Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Sara looked out onto the icy tundra that was once the strong and indomitable shinobi shadow village known as of Kirigakure. A village destroyed practically overnight by a force of unknown means. Perhaps this was a similar showing of what had or will happen to her own village in time. But she would try her best to avoid such. Sara looked over her shoulder at her travel companion and leader for this quest, Jomei, as he grew closer to her. A swift wind blew over the ice, kicking up the snow that built up over it and passed her, sending a chill down her spine as she thought about her village and the current similarity between this one. She grabbed her coat and held it tighter around her body, a look of regret from going on this venture on her face. The cold rushed into her lungs with each word, making it difficult to speak concisely, “Shhhiii, Are yaaou sure this isss Kiriii.. Kiirigaaakure? It Doesn’t ssasseem to be much of a waater worllld.” Though the obviousness of ice being water fell short on the girl as she spoke to the man. It was her first time seeing snow, and if she had anything to do about it, it would be her last given how cold it was.

It must have been around -5 degrees right now, as the sun was starting to set in the distance, basking the once great village in a pink and blue glow. Though the wind was wiping fast, easily dropping the temperature at times to 20 degrees lower. The temperature would be dropping fast soon enough as night was approaching. Swirls of snow, like tornadoes, were being cast all across the ice ahead as the wind roared across it. Some were small, but others appearing the size of neighborhoods in the distance. Ahead where the sun shown, a few small projections could be seen atop of the smooth blue surface, black in color. A village or town of some sort hopefully rested on the death bed of Kirigakure, a survivors or treasure hunters camp perhaps, and it would be there only salvation most likely.

No life could be seen from where they stood, but Sara kept her hopes high, “I think I see some buildings or something up ahead.” She spoke loudly with Jomei nearer to her now, and the wind carrying her voice towards him. They had made this trek with enough supplies to last them a week or so, but the temperatures and harsh nature of Kirigakure had gotten the better of them, having them need to eat more along the way cut the supplies in half. Their tents and sleeping materials not made for the harsh weather that was plaguing this area added to dilemma that they were facing. Their food stocks froze days ago extending the life of it somewhat, but with the lack of materials to burn around, fire was of a harsh supply.

They would have to get to the camp site up ahead, and hope that the locals were friendly in nature. As they continued there trek into the lands of the Water Country, the temperature grew colder and colder as they got closer to the Shadow Village of the land. The epicenter of the barren wasteland ahead of them was Kirigakure, so it was only natural that the weather was only getting worse as they grew closer. Sara looked down at her feet and kicked the pile of snow that was just ahead, and growing on her shoe because of the snow flurries, feeling some of the snow’s water melting in her shoe. “This really, reaalllly, really su..suucks ya knnow.” It had been 6 days since they entered the snow encrusted area, and around the middle of the night on day 3 she had been complaining incessantly. Though the good news was around the beginning of this day she had quieted down quite a bit, except for this moment where hope shinned. “At leest Finnally, the first plac..ce with otters eround.” Her teeth chattered from the shaking of her shivering from the cold. A warning sign for sure, they would need to find shelter quickly.

Her hopes were high, finally finding someplace with people in this country. It was the first sign of actually civilized looking life, only having found broken down partial buildings during their travels, and no people what so ever having been around for some time. Though at the moment, it couldn’t be ascertained that there was any up ahead either, it looked more promising as more structures were around.

Everything was just as the memoir said it would be.

Jomei’s will was tested by an atmosphere so unforgiving that it succeeded in reducing a nation to rubble, and that was all that awaited the stnoe ninja traveling through the water capital’s outland; a dead swampland habitat. Wandering through the dark wilds, he and Sara had already spent seventeen long hours marching through what began to feel like an unending path that only became more frigid and desolate as time slipped away. The Land of Water had become a Land of the Dead, and had much worse in store for young explorers who dared to cross it. Of course, you’re quite aware of how dangerous the earth land’s northern mountain Ranges are; they may be bitterly cold, but there was something sinister about this endless winter of the Hidden Mist. It was that endless winter that drew the Hidden Stone’s ninja here, and they were developing the bravery necessary for survival in this hell. Two mere pebbles were tossed across the land, and skipped across the pond twice before plunging into the arctic deep of Kirigakure. This would be either their greatest moment or their undoing, but they wouldn’t find out they discovered what awaited them in the ruins of the Hidden Mist.

“Fifteen degrees… No that can’t be right”Jomei whispered under breath, merely continuing a confusing monologue of gobbledygook. His voice was hoarse: vocal chords shriveled up by the frigid air. “Seventeen. No it’s eight, een… -teen degrees.” And whatever he was going on about had something ado with a notebook he carried, that was beginning to resemble a well seasoned tome the more he toted it about. Heavy winds made folly of his attempts to keep steady on a page, and he struggled to keep their coordinates. “How many degrees has the temperature dropped in the last fifteen minutes?” A loud, terrifying inquiry finally meant a return of communication from him.

