Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Juzo enjoyed simple things in life. The small room he had for himself was tucked away, outside of the Medical facility. The tunnel that led to it had an entrance that opened up near the facility. For one adept with the earth element, like Juzo, it was relatively easy to mold a bit of tunnel to connect it to a small trapdoor in one of the random service closets in the building. It provided privacy and a very commendable level of noise cancellation. In his dimly lit room he examined a few scrolls with notes he had scribbled in haste. "Right... right. Correct."

".............."

The shinobi paused and tried to think about how long he had been in isolation. Can't have been long but it was impossible to tell. Without access to sunlight and no working clocks inside his private quarters time became even more meaningless. If he had been worried in any way then he would have figured out some fool proof way to measure time for himself. But what was the point? Didn't help his research in any way so he discarded the notion entirely. Little did he know he had been away for quite some time.....

The few scrolls he had kept close for months he took into his hands and placed onto a seal on the floor. With a few handseals he sealed them away to a safe place where he could retrieve them later. And from there he dusted off his outfit and headed out the door into the tunnel. It wasn't a long a trip but it would take moment before he was back in the villages normal boundaries.

The small tunnel between his private room and the utility closet in the Medical complex was not long but the med-nin did keep it collapsed when he didn't want to be bothered. This served as an excellent noise dampener. But once he cleared the tunnel with some earth chakra manipulation he soon heard a cacophony of sounds emanating from above. It sounded as if the village was under attack. It didn't worry Juzo. The village was always in some manner of distress. In fact, if it wasn't, then he would have probably been under a lot more scrutiny for most of his life. For now the jounin-level medic sealed his tunnel behind him and stepped into the Medical Complex through the utility closet. A few passes with the back of his hand removed all the debris from his robes and then he was moving down a hallway like it was a normal day. Soon enough he slipped out a side door and into the main part of the village. He'd catch up on what he'd missed and then go about requesting a special mission. He needed supplies from outside the village and it was the best way to get access to them, legally.

Plus the extra mission had its own purpose. He needed liver samples from a few different shinobi. "I wonder how Mr. Kazekage-Steward has been....."

The man who inhabited these isolated quarters slipped in silently. There was no one to greet and he didn't wish others to know about this place. Once inside he reviewed what he had seen outside in the village. A lot of destruction like usual. It made him really doubt the security of the village. Perhaps the ANBU were not doing their job properly. Judging by the fact that the village had active missing-nin reinforced that view point. For now he signed and dropped into a desk. The draw crept open and revealed a scroll and some ink. Juzo removed the tools and began to write. For now it was just some short notes on the state of the village. Mostly stuff for himself. While doing so he used his usual cipher which he had developed himself. Being the cautious sort of man he was he knew that secrecy, even with mundane information, was a good practice. Less mistakes resulted in fewer injuries. A lesson which he had been quick to learn during his childhood training.

"To the right and up one," the med-nin muttered to himself as he finished the strangely written note. It was almost a normal reflex at this point in his life and he barely saw his cipher anymore. It was more like another language which he had learned. One day soon he would need to send out some messages to his contacts in other villages and the complex code would help shield himself and his village. THat was if it was needed anyway. So far he had practiced and researched in relative secrecy to great success. The shadows were what he was suited for and he meant to keep it that way. For now he needed to check on a few of his bacterial experiments, among other things.

"Hey!" he yelled into the darkness of a nearby hallway. Where did his assistant go? The man stood and headed into the darkness. He would get to the bottom of this.

Sitting at his desk he wrote out a short note and sent it to his families home. It told his son to do well in the academy and he wouldn't be able to visit. From there he began to open file after file, scroll after scroll until his room was littered in paper. The closet had been converted into food storage and he had plans for another extended stay. He had a lot of research to finish still and he wasn't sure if he had enough time for it all. But there wasn't time to despair he told himself. "But what about....."

His hands shuffled through papers, searching for something. It would be a long time before he emerged from his little hidey-hole. It provided quiet as well as privacy while he conducted his research.
