Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Today was a class on following orders, and the importance of doing so. The teacher sat at his desk a book in hand, reading silently while his legs were kicked up on the desk for a more comfortable sitting position. His eyes scanned from right to left behind is glasses. A page would turn and the process would start over once again.

Behind him on the chalkboard read large words.

"Class will start soon, please sit quietly amongst yourselves."

It was just a matter of time for the students to file in and begin their learning for the day.

Kunashi gathered his things from his house and put them in his backpack, leaving any weapons he had behind. This was, after all, a class in the Aurora Eruditio, not an A-rank Mission. Holstering some pencils in his pockets, he made his way to his door. After a little bit of a hike to his destination, he found himself out the doors to the academy. Opening the doors, he found himself a bit lost as to where to go. Wandering the halls a bit, he found an open door. Reaching the door he peered inside, finding a man with glasses reading a book with his legs propped up on his desk. Behind him read "Class will start soon, please sit quietly amongst yourselves." Following the board's orders, Kunashi sat down in a center seat in the second row. He had drawn one of his pencils and began doodling in his notebook, waiting for his sensei to speak up.

Randori had been up for a few hours before deciding to get ready to go to class, which was rare for him to be up before he had to be. He threw his massive sword over onto his back, making sure adjust it so it doesn't drag along the ground, since it was now a habit to bring his weapon along with him. Not bothering to grab a pencil or paper as he exited the school's dorms, he quickly made his way to the general area of where the classroom was. Guessing what room it was, at first he guessed incorrectly and entered an empty classroom, sighing as he exited. The second guess was correct, and as he entered he noticed that it was very silent. He saw that the teacher was busy reading a book, so he didn't bother bowing. Not even noticing the other student that was in the class, Randori simply walked to the back corner of the room, took his sword off his back, laying it in front of him, and sat down waiting for class to begin.

Mr. Hashido looked up from his book for a moment, a bit puzzles with the lack of students entering his class. The most important part of being a shinobi was following orders as literally as possible. That way if something went wrong you could blame it on those who gave you the orders.

He decided to wait a bit longer, thinking that perhaps people might come in later so they wouldn't miss the lesson.

Kai had nothing really better to do so she figured she'd go to a class. As she entered she could see it was deserted, save for the sensei. Though he was reading so her eyes scanned behind him and saw that it said I take you seat when you came in. Kai raised an eyebrow in question but didn't delve further. With her finger twirling through her hair she made her way to the back of the room. She sat in her normal position, left leg foot rested on the seat while her right leg dangled off the side and let her left hand rest on her left knee. She waited for a few minutes, surveying the sensei before someone else walked into the class. It was a boy with quite a big sword. "Little boys shouldn't carry big swords." She whispered as u he could hear her all the way down there and if he do he seemed not to care.

"Ou, Sensei how any students must be present before we can start? Also which book are you reading." She said in a louder voice so that he could hear her but would have y pay attention to know what she said. She was really interest in he book but could care less about the students.

The sensei's expression turned sour as he slowly looked up from his book. Whoever this child was, was an idiot. Folding the book closed, he looked up to her and shook his head.

"You may leave the class now... or zip those lips for the rest of the class. You have already failed the class before it has even begun! The rest of you. Do the opposite of this baka. In fact, silence even your thoughts. Think about her transgression and how you can learn for it. Write down what you have learned and bring it up to me. Then return to your seat and wait for further instruction."

And with that, Mr. Hashido returned to his seat and picked up his book once again.

While sitting in the classroom, Kunashi witnessed two more students walk in. The first, a girl, walking in twisting her hair. The second, another boy with a sword the size of his body slung over his back. He watched them as they entered, but then returned his attention to the front of the class. He jumped slightly at the metallic sound the sword made when the boy dropped it. As he turned and looked at him briefly, he heard the girl pipe up from the back of the room.

"Ou, Sensei how any students must be present before we can start? Also which book are you reading."

Surprised, he turned to the proctor at the front of the class, waiting for his reaction to the direct defiance of the orders he had written on the board. As expected, he was not amused. Kunashi watched as he folded his book closed, and shook his head.

Kunashi's eyes opened widely. He wasn't surprised at the outcome. Truthfully, Kunashi would have said he was impressed with the proctor's adherence to his rules. He didn't expect much leeway in a class about following orders, however. Luckily, Kunashi was ready with his notebook, and flipped to a page that wasn't blackened by his doodles. Following his sensei's orders, he wrote down what he had learned.

  1. Orders are meant to be followed. Anything that strays from them are wrong.
  2. Not following orders is dangerous and comes with consequences.
  3. When a boss tells you to do something, you do it, whether you want to or not.
  4. If we were on a mission, she would have failed and the client would have been angry.
  5. If you have to break the rules, don't be caught, or expect consequences.