Jomei emerged out of the blanket of sleet, and adopted his partner’s pace. As his form broke through the sleet, he came with the glow of his oil lantern. Layer upon layer, upon heavier layers of insulated clohing had Jomei looking rather stocky and rotund has he approached. He hurried to her and hid away that useless tome. It was the book that led him down this path, and now he had brought along a friend so they could travel down the road Benjiro Matsui planned out for them. For now, let’s say it was the way to Kirigakure. When his father wrote the memoir, it was meant to tell him what to expect in this land, but words just could not convey what was in store for them. Finally, he huddled beside Sara and said “We are running low on daylight… If we don’t find shelter soon, we won’t survive. Everything. Everything in my book is wrong. I think I messed something up in the navigation. Weeeee must be on the wrong island.” A hint of panic was in his voice. The novice adventurer had led them all the way here; it was only a matter of time that something went awry, or else it wouldn’t have been a proper journey. “I should have known the moment we saw those otters. The Capital island is said to be uninhabitable. I didn’t think we’d even be able to stand the temperature near the core of the storm… that explains why we’re still-” he choked on either his words or the sudden gust of wind-- “alive and kicking.”

Re: In Search of What Once Was [Jomei, Sara][Contract Search

Sara looked across the desolation of white. They had been marching for 20 minuets but the buildings didn't seem so much closer then they had before. Jomei was looking at his book again, and a rough chill ran down her spine. It wasn't the cold, though that certainly was something making her spine a little numb to the feeling. That book was the reason they were where they were, and in the current predicament they were led astray into. They were heading for the place know as Kirigakure, though baring were hard to maintain with no sky to be seen, and markers indistinguishable from today to when that damn book was written. As they continued there death march into the blue yonder, all they could do was hope they were making some leeway. She hoped that they would find something reminiscent of the prologue that was this story he held so dearly. Or, at the very least find something that would counter his interests that book held over him. They continued sloshing through the powder as it grew deeper. She could finally see another object form out of the blur that was the distant black smudges she was sure were buildings. She activated her doujutsu to get a better look but it was still to far to see much else. The good news though was that nothing was ahead of them it appeared to be of danger or to slow the progress.

Sara was sure they were lost, but as Jomei had said, perhaps that was for the best. She easily noticed that the weather grew harsher, the days colder then the nights before, and life itself farther apart as they traveled deeper into the current abyss she foresaw. What was it now? Two days? Maybe three that she thought they should turn around, but Jomei was determined to continue, and Sara was hopeful that something of interest would appear, something she had never seen or would ever see except for here. Well, she was certainly right on that end, though the question was if she wanted to really see such a thing in the first place.

The buildings were slowly growing in size now, and she again looked at the buildings. Now she could see the cavities that dwelt within the monoliths ahead. She couldn't see life, at least what she would have hoped for, people. But it was still shelter, and would protect them from the winds that were causing the greatest conflict at this moment. Sara tightly held onto her coat, pulling it around herself as she waited for leaned towards Jomei. The wind was quickening, and as she spoke some of her words she couldn't here as she spoke. She tried again, this time closer and louder,"I th.. ee .. som .. lter over...ear." She pointed towards the buildings, sure that he had already seen them but it felt reassuring to herself to still say it. They pushed forward, just as vision became desolate enough to barely be able to tell what was 2 feet in front of themselves. Sara grabbed onto Jomei's hand, activating her Byakugan again, her vision clearer, and able to see as if it was a harsh and bitter blinding snowstorm. She felt around the building and found an entrance as she pulled him inside.

The calmness that was the building was a welcoming differentiation from the last few days. She put her stuff down and and breathed a sigh of relief. "HOLY FREAK'IN COW!" Her voice echoed in the chambers. She stopped speaking for a second to try and calm down some, and regain her equilibrium. For the last few days, she had to talk louder then normal for anything to have been heard. The difference between this shelter, and the tents they used before was that much so. If she wasn't so tired from the travel, she might have had a hard time to sleep those last few days. "Sorry..", Sara said after she caught her breath. She reached over to her bag and pulled out some frozen jerky and gawd on it. After a few minuets she could finally taste the spices on it. If she kept working on it, perhaps she would be able to actually take a piece of it off. Sara got up and broke open a glow stick from her bag and tossed it into the center of the room. The eerie yellow green glow washed the whole place in light, barely enough to see the outer walls of the building. The place was full of crap, but she left Jomei to sort out the making camp and searching the area as she worked on her food.

He always thought the Byakugan was an incredible trait, and figured a day would come where Sara would prove to be invaluable as a teammate; and so far this expedition was proving that to be an understatement. When she took the lead through the phantasmic blanket of white that blinded their sight, Jomei willingly followed, knowing she would not lead them any further astray. When Sara grasped at him, he barely felt her touch through so many layers of clothes. That or his hand had already become fairly numb, either were possibilities. Alas, dashing through the snow, they came upon a temple but would hardly know it until they made it through the once-grande entrance.

There used to be statues outside, but religious relics are usually the first things to go during civil infighting. Many terrible things had befallen this land since the storm started, yet this structure was still standing in tact, mostly. Tall wooden arcs lined the entrance, and the duo of stone ninja marched up steep, snow-covered granite steps beneath them. Flower vines once grew among them, and now stalagmites were hanging there instead. Walking into the shrine presented a pitch black setting, where the mouth of the building had no doors and Jomei’s lantern provided the only light source until Sara made a snapping sound, and trigger her glowstick. Orange and green lights illuminated the long forgotten temple, filling it with a vibrance it had not seen since the ages before the storm smothered the Hidden Mist, and put an end to the lives that filled it.

“Holy cow is right” Jomei added once he had regained his composure, and took in the surroundings. “Take a look at this place, it’s like we’re in a ransacked Temple of the Five. What a find... I think you saved our biscuits, Sara. What would I do without you?” He paused to huff and puff, and chuckled once. “Probably die” he admitted with a reluctant smile.

