She wasn't sure which part exactly would be the hardest - catching the fish bare-handed, not killing it or getting it resuscitated in time. A pensive look would cross her face as she tried to figure out how to deal with this. Boiling the aquarium could work but that would just kill all the fish. Neither did she have a fishing pole to get one out. Her ears would flick at the challenge. This was a harder puzzle than she had expected. She'd try it. Bare-handed style. Eyes watching the movement of the peaceful fish, hands striking the waters to catch one. The fish would shoot away in all direction, no matter how small the aquarium may be. Several times again she'd try it, water splattering to all side in the process, before she triumphantly caught one.

Part two was about to begin. Strike the fish just so. Not too hard, not too soft. This wasn't as easy as the nurse had made it look. How much pain could a fish endure anyway before it was knocked out cold? Humans were so much easier, their pressure points remotely the same across all the bodies, but did fish even have those? The fish would flop restlessly in her hand, trying to get away and swim through open air in hopes to find water. She'd strike it. A moment it would go limp. Then it would start flopping again, as if it was trying to figure out what exactly was going on. A second strike. Limp again. Comically lulling its head to the side. Misaki wasn't sure if the fish was dead or just KO now, but now was the moment. Scroll, fish on scroll, chakra channelling! Warm hands would hover above the fish, Misaki's inherent katon nature giving off an embalming warmth, but the fish wouldn't return to live. In fact, the glistening of early rot was settling in and the smell of fried fish was starting to tease her nostrils. She puffed up her cheeks in mild annoyance. Her fish was dead, her second hit probably too hard.

Back to the drawing board.

Fish? Remotely check after the third strike. Strike? Probably good. Scroll? A-Ok. Fish on scroll, chakra channelling... Seconds ticking away, beads of perspiration, suspense to the point it could cut a paper in two. Fish flopping back to life! Ears would perk up, tails erect in joy that her endeavour had succeeded this time, almost forgetting that the water dweller required to be put back into the aquarium. Then, salvation, as fresh water embraced the revived fish, only to see it rise its belly and drift to the surface. Still a dead fish. Misaki sighed. Being a medic was hard work...

The fish that don't make it will be today's lunch the instructor say. Many would consider her morals bestial, but it was the ways her parents taught her. Members of the Inugami family did not eat food they did not kill and prepare themselves. There are only a couple of exceptions to this, but she would find none of those here. True some of the fish may very well be killed my her, but that would only be following the words of the tradition. But catching live fish from a barrel does not really honor the spirit of the tradition. If she was offered she she will refuse.

She points at the barrel which held the fish a gave a one word command “fetch” Personally she does not believe the instructor would care if she uses her wolf to get the fish. Retrieving the fish was not the main focus of the test. The test was to resuscitate it.

Hakuren was in control of Totoro and she has been in the mind of many animals. Most of the time she was passive and simply watch them go about their daily lives. Hakuren’s father use to tell her back when she was young and exploring her Yamanaka powers, ‘to enter into an entity is to know an entity. Through watching through its eyes and experiencing life as it does, you will begin to understand the nature of its existence.’ She has learned much watching through the eyes of a beast. LIke a cat the wolf raises a paw above the water and with a quick swipe a fish goes flying.

Akazukin catches it in mid-air but was a little surprised how her pet did that. Akazukin expected her pet to catch one by the tail and walk it over to her, but no matter. She quickly places the fish on the table before she drops it from it frantic wiggling. Once again she defers from the direction. Instead of physically striking the fish she points a finger at it and casts a storm bolt jutsu. She hold back as much as possible so instead of a lighting bolt arching form her fingers, it was just a static shock. The fish becomes stunned like if it was a person getting shocked by a taser.

Placing a hand over the fish the second hand in her clock eye spins backwards. Suddenly the fish starts floppy around again and she tosses it into the barrel.

As the students finished their first task Tara would walk upwards towards Kurokawa who was still sleeping.

"The fish exercise is about feeling the flow of healing energy more than simple succeeding in reawakening the fish. Most ninjas joining the medic squad these days already have considerable experience, either in the field or from training for a long time."