Kunashi put his pencil down and looked up at the teacher. He had answered the prompt to the best of his ability, but he still wasn't sure what if his answers were what his proctor was looking for, but as long as he did not stray from his orders, he expected to be fine. He tore the page neatly out of his notebook and walked up to the front desk. Looking the professor in the face, he slid the paper towards him. He returned to his seat, flipping back to his drawings. He pencil returned to his rudimentary shuriken, blackening in the points of the poorly drawn weapon.

Randori heard the girl's remark as he entered the classroom, glaring at her as he made his way to the back of the room. When he heard what the sensei had said, he snickered since the girl had just been told to leave. Yet his fun didn't last long as he was instructed to write what he had learned from this scenario down on a piece of paper and hand it in. He had neither paper, nor pencil to do this. He quickly looked around for something he may be able to use to write with, finding a pen on the floor which was still useable. But he couldn't find paper, so he grabbed his sword and quickly carved a little wood from the floor. Using the pen he had found, he wrote "I learned that I should always follow orders, no matter what I need to do to do this. If I fail to do this, I will be banished." Most of this was from the fact he had to carve off a piece of the floor to do this, and after he finished writing, he quickly walked up to the front of the room and hand the sensei his piece of wood. As he walked back, he looked at the floor, which now had a long line of white on it due to being carved, he hoped nobody would notice that he did this until the class ended and he could leave.

Unlike most of the idealistic sensei of the academy, Mr. Hashido did not enjoy his job. It was all to often that he met unruly children and it had made him sour. Thankfully he had one baka who was foolish enough to speak up and that go the others busy like good little worker bees.

A piece of paper... and a plank of wood. He was about to chew out the boy who scribbled on a piece of the floor before thinking back to what he said. He cursed himself with a glare, acknowledging he never told the students specifically how to write out their responses.

Kunashi's response were proper and too the point, all in all, a perfect response. Whether or not it was done purposefully, they answers appeared to be thought through critically. That was essential to being a shinobi. Critical thinking was very important. Randori's on the other hand... it could have used improvement, especially with the logic. The rest of the faceless little demons all had varying answers.

Mr. Hashido finished reading and quickly stood up to write on the board. "I'm going to summarize how orders work in our little army of death machines. If you don't follow your orders, it's likely you will die because your superiors usually have more knowledge than you do. If you run from an objective, you'll be hunted down for desertion and likely be killed. Lastly, if you punks don't listen to what people say, then how are you going to save all the pretty princes and princesses? The golden rule is this. Obey your orders to the T. Do not deviate. If something goes wrong, and you followed your orders, you will not be held responsible. It will be those who gave you the orders who will be at fault."

He concluded, writing the golden rule up on the board. "Memorize it. Apply to every situation in your life. Become the good little soldiers you signed up to be."

"Now get out of here. If you didn't open your mouth, you passed the class. If you did... well better luck next time."

As he jotted down notes on what the sensei had said, he quickly realized the gravity of the situation. As Mr. Hashido had just said, shinobi who don't follow orders will likely die. When he had written down his responses, the 'consequences' Kunashi mentioned were more along the lines of punishments, but it turned out that the consequences were much more severe in the 'stern talking to's' that Kunashi had imagined. After writing down Mr. Hashido's golden rule for future reference, he closed his notebook and slipped it into his backpack. Quietly slipping his backpack on and reholstering his pencil in his pocket, he squeezed his way past the other students whom he didn't know and made his way to the door. Respectfully, he turned to Mr. Hashido and bowed. This class had been mostly common sense to Kunashi, but it helped him understand some of the realities that shinobi had to manage, such as their lives constantly being on the line from multiple sources. With that, he turned to walk out the door. He would probably go and train some more, as this class hadn't taken up much time at all and the day was still young.

Randori raised eyebrow after the class was dismissed, confused as to why it had been so short. Shrugging, he figured it would just mean more time for him to train for today. Standing up, he threw his sword back onto his back and made his way for the door. He would've forgotten to bow to the teacher if the boy in front hadn't stopped to do so, so he did it right before he left and began sprinting right when he made it out of the door, planning on going straight for the forest to train all day.

[OOC: Topic left, thanks :)]

Kai was speechless for a moment with the schocl, before she understood what the sensei had been aiming for. She watched the rest of the class as they wrote their responses. One even used a piece of the floor to write on. She smirked, glad to be able to be a test monkey for the class. Though she could say she was less enthusiastic about being a 'little solder' for the council to play with but she guessed some other peoples ideals were quite sane, but she was alright being a little insane or a lot, whichever came first.

As she gathered her things after she finished writing the rule down, as it did still apply to her, she made her way to the bottom of the room. She bit back a perfect remark aim at her sensei, some people did not need her prodigal brain wasted on. She did know that this would not be the first nor the last time she saw her sensei, though she did have some hope that the next encounter would be slightly better than this one encounter.