While Sara partook in her own nutrition, Jomei attempted to shake a drop of water out of his frozen canteen, and resolved to continue looking around their latest hostel while his efforts proved futile. “Don’t wander off too far, Sara” he warned her anxiously. Together they had skills that would make limit the chance of a threat getting the drop on them. A sensor and byakugan pairing had a slim chance of failure, statistically. “You never know what else might have found shelter in here… Actually, wait up.” Jomei nervously trailed behind Sara, and used his lantern to light old candles in sconces along the walls as they wandered deeper into the temple confines. It was a spacious hobble, where angular designs created haunting shadows as the light swept over the room. Every piece of debris that crunched as they stepped over it brought a sense of alarm to them, and sent a tingle up his spine. The shadowy corners seemed ghastly in the dark until Jomei crept closer and the light revealed nothing but more dust and shattered urns. “You know what happens whenever the characters split up in movies, that’s how they get picked off. I’m pretty sure that with my luck, my dome will be the one getting bashed in if only one of us is getting out alive. So I say we stick together on this one and improve the odds. It hasn’t hurt so far.”

A moment of exploring the remnants of the temple yielded signs of the civilization that used to be Kirigakure. Much like his own village, Jomei saw the signs of a culture who saw many technological and philosophical advancements in a few short eras. He stumbled upon a rack of scrolls and textbooks alike; after all, this was still a thriving land before the storm came. Beyond the entrance chamber, the explorers encounter the center chamber, which also contained the altar: a frozen fountain surrounding another desecrated statue. It was covered in graffiti, and the deity's head had been removed entirely in a clean break. Jomei knelt down at the altar and dusted off a wooden plaque on the rim of the pool. Finely inscribed text was presented in Old Kirigakurian, text characters he recognized, but a language he had yet to learn. Of all the studying he did for this mission, Jomei hadn’t bothered to learn the old language of this land, and expected everything to be of the common tongue instead. He relented briefly, and resumed observing the room around them and the many scattered relics left behind. If he were lucky, he’d find some kind of schematic or piece of tech that would interest his superiors at the Science Division, but so far nothing of value was left behind besides the decorative paint on the walls, which were also chipped and faded. The photos would eventually resemble a story of creation when pieced together, and though Jomei began to understand the story as he looked upon the walls, his interest in this ancient religion was only enough for what the mission required from him. He revealed his trusty camera, and began snapping photos of the temple art, hoping to piece together something useful once he made it back to makeshift black room in his compact cabin. Indeed, the stone ninja had come to this island in a steam-engine ship Jomei talked out of a merchant in the Land of Fire. It ran hot with simmering coal for hours, even overnight and would have shielded them from the weather ideally. But for now they were pinned down on the island. Destiny called for them to wait overnight in this temple, as the sun’s warmth had abandoned the islands and these walls had become the only thing separating the two young ninja from the ever-lurking touch of death.

In a moment’s notice, Jomei became busy once again, and began collecting wood and whatever dry materials he could find to make a fire. He threw them into a pile several meters away from the altar, and donated half of the oil from his flask to feed a newborn flame. He was sure Sara would have the honors of serving as their match with her lightning affinity, and spark the flame that would ensure their survival for one more miserable night. “Care to give this the ole’ Lady Sango treatment?” He asked her with a cheerful, joking tone; one ready for the warmth of a cozy flame. He had a can of rubbish salted pork- cheap preserved meat he purchased in bulk during a stop at the Tea Country during their journey here. Tonight a can was going to do as his meal; that and a potato he intended on roasting in that fire. To Jomei it was a dinner for a champion, and packed enough calories to hold him over till his next chance to dine. “I’ll split my potato with you if that jerky keeps giving you a hard time.” Once she got the fire started, he set his canteen by the fire to hopefully thaw his beverage. The potato was set as well, but closer to the embers.“I don’t think I can handle drinking more of this ice-cold water when I’m already turning into a spider-sickle. I should have brought a little sake to thaw us out in dire situations like this. Maybe that could've livened up this dump a bit.” Though they were both younglings, who could tell them no in this long-deserted land. They now lived the lives of explorers who were living on the fringe, and going where it was said man could no longer venture. As Jomei thought about the familiar warmth he missed, thoughts of home floated to the top of a deep pool that was his consciousness, and he finally began to miss the great Maruishi mountainscape they dared to leave behind. He began to wonder what his Stepmother had made for dinner that night, and diverted back to his own reality. He focused the moment of lament onto his starchy side dish and ripped his potato into two solid halves, delivering on the promise to his companion. “For you my friend, Fire-roasted Potato a la Jomei. The judges give it a 5-star rating, má paní.” A single tear of joy sparkled in his eye once he took a bite of the piping hot spud. It didn’t even need salt to satisfy him. “You just can’t go wrong with potatoes. I could never wrap my head around a how those religious nuts rally behind Old Gods from millenia ago or whatever, or even the Brothers and Sisters... but if one of those monks can prove to me that a kami came up with potatoes, I think I could get behind that." He took another bite and continued the diatribe with food in his mouth, "Until then, I’ll stick to the good ole' fashion scientific meffod."

Jomei accepts.

Re: In Search of What Once Was [Jomei, Sara][Contract Search

To her, the religious temple seemed to be no more then a mausoleum. Whether it was literally, or figuratively, was left to the imagination. The statue of gods or the dead, littered the place, broken by time, raiders, or both surrounded them. This oasis in the tundra was welcoming in either way at the end, as the outside would have turned them into similar like statues. She half wondered it something like this would eventually be made of her or others she knew in her village. As she moved further into the temple, she was searching for a dry, warmer, and safer spot to cease her wandering. No matter what she did, she just couldn't feel warm in this country. Something was lingering in the back of her mind, something was keeping her on edge, and she always felt something was watching from afar.