Tara would pull out a scroll and summon a sword. She would then point to the three other places with papers laid out with pens next to them.

"I have places the forms on the tables here. when you are done with the second half please fill them out and submit them at the reception desk on your way out. After that you can enjoy the rest of your day and know that you can now call yourself medical ninjas. Should the second half fail however, ignore the forms and instead use this scroll to get a third lesson."

Tara would place the scroll on one of the tables situated at the top ring of the auditorium and then walk back down to Kurokawa with the sword still in hand. Whilst standing next to her she would raise her voice as if to speak loud enough to wake the sleeper up so she could pay attention as well.

"In the battlefield you will be one of the most important wheels in the well oiled machine that is a ninja team. That means working together with others in all manners and tasks including healing if the need arises. You also need to face the reality that sometimes things go down in a grizzly way, leaving you in a messed up situation. It is important not to freeze up when encountering such situation."

Would then quickly hold the sword over her head and run it through Kurokawa, resulting in quite a lot of blood on the floor. It would run red from the wound and from Kurokawas mouth as the sudden sword to her lung would leave her gasping for air.

"Second half is healing your injured teammate. With the proper care she should not be in mortal danger from this kind of wound. Proceed."

Tara would then walk towards the door at the top of the auditorium as if nothing had happened in an attempt to walk out of the room.

The second test would be announced after an explanation of what being a medic was about. It was not the fun and bright part Misaki envisioned, but a duty to delve into gruesome situations and pretty much be the last straw of hope for others. Nerves of steel were needed, alert perception, quick reflexes. Misaki had most of that, wondering mostly if she'd freeze up or not when a situation called for action. An insight she lacked mostly because she had yet to end up in gruesome but survivable situations - her experience with Maru hardly counting as she had yet to enroll as a shinobi at that point, not to forget the insane speed and power these shinobi had been wielding at that point. It had taken a kage and an ANBU to take that demon puppet down.

But this was then and now was now. She'd have said there was a huge difference in power between the two moments, but her personality had not changed that much. It was to be seen if she had what it took. The teacher would proceed with the preparations. Taking up a blade, she'd hack through Kurokawa as if it was the most normal thing to do. A pierced lung, blood splattering on the floor. Misaki's eyes went big at the crazy nonchalance and blind trust the medics in training would be able to fix that. Spurred on by a sudden boost in adrenaline and worry, Misaki ran over to Kurokawa, starting by assessing the exact severity of the wound. Healing wasn't just about throwing in some chakra and hope things got patched, so her mother had told in a boisterous laugh when Misaki had proclaimed she'd be the best medic ever a couple of years ago. She'd throw a brief glance at Akazukin before she started to flow chakra through her hands. First things first... Numb the wound so the patient could breathe properly and regain control over their senses, and staunch the bleeding to prevent further blood loss.

She hoped Akazukin could join her to close the wound while the kitsune prevented further internal damage.

Akazukin watches as the instructor comes up to the sleeping shinobi expecting her to wake the girl up. However the woman’s words and actions said something more frightening was about to happen. As soon as the teacher pulls out a summoning scroll, Akazukin knew the sleeping fellow was in for an attack. Akazukin’s grandmother train her in the arts of a trapper and instinctively takes action before the attack. Akazukin would toss a talisman on the ground that would trigger upon the sleeping shinobi being attack. The trap was armed with a water prison jutsu.

The instructor tells them if they pass the next test, there in. If they failed they would have to take what Akazukin would gather was a remedial course. As the instructor continues to talk Akazukin throws out another talisman just in case she was wrong. This one contained a healing jutsu and was set to go off if the instructor was attacked. Akazukin assumes the teacher was going to strike to sleeping shinobi, but stabbing oneself was also an easy target. So incase the lesson was to heal the teacher, she got that covered.

Seems Akazukin’s initial assumptions were correct, but she never expected an attack to this scale. The sleeping shinobi would bleed heavy from such an attack. Depending on how nimble the teacher was she might not leave and easily as she thought she would as a wave of water bursts from a talisman and attempts to imprison her. “First step to healing on the battlefield is to eliminate or handle the threat. Hard to do healing while under attack.”

