Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Descending down into Arcadia for the first time was always a little strange, at first it was so dark you couldn't see anything. But then once your eyes adjusted things became a little more clear, so true that was. Her search for the Dragon had failed on the surface. There weren't any dragons in the ocean above, but just maybe in this realm of darkness where the shadows ruled...She could find one? Supposedly there was a 'sea' down here as well, but the heat was the first thing that struck Juroyo as strange. This sort of sulfur-y, hot smell, like boiled eggs. That was kind of gross but she'd gotten down here after sneaking and dodging her way so who was gonna stop her now?

The important thing was, that she made it. It was weird riding an elevator down here with a bunch of strange people. Some of them had oddly colored hair like her, it was reassuring in a way even if it made her nervous. But no-one minded her as they were briefly illuminated by artificial lights, only to be cast into shadow again and illuminated once more in a seemingly never ending cycle until FINALLY she laid eyes on what she had come to see.

A vast void of black water, nosily sloshing up against a stone pier where the lantern boat rentals sat, jostling together with the unseen tide. She'd brought her fishing pole, it was the only thing she needed! Er...Besides the picnic basket she'd filled with chilled noodles and cold drinks but anyway! She strode boldly out of the lift as everyone dispersed probably to never see each other again. However Juroyo headed for the edge of the pier and handed an old man his rental fee before picking a boat that had a fairly nice lantern on it, and the oil was full. It's bow had a bull's head carved into it, it seemed like a good pick.

So she picks up one of the poles and unties the skiff from its line and pushes off, waving good bye to the old man because she can be nice /sometimes/. Plus he was the only one who'd rent her a boat probably, so he deserved a little wave. But never mind that, she was out to find that dragon! One way or another she was going to catch one even if it killed her!

With this confidence she steadied her balance and kept her boat moving with one slow push at a time, it was a surprisingly heavy device in this water. But within about thirty minutes or so she'd gotten pretty far away from the shore with her steady pushing and decided to haul the pole back into the boat. Juroyo then sits down and gets her fishing rod, piercing a writhing worm on it's hook before hauling back and casting the line into the black waters.

It was hard to deny the icy chill that crept upon her skin. Looking down at the nothingness that her glinting lure had descended down into. But she knew that if there were ever a likely place for a Dragon to live. It was in this grim sea, where it could curl and twist under the slick waves without being seen.

It vanished into the depths and she held still, the Dragon would find her worm. It would /know/ she wanted to fight it!