As Jomei spoke about a place back home and the luck she afforded him, she spoke with reluctance,"I think we might have been better off outside..", she murmured under hush breath. The young girl was busy trying to warm herself as much as possible by rubbing her jacket, and also to find someplace to release some of the stress her over-packed bag weighed down on her. t must have weight as much as her, especially as the snow stacked atop of it. Sara certainly had some muscular tones to her, as she was becoming stronger as a shinobi, and with some emphasis in taijutsu. She was still a small and fairly young girl. But she was a girl of leisure, that was certain. She preferred to enjoy the scenery than train to gain strength whenever possible. She was just born or rather dealt a bad hand as of recently. Or perhaps it was a good hand, it depended on your point of view. She was slowly becoming an asset for Iwagakure and Maruishi. Strength was in great need, and passion towards making that happen. Her passion laid more in helping others, but the need to gain what was needed to be better at that was strong. If she were in another country or not a shinobi, she would probably be out buying makeup and clothing with friends, or walking through a park about now. Well, a few hours ago of now.

Jomei was meandering around, seeing what exciting treasures the temple had to offer. He spoke out to Sara, saying she shouldn't wander, she looked up for a moment, her piece of jerky being pulled out, slightly shredded. She felt the need to move though, "I think we should go this way.", to find something that felt...she wasn't sure of what, but she would know it when it happened. All she knew was that it wasn't where she stood at that moment. Jomei was very interested in the architecture of what was around them, and she would look back occasionally to see what peaked his interest, along with not distancing herself to greatly from him. At some point, he said the stupidest thing to her that was most likely the feeling she was also having. She looked to him for some reason as leverage, protection, though there certainly was very little reason for it besides the urge of numbers, but she was sure that he was skillful enough, and trustworthy to be as such. But why did he have to say such things. The example about horror movies and splitting up. If they lost sight of each other, that was when shit was going to go down. He might have just been right, but she too wasn't going to chance it. It was about then that she felt some warmth melt over her, and stopped her in her tracks.

She tossed her bag off and looked around for a place to lean on. The room was fairly visible all around, and had a few things Jomei would have been interested in rummaging through. To her, it was a wide open space, and felt safer then where they had been. Jomei gathered some materials from nearby, chances are some broken ornaments that once decorated the hall. The material would be dry, something everything was around here. Jomei placed an accelerate on the materials then turned towards Sara. He made a joke about the other adventure they had been on, and she laughed with a hint of annoyance. "You know, your very funny sometimes.." She said with a serious tone, placing on her rings and bent down near the small gathering of tinder. She reached out and grabbed a hold of a piece and focused a small amount of chakra to the tips of her fingers. A spark broke out and the small piece was lit and she slowly lowered onto the others. The oil caught aflame and quickly they had a good warm fire burning. Sara stood back up and rummaged through her bag, the piece of meat hanging out of her mouth. She found a mat and blanket, taking it out and placing it near the fire, laying along the edge of it. The warmth was, well warming, in the freezer that was this building they sat in. She placed a few pieces of meat near the flames, still chewing on the one from before as Jomei offered a part of his meal. She looked up at him as he placed his food along the fire as well, "That sounds great actually. I had no idea how hard this thing could get in the cold." She responded to his offer.

Sara too was drinking water, though she had placed some herbs to flavor it some. The water grew cold quickly once away from the flames. As they both tried to get warmer and enjoy what they had, Jomei wasn't to happy about the scenery's effects on what they had. He had wished for something a little more adult to drink, as he finished, Sara, in her infinite wisdom and medical expertise had to interject. "You know that isn't true. Actually, liquor will make colder in the long run. It...." She looked at him as she spoke before stopping and changing her tune, "Ya!!! Defiantly! Booze! We'll have to remember that next time!" Next time, she laughed at that remark. Nothing, NOTHING AT ALL, had happened on this trip to make her ever want to come back. This frozen hell was a once in a lifetime event, that of which personally she felt could have only been better if never felt even that once.

Jomei passed along a piece of the potato he was cooking to Sara, she grabbing a hold of it with her gloves, feeling the warmth radiate from it. The head leaving it almost appeared to be a geyser, as she watched it rise into the air then vanished. She took a bite and another, enjoying the feeling she got from it, letting loose her feelings with sound. Jomei had plenty to say about the potato as well, almost stating it as a religious deity. She laughed at his joke, thinking that such an idea would be funny, picturing a potato in front of a group of people on a pedestal as they preyed to it. She remarked along side him, "I could get with that."

Re: In Search of What Once Was [Jomei, Sara][Contract Search

As the Stone warriors walked the temple, two figures followed. Their footsteps were non-existent, as was their breathing. Their eyes watched all, their ears missed nothing. The building grew chilly, though the humans seated by the fire took no notice. It was Jomei's last words that caused the snap.

The figures burst from the shadows, each grabbed an arm, and they both pressed their chilled figures into his throat. They slammed him against a wall and spoke in unison. "Such insolence. You dare traipse within my temple, defiling it with your very steps? You have the gall to proclaim it a 'dump'? And if that were not enough, you affront my faithful followers? I should smite you here before the little one, show her what disrespect will wrought. Perhaps then your life will prove useful." Though their hands remained, the fingers clasping his throat loosened. With more air allowed to enter his lungs, Jomei's vision returned to him, allowing him to see, along with Sara, who or what was attacking him.