Akazukin then rips off one of her sleeves and gags the victim or at least that’s what it looks like. In truth she was preventing the woman from swallowing her own tongue. “Hold her still. Movement could cause further injury. As soon as the blade is out start healing; Coagulation if you know it.” Akazukin would then pull out the sword as straight as possible. After removal of the sword she would then point the sword at the blind girl and channel a jutsu through the weapon that would likely be pointless. The jutsu was Poison Extraction. Though she highly doubts the blade was poisoned, experience has taught her to always consider it a factor. If the stabbed woman was poison, it will float out of her body and into a small empty vial.

As Tara had finished her attack she suddenly found herself surrounded by water. Somewhat surprised she would move her head around as if to asses the situation.

"Ara. Good idea to first stabilize the situation before doing any medical work. You will do well once you finally get out there."

She would smile a little. Most people heard about the swallowing the tongue bit but what most would not know is that victims are far more likely to bite their tongue than for it to obstruct airways. For that part the gag would work perfectly however seeing as the main problem would be asphyxiation, the cloth would serve as a block leading the blood back down the windpipe. Also the way the tongue would become a problem would be if it was pushed on so the back of it would block off the air flow. The tongue would be too rigid for the tip to make a 180 turn and go down the throat.

"Well anyways, for administrative reasons I really must be off. Do you best."

As she said it she would seemingly vanish inside the water without a trace, as if she just dispersed. No hand seals were used either. Kurokawa had stopped coughing up blood, but as the sword was pulled out more would spill into the cloth. At least the pain was reduced and there was something to bite down on for the rest. As the two Shinobi worked on her to keep her alive they would notice her start to stabilize, little by little eventually appearing out of mortal danger. Her bleeding level would be reduced to the minimum and her breathing would slow down but be less hindered.

Akazukin would gag the victim to make sure he couldn't bite off his tongue, making sure that choking in the process of healing wouldn't occur. Likewise, as Misaki focused on reducing the pain by numbing the senses, Akazukin pulled out the sword. With the area of the wound numbed, the patient would barely feel the pain that came with it but the blood would now gush out as well. Under Akazukin's suggestion, the kitsune changed the purpose of her chakra from numbing to coagulation. Slowly but steadily the bleeding would come to a halt, a sense of peace returned.

The Medic Sensei would not be able to assess the situation, having disappeared from sight without the slightest of sounds other than her mentioning she had an administrative reason. Though it was a matter of finishing the healing procedure now, Misaki wondered if this meant they had passed and didn't need to do the third trial. Or would the sensei return soon after to verify if everything was done well? No matter, not fully done healing just yet, they would now have to close the wound now that the bleeding had so much as stopped. Changing the purpose of chakra again, Misaki would spread the embalming warmth of her katon chakra to knit the wound together progressively and patch up the last bit of the man under Akazukin's watchful gaze.

"Since sensei left, do you think we'll have passed the test?", she'd ask Akazukin during the healing process, eyes and hands still fixated on closing the wound.

Akazukin simply smiles at the instructors words as she praise her. Akazukin had a feeling that the instructor would approve of such tactics. In her times of a child she did learn the basics of first aid though it was mostly for treating herself and others during hunting expeditions. The first step to first aid is to assess; to make sure the is safe for you to approach and help. In this hypothetical situation it was not safe and thus she had two options. Move the body to a safe place or make it safe to begin aid. Moving the body was not really an option so she naturally chose the latter.

It seems the blade was in fact not poison, which meant Hakuren wasted her charka out of being cautious. With instructor giving them such a task and saying that doing this would allow them to skip lesson three, she figured there was a possibility that the instructor would add a little something to slip them up.

Though there was something bothering Akazukin. This person that they were healing did not participate in the first lesson, but the teacher still went onto the next lesson. Now they were healing the blind shinobi and again the girl was not really participating in that lesson either. Something seems fishy but perhaps she could use this to help the current lesson. “Come on girl” Akazukin would pats the injured shinobi on the shoulder to get her attention. “You came her to become a med-nin like us right? Heal yourself some. If you don’t participate you’re going to have to take the third lesson.”

