Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

That little adventure with the storm wasn't going to leave him be any time soon that was for sure. His entire body was in pain, heck he even felt pain in placed he didn't even know existed in the first place. His arm was all but burned to a crisp and every movement was a rather annoying thing, because of the sheer pain it brought. It wasn't something that special, but he did have an idea of how to fix this. Takehiko had heard stories of the so-called Nimbus Spring, a place which apparently helped heal injuries much faster. That place wasn't too far from where he had landed and if those rumors were true then it was worth a go.

The AiT pushed himself up, picking his icebox up as he tried not to hunch over in pain. The first few steps really were always the hardest when you were injured. If you could just get past those it got much easier as you got more used to the pain, something he had no trouble with. He was going to reach that monastery in about an hour or so, but that was if he was walking normally. How long it would take in this state he really didn't know. No matter. Hopefully he'd come out of it like a new man! Then again stories like this were quite often quite exaggerated, but hey he wasn't one to be pessimistic, after all at the very least he would have a nice bath and see those carvings.

Takehiko had lived in Kumo for quite a while now and it was getting somewhat embarrassing for him not to have visited the monastery of Raiden. Many said that the view there was breathtaking, but then again a lot of people never actually reach it. The path that goes to it is rather hard to transverse and he wasn't really sure he himself would be able to make it. There was only one way to really find out and that was going to happen sooner rather than later.

**

His prediction really was right. It has been a good two hours by now and he was just about halfway up the treacherous path and at this rate it would be a good hour before he reached the spring. Hopefully all this would be worth the trouble, because this was a rather painful endeavor. Sure he could move absolutely normally with the exception of his right forearm and hand, but the pain was really slowing him down. Ah well there was really nothing he could do about it. His medical skills were useless to say the least and at least the flower he almost died for was safe for a good half a day before he needed to hand it in and get that over with.

There wasn't anything to keep him really. Nothing at all.

**

Finally after almost falling to his death quite a few times the Nimbus Spring was just ahead. Now it was time to test whether these waters really had any sort of healing properties or not. Was the rumor just an exaggeration or was it real?

'And go!' The thought and jumped into the water. The stinging from it was close to unbearable, but in the end it was for the best. His wounds were open and he had been walking for hours, so sweat and dust had already managed to get deep into each and every one of them. Heck even after doing this it would be quite the feat not to get any infections at all, but he had to say as painful as this was it was somewhat well relaxing. It really was no surprise at all that he dozed off.

How long he was out of or what time it was he didn't really know, but when he woke up he felt something on his chest. Takehiko rubbed his eyes and looked down only to see a rather large while mouse. It was a weird creature for sure. What animal would just walk ontop of someone like that. Well nothing can be done really he could only shoo it off. There was something strange about the creature though. It was breathing rather hard and wasn't moving at all. Maybe it wouldn't hurt to take a bit of a closer look. Take carefully looked over the creature and noticed it was bleeding. It had probably got in a fight with another animal or just escaped a predator, but it didn't seem like it was going to survive. The wound seemed to be rather big and the creature already seemed to be rather weak. It wasn't even trying to move from Takehikos' hands.

The AiT wasn't one to take pitty on anyone or anything really, but that didn't mean he was cruel. This was probably going to end up biting him in the backside but hey he couldn't just leave the poor creature like that. Take quickly channeled chakra into his hand as it began to glow in a bright green. He could feel the mouse trembling in fear and the heat slowly leaving its' body. 'Poor thing' He thought and channeled more and more chakra as the bleeding stopped, completely sealing the wound. Takehiko by far wasn't a medical ninja, but there were some minor techniques he could perform and in this case this was enough. Sure the creature had lost blood, but it was probably going to survive so there was only one thing he could really do.

The young man scooped the critter from his chest and placed it on the ground next to the large pool of water before he hauled himself up. "I'm sure I left this somewhere. Ah there it is" He said calmly as he looked through his pouches and took out a small wrapped object. Take unwrapped it and in the wrapping was a small piece of uncooked chicken. It was meant to be his dinner, but hey he could do without one meal. He was used to it after all. The man smiled and offered it to the mouse, which stood up on it's back legs and happily began to chew at the piece of food. It was a funny one that was for sure. Not many of his species would eat like that - standing on their back legs and holding their food in their front paws. Take couldn't really help but laugh. "Well then little guy good luck. Ouch ouch ouch" He said as he stood up and his wet clothes scratched over his wounds. This was porbably something he had to note for future reference, though he'd probably just end up forgetting again. No matter.

It was time to go home now and get himself patched up. The critter was probably going to be fine, though the same couldn't really be said about himself. Heck Takehiko was even surprised he could even stand at this point, but no way to avoid it he had to get to an area where he could actually fine people or he was just going to end up dying like an idiot.

Why he decided to turn around at that point he didn't know, but it was probably just destiny playing its' never-ending game. What he saw was that the mouse was following him. Take had probably walked a good few hours by now but there it was just a meter or so away, waiting, watching. Take smiled and knelt down, opening his hand and placing it on the ground. "Want to come with me?" He asked the critter as it happily ran into it. Guess this trip hadn't turned out to be as worthless as he had thought....