Two young females stood before him, looking near identical. Their skin had a lavender hue, with odd shaped shards on their heads. Each had a single eye visible, and only Jomei could see their fierce red gaze. Their ice blue hair matched in color, but differed in style. One gave off a more flowing presence, while the other seemed jagged. They almost had a monstrous appearance to them, which was emphasized by their assault and the look of fury in their eyes. The next course of action by the shinobi and kunoichi very well could determine the fate of the spider man.

Re: In Search of What Once Was [Jomei, Sara][Contract Search

Sara rolled back as the two figures showed themselves behind Jomei, barely visible enough for her to notice, almost seeming to meld into the surroundings. Warning Jomei before they came out wasn't even in the convention of possibilities. Instincts kicked in, the two shades telling her brain to run at first before they attacked. The food she was eating, rolled off the blanket, the water spilling over her mat as she had made her movement to get up to run. Just as she started her movement, they attacked, grabbing Jomei by the throat, and grasping taut. Her instinct of flight was steadied upon rational thought breaking through. She finally remembered Jomei was there, abandoning him kicked started the thought of confronting the shades. She looked at his situation, seeing him being restrained by the two figures. She was breathing hard, trying to grasp the moment with more clarity.

She looked upon the two figures, feminine, even more so given there skin color, something akin to her eyes. She didn't have time to warn Jomei before they grabbed him, reacting before thinking. Though, now everything was coming together. They spoke in unison, pulling harder on her companion, anger being their motivation. They spoke of the temple belonging to them, and of Jomei's insults about it, and the words of disrespect towards...'followers'? She didn't grasp the meaning behind those words at all. She stood at the ready, her arms in front of her, open, her stance rigid. It would have appeared in a manner of scared, unsure, or defenseless, but that was just her stance for her style of fighting, open palmed and meant for quick movements, also allowing greater access to her chakra. What was it called? Jaken Stance? She wasn't sure but it almost came to her naturally, ingrained within her being somehow.

The situation at hand could have gone many ways. But, the reason of why it got here was confusing? Were their attacks against Jomei only? Perhaps she was in the free and clear? Meaning, she might be able to talk to them. "He meant no disrespect towards you with his words." An attempt to calm the situation a little more, and the time needed. She analyzed the situation more keenly, thinking both diplomatically and offensively. Jomei, she knew he had more then two arms, so their grasp on him would be fruitless if he choose to attack. Then again, they seemed strong as they allowed Jomei to breath some, easily cutting off his air supply with their finger tips. Physically strong, and intelligent enough to know the bodies week points. The fight was currently at their loss, two vs two, but Jomei was already in a weakened stance, and the frigid surroundings had weakened the two of them enough to have this fight become one sided. So hopes had to lay in with diplomacy. Sara only hopped Jomei would see that as well before trying something stupid.

Re: In Search of What Once Was [Jomei, Sara][Contract Search

The womanly figures turned their heads, their singular eyes looking to the small girl. They chuckled lightly at her stance. "Your words and your body do not match small one. A bow would be more appropriate a reaction to my presence." With no response from Jomei, the women froze him to the wall so he could not interfere once he regained consciousness. With the man dealt with, the mysterious figures turned to Sara. "You trespass upon the holy ground of Ori and Ora." They spoke in unison, meaning it was impossible to tell which one was which. But considering they acted in harmony, it probably didn't matter. They would answer to either name.

Their bodies showed no sign of aggression now, though their eyes held their icy gaze upon the small girl. "What brings you to my domain? Does it justify your disregard for my dwellings? Surely you are aware of the hazards this wasteland now houses. Even my own temple is not protected from them." They awaited the girl's response, curiosity overtaking their earlier rage.
Jomei's inactivity means he forfeits this search. He may still acquire the Kami contract, but he must reroll in a different topic and roll a Kami again. This search will continue with Sara alone.

Re: In Search of What Once Was [Jomei, Sara][Contract Search

With ease, it was miraculous. Any dismal chance at an offensive was tossed out the window, almost literally as Jomei was frozen behind something as such instantly. His image encapsulated in place behind a clear wall, causing his chakra to be reduced amazingly quick. Her job was now to rescue him, and by the looks of how quickly they dealt with her captain, though a more peaceful manner than was taught to her. The, what could be considered twins, Ori and Ora, spoke again in unison, first about something that she slowly grasped as her combat stance, known to them? The reasons, the how was beyond her, but these 'girls' were able to suss her out clearly.

Their postures turned from that of rigidity and how she would describe as combat ready, to a more calming manner. The quickness of it was surprising, did they find her weak? Perhaps not threatening enough to posture as such. Was her age working in Sara's favor? Well, it was something to work with. She breathed in deeply then out slowly, closing her eyes, bringing her hands together and standing straight, as the two spoke. After they finished, she bowed to them, deeply, taking her eyes off of them, the contemplation of releasing her eyes to get a better assessment of the situation at hand but deciding against it. If she knew or could tell from her stance of intentions, she might feel that to be more of an insult. "Greetings, Ori and Ora. My name is Yaku Sara. I...I have come here for shelter? Um, the storm outside. I.." To use the word we or not to, she thought? Perhaps not..."I had entered your.. your temple to seek ref.. Um..'Refuage'. We...I mean." To late she thought. "We have come to this country to try and figure out what had happened to this land. And to find how we..my village, can escape a fate similar. Recently a creature of unknown origin has destroyed my home, my countries capital. It happened easily, and we found out there were other monsters similar to it." The story from her point of view at the given time. For all she knew her village could have already been gone, or in worse shape, though that thought hadn't occurred to her. "I was hoping to find a way to help heal the people of my village, and to rebuild and even avoid such happening again, or at least to a lesser extent." Sadness taking hold slightly, wiping a half frozen tear and snot from her face, caused from either the thought or the weather.