Re: Health is a matter of perspective. [CLASS, MiT Thread]

As Kurokawa was asked to participate in her own recovery she would smile a bit. It took quite a few of her precautions to fool them so far.

"Very well then."

She would form a few hand seals and place her hands on the blood on the floor. As if she was a hover she would draw it all in from around the place and rush it over her skin towards the wound which would slowly disappear leaving only a miniscule cut mark.

"Lessen number three. things aren't always what they look like. I figured you would be less receptive if someone seemingly younger or only slightly older than yourself so I added the guise of a teacher and left a version of myself as a blood clone to give off the right scent, heartbeat and so on. I swapped between it and myself before I stabbed me but I didn't expect that I had to call on one of my other elemental clones in order to get my instructor dummy out of there. Nice water prison. Meant I had to swap clones otherwise there would be blood left in the water."

Kurokawa would sit herself on the table. The others would definitely have noticed that the instructor never really seemed to lock eyes with anyone and now it was revealed that he reason was blindness. Before she spoke again Kurokawa would bow her head to the two new recruits.

"I apologize for the deception. I know I have an odd way of doing things. Anyway, you act quickly without getting stunned by surprise. You worked together despite not knowing each other well. You covered all bases, from stabilizing the situation, to checking for poison and even numbed up your patient before removing the foreign object from them. You succeeded in healing me back without me having to blow my cover or make use of my passive healing ability, so you definitely pass. Welcome to the Medic squad. All of Suna will one day rely on your life saving treatments. From now on study hard and do your best."

Completely confused. Blood clones, elemental clones. Trickery and deception, all of them mingled in a medic class room. Not a single puff of smoke, not a single hand seal. And it wasn't genjutsu either or Misaki would have known. She wasn't sure why all of this was needed to practise healing, nor even fully grasped the reasoning behind age being an important factor for a teacher. The spiritually attuned kitsune cared little for age as wisdom was inherent to the soul and not the body. Plus, in the age of shinobi a thirteen year old could be far more dangerous than an adult of 30 years. Maybe Misaki simply wasn't experienced enough to grasp the necessity of this all, making her feel grateful Akazukin was around to deal with all the sensei level stuff. Still, the teacher with the odd ways seemed content the way the two of them had handled things. Progressively, checking on a variety of things. Even if most of those had been done by Akazukin it was a very enriching experience for the two-tailed genin sitting in the middle of them.

Welcome to the medic squad.

Those were words she could smile brightly at, tails a-wagging contently. The serious tone of responsibility that followed it up then making her smiling sheepishly. She knew that... She just didn't want to think about it since that suddenly made the whole medic squad so much heavier to bear. It's like she had to be responsible and careful now. An adult. Such terrifying and brooding things were not quite the things she was looking forward too, preferring an air-headed approach while she helped out whoever she could with healing, advice and spiritual treatments.

...

Thinking about it. That sounded rather mature already...

Better not to linger on it! With the wounds having healed and the test having passed, Misaki stood up and stretched. She had still a ways to go before she became the talented medic Akazukin had proven to be but with official graduation she could finally start learning in a proper way.

"Thank you for the lesson, sensei. When next I need to heal you, don't play such tricks on me, okay?", she'd say, waving at the two of them as she made her way towards the door. The day was still young, but there was a lot more of chores awaiting her at home still.

Akazukin was not surprised with the shinobi’s reveal. At the end of that second lesson she was able to put the pieces together, but did not feel the need to say it out loud. Happily the two of them past and were now med-nin. However something the blind med-nin said raised a question. “Things aren't always what they look like is the third lesson? Really? Does that mean even if we failed this second lesson; go into a panic and stuff, you would have revealed us your deceit and still make us medical ninja?” Perhaps there were a fourth lesson or perhaps it really was that easy to join the medical field. Akazukin did not really stay for the answer and took one of the forms. She fills them out as she walks her way to the receptionist.
