It had been a few months since his fight in the arena. He didn’t realise he had been fighting the friggin Hokage then. All the while being promised protection and sanctuary inside the village, and yet the village he was running from was granted access and all sorts. In a way he felt… betrayal? Fear? He couldn’t even seem to find his sister in all this.
As Sunuke looked around in the slums, he felt a little sad and disappointed about the decisions he made. Had he stayed in the village outside of Kumogakure maybe none of this would have happened. Maybe Yuii wouldn’t have to feel guilty about housing a missing-nin in her village, or lying to the Raikage. Maybe this could have just been avoided.
Hiding in an abandoned house, the Nanjirou placed his sheath down, and set the sword to guard the area. He would meditate in the building, keeping quiet as he would try and work out an actual plan of doing something now that his new and old home were now seeming to be working together… but they wouldn’t get him.
No, he was going to hide in the slums, and wait for them to find him, or for death to find him and take him away. Either way he wasn’t going to go without a fight.
Until then he would meditate, and wait for whatever to happen… to happen.