Re: In Search of What Once Was [Jomei, Sara][Contract Search

The kami patiently listened to the young girl's reasoning for entering their temple. They nodded once, displaying their acceptance of her motive. However, as Sara continued, their faces held disdain. Crossing their arms, they stared down the girl with cold eyes. "Of course. It is always about humans. Why care for those who remain here suffering? The spirits? The animals? Nature itself? Our importance means nothing in the eyes of humanity." They turned their back on the child and lifted their arms out. "This land, this temple, this body...they were beautiful once. They were full of life, admired, idolized even. But in a wave, all was thrown into chaos. Inactivity washed over Water Country, death plagued my holy ground."

Ori and Ora turned back to the Stone kunoichi. "Do you truly believe you will find your answer here? This country is infected with an undetectable miasma. It slaughters the weak, and corrupts those who survive." A hint of despair reached their red eyes as they looked at their icy fingers. "Even I am not the god I was. My true power vanished with my followers, and now I am broken. But due to this despicable blizzard that afflicts my land, I am caged within these walls, destined to fade from existence as the last of those who remember me die away themselves."

Their gaze returned to Sara. "Leave little one. This land holds no compassion for even its own inhabitants. You will die before you find your answer." They gave a small chuckle. "There may not even be one to be found." The ice holding Jomei in place melted away, allowing the spider man to fall to the ground. "You may wait for him to regain consciousness. Then, you must go." They turned their backs, preparing to leave the two shinobi alone again in the temple ruins.

Re: In Search of What Once Was [Jomei, Sara][Contract Search

The twins turned there backs to her, things were sliding downhill. Her crying slowed as she wiped the tears away. They spoke of humanity as being selfish, ignoring everything else in nature and the world. She had never dwelt on such things and found it to be stupid reasoning from the girls. She had no ill regard towards such, thus saw the rest of 'humanity' having the same vision of the world as her. The only interesting thing that caught her off was the spirits part. 'Ghosts?' Was that what they were referring to? 'Did they say God?' The girls were throwing things at her she had no knowledge of. Still, things were sliding away from her finding answers, she could tell. They told her to leave the country, something she could get behind, but she had a mission at hand. She had to gain more about the happenings of the country, and possibly any other knowledge they might have. Perhaps the creatures that destroyed her country were, spirits? Perhaps gods. They seemed pretty alive to her, though these girls were pretty alive looking as well.

"NO!" Force was behind her words. Anger in fact. Anger towards them, and there remark. The creature that attacked her village could for all she knew be just like these girls. Or maybe it was passion? At least a form of passion was involved. There empathy for humans, for her, clouded there vision. Turned it sour and fowl. Maybe even to the point of resentment towards there own. It blocked her from what was needed,"I will be happy to listen to anything you say, but I will not leave without something to help my home. These creatures, spirits or gods, Youkai for all I know attacked my village." She tried while midway through to regain some composure, "But they didn't begin there. They destroyed everything along there path. Animal or nature. Maybe even spirits if they could. I mean...they even attacked there own kind for no reason but that they were there." The girl's breathing picked up heavily, as she stared at the two before her. She had no regard for Jomei at that moment. The larger picture was more important to her. She tried to control herself before crying again, this time out of passionate anger instead of the before sadness.

"I...I!!" She fought it. Then she tried to think of how they saw things. Maybe they too were greedy? Like how they saw people? No not greedy, that wasn't what she was thinking. Rather, lost and confused, angry and wanting? "Anything that is still alive from this land made it's way over to the main land." She remembered, "Even the Kage of my country, and his wolf friend are from here." She kept trying, but it was hard. She had her own problems, similar to them. So she put her own feelings as the girls, and hoped they would want the same things she wanted. "If I could, I would help you, the land surrounding this temple and beyond, go back to the way things were. If there is a way, I will find it. If you wish, I can help you and all your faithful followers gain a temporary home until things can be figured out here and returned to what they once were." She was angry at how things only got worse at home, and how very little to nothing was being done to rectify the situation. No help from outside her country, nothing. Almost like everything was giving up on the Stone Country. Everything that she held important was being washed away, and she didn't understand why. Could they have felt similar?

The Ideals and dreams of a young innocent girl, naive perhaps they were, but she meant every word of it. It was what she wanted, and if they had any desires similar, the offer of any help; something that thus far hadn't been offered to her, would be welcomed in any form.

Re: In Search of What Once Was [Jomei, Sara][Contract Search

The kami paused in their exit, though they did not turn around. Sara's voice gave away her feelings, every ounce of them. Finally, as she neared the end of her speech, Ori and Ora turned their bodies and returned to the girl. "The help you offer, child, is selfish." They took in a breath and exhaled vapor. "But no creature is without such desires. Self-preservation and the protection of those important are equally egocentric." They looked at each other for a moment. "Even I am not without want." Their red eyes returned to Sara. "Very well young one, tell me of these creatures who assaulted your home. If I have knowledge of such beings, I will share it. In turn, I wish for you to assist in a matter of great importance to me." Their eyes looked toward the entrance to the temple. "There is a location within my temple that I cannot tread. A mysterious power keeps me from entering an important room. I need you to enter in my stead and find the source of this phenomena." They awaited Sara's reply.

Re: In Search of What Once Was [Jomei, Sara][Contract Search

"Eggo, centric? Ego, um...center?" She murmured the word for a moment, trying to figure out if it sounded familiar in order to know what it meant. Was it bad? It got them to continue talking to her? Maybe it was a good thing! Though, they understood her feelings perfectly it seemed. After all, they had been in this place for a long time, alone. Well, not alone, they had each other, but still. They couldn't see the outside world if they were stuck here all this time. For such a long time she imagined, after all the outside seemed to be in a horrible condition, more so then the winters in the village. Perhaps the girls weren't so bad? They did release Jomei from that ice prison thing, and would have allowed them to both leave. She was sure they were strong enough that if they had wanted, she wouldn't of been able to defeat them in a fight. So, they weren't evil, probably, and that was a plus! And even then, she needed this area for a camp until they could recover, at least till the storm was over. But most of all, the twins needed help, and she had promised them."I..I said I would help you no matter, with anything if I could. Selfish or not, it's what I want to do! Afterwords, !if you want!, you can help me in any manner you can." Sara looked over to Jomei unsure if he was okay or not. "Um, but first, can I make sure he is alright." Sara pointed over to him then looked at the girls to see if they would be accepting, though in truth, either way she would have helped him. Sara would pull him nearer to the fire and make sure he was wrapped up, before turning back to the girls.

"Lead me to where this, fhen..nom..nana is at!" Such big words, she thought.

Re: In Search of What Once Was [Jomei, Sara][Contract Search

The kami waited for Sara to finish tending to Jomei before leading her down a few corridors. It grew darker as they continued, and the spirits gave off a faint blue glow to help the kunoichi see. This area had seen the same amount of damage as the rest of the temple, with crumbled walls laying in the path. They were nearing the destination, and a shiver traveled down Sara's spine. But despite the frigid air, it was obvious that the cold wasn't the cause. They stopped before a large, decorative door. Worn away was an image of a woman with flowing blue hair, opening her arms to welcome those entered through the door. Both women placed a hand on the door, but recoiled as a loud snap rang in the air. They looked down to Sara. "This was my old chambers, the place where my followers would come to pray to me. Back then...I could grant any wish, just so long as they believed in me." They again looked at the door. "Belief...is the power that sustains the Kami." They shook their heads, realizing they were going on about something unnecessary.

"Excuse me. I was reminiscing." They motioned at the door. "Something has entered my chambers and corrupted it. What it is, I cannot say. But it is most assuredly dangerous if it was able to keep me away from my own chambers." They knelt on one knee and looked up at Sara. "Listen little one. Whatever is inside, do not fight it. Instead, find a way to allow me to enter. Once I am within, I will dispose of the intruder. Understand?" They awaited confirmation before standing again.

Whatever the barrier was made from, it was not created to stop humans. Sara could easily push the door open. Within, positioned just before the back wall, was a large shrine encased in a pillar of ice. A large bell was on the ceiling in front of the icy column, and its rope just barely grazed the floor. A few cushions were scattered on the floor, forming a messy semi-circle. It would have been a rather nice room, if not for an eerie mist permeating from the wooden floor. In each corner of the room, as well as in the center, was a white hand rising up from the mist, swaying lightly. As she took her first steps into the room, Sara would feel her chakra dulling. Even her eyes could not pull forth the power of the Byakugan. Inching closer into the room, her eyes would scan for any object that might allow Ori and Ora to enter. Nothing caught eye...

Suddendly one of the white hands shot out, grabbing Sara by the neck. It's sharp red nails lightly dug into her flesh, sinking closer and closer to the young girl's bone. A massive white figure rose from the mist in front of Sara, it's eye sockets hollow as it stared at the child. Its mouth was pulled back into a toothy grin as it inched towards the struggling Sara. Dried blood on its body and lips told it had dined on human flesh, and looking through the mist, Sara could see the gnawed remains of those victims. It's putrid smell entered her nose as the vile creature drew close. Adrenaline pumping through Sara's body, she was finally able to activate her eyes. Hidden behind the foul beast's gnarly teeth was a glowing orb which could only be some form of condensed chakra. Meeting Sara face to face, the creature opened its mouth, preparing to bite off the kunoichi's whole head. There, at the roof of its mouth, was the chakra only Sara's eyes could see. She only had one chance.

Re: In Search of What Once Was [Jomei, Sara][Contract Search

The travel to their destination was quite, Sara looking on to the walls of the building. The decorative facade showed workmanship in it, still awing even in such disrepair. She looked ahead, seeing the two glowing girls navigate with ease. Then it got colder, though less to her skin then a feeling perhaps. Something else was here, or something had happened here that she could easily distinguish, but seeming to block from the surface of her thoughts. They reached a dead end, before them a wall with a mural. The two reached forward and she could hear something discharge, causing the two to shirk away. They turned towards her and opened a path slightly for her to pass, then spoke. She spoke of the past, those that followed her, and asked for favors that she could grant with ease. Then words she didn't expect to hear, Kami. 'Kami...really?' she thought. She hadn't believed in such, thinking, remembering that the Iwagakurians, at least some believed in such deities. She thought them to be false, but here she was before not one, but two. There power was something to see as they had cast Jomei to the side with ease. Still, she felt uneasy at the moment, taking in the thoughts of such.

They paused, then excused themselves, she raised her hand to motion the need was unnecessary. The two pointed to the door, or rather beyond it. Something laid ahead, unknown to them, but strong enough to thwart gods. She felt a greater unease. Then they warned her, avoid fighting, just get them inside. She was hesitant to answer, unsure if it would be, rather, she was sure it was unwise to enter. She placed her hand on the door and nothing happened. She responded to them, gathering some courage from such,"I...I...I will do what is needed to get you within." Her words emanating uncertainty and fear. She pushed against one side of the wall and it slowly released it's grasp of the other, opening. She put her other hand on it and pushed harder, opening it wide enough for one to peer in to the room easily. Once it stopped, she stepped back from it and scanned the room.

Very opened, fairly large, a shrine of some sort to the back, similar in standing as to the outside world, or to what they had done to Jomei, encapsulated in ice. She looked up, seeing a bell tower above. She continued looking, seeing the area was in a mess, something certainly happened here. She stepped forwards and deeper into the room. A shallow mist hanging just above her knees, making it hard to see the ground below. Something stood out of balance with the rest, arms reaching out and just stood, seeming to move slightly with each step, as if a rope. Though, opposite. She reluctantly stepped further, trying to activate her skills to see what couldn't be seen, though it was difficult. She should have paused, reexamined what was happening, but her feet only moved forward as she thought about why she couldn't, and what she needed to look for.

It was then, when she was thinking, searching for something important, her guard down for merely a moment that something ahead rushed out and grabbed hold of her neck. It's grip tightening, it's nails digging. She fought it off intuitively, instincts taking over and mending her wound as best it could. Something she picked up during her time at the academy, her medical training combining with her combat training. She grabbed at the hands, trying to force them off but couldn't. It would have been a good time to have Jomei here with her most certainly. The hands just grasping tighter. Damn her luck,"Damnit..No..tt guod. I wissh those tttwo wuhere here". And, it only grew worse. Something moved ahead, as she looked, before her a figure, human like but obviously not. Eyes darkened and empty, it was coming for her. The smile on it's face, vile and somewhat maniacal in nature. She continued to struggle with the hand, the action seeming to bring great joy the the blood stained creature. The stench of the room, familiar to that of remains that she had to dig through after the attack, but stronger. She pushed harder for a moment then stopped. Time seemed to slow down for her for a moment, as she remembered what the Kami girls said. She breathed in deeply, trying to calm her mind and gain focus, again things slowed more so. She focused chakra to her eyes to regain her Byakugan. Her vision grew, she was more affluent of what was within the room, of what was happening. She continued to focus, now instead of avoiding her gaze of the creature, she focused on it. Within the creature, a chakra source was to be had. A weakness was shown. It's mouth opened wide, preparing to engulf her, exposing it even more so now. A weakness she needed, and she took grasp anyways she could.

Chakra flowed freely through her body, control beyond what most could muster. Her target was going to be that orb of chakra. It had substance, something she had never seen chakra have before. A physical manifestation, this land had many surprises within. The damage would be minimal to the creature itself most certainly, but what held immediately and drew from the source of chakra would be damaged somewhat if the object was taut. She struck her hands forward, in a flurry of strikes, Eight Trigrams Tenketsu Strikes, an attack which had chakra leaving her body, and entering the enemies, to damage what laid below the skin. If she could grasp the orb, she would, or punching to loosen it if needed and only if needed. The two gods told her to avoid fighting the creature, so her target was the orb. It didn't seem like it belonged there anyways, being an actual object. And the creature lacked points of chakra, something she would have normally expected in any living subject. Her hands moved fast. If she got hold of the orb, she would hold it close, hoping that the creature would stop moving. If she didn't get it, or if the creature still moved, at the last second she would change to destroying the orb, focusing chakra to her hands, then her finger tips. Destroying it was a last ditch move, but she couldn't be sure what would be needed. "Okay, rally... reeally ish you'ld come hel..um..Kami...chans? Sara wished that the two girls would do as they promised, and save her. She believed in what they told her, perhaps a character flaw of hers, believing most anything she was told. Hopefully this action allowed the two Kami to enter to help, getting her out of this situation, as that was what was most on her mind now.

Re: In Search of What Once Was [Jomei, Sara][Contract Search

Sara's hands moved fast as she jabbed at the creature, her aim focused on the orb. The creature was caught off guard, seeming surprised that the small girl was aiming where she was. It dipped and weaved its head, trying to find a break in Sara's assault to chomp her head off. At the last moment, all Sara could do was destroy the sphere, and the beast roared in anger and pain. Recovering, black goo dripped from its mouth as it prepared to finish off the Stone kunoichi.

But Ori and Ora were true to their word. One slammed an icy fist into the beast's jaw, while the other sliced the white hand gripping Sara's neck. An ice wall separated the creature from the one known as Ori as she addressed the human girl. "You have done well little one. It is time for you to go. We will rid our chamber of this foul beast, or die trying." She gave Sara a nudge towards the door and turned her focus to the battle. Now fighting together, the kami kicked and punched, adding ice when needed. However, something about them was off. Though they fought well together, Sara's Byakugan could pick up on their mismatched tempo. One hand grabbed onto the ponytail of Ori, and another latched onto Ora's foot. Ori was able to break free, but not in time to stop the beast from latching onto Ora's shoulder with its gnarly teeth.

Sara's decision was at hand. Should she stay or should she go.

Re: In Search of What Once Was [Jomei, Sara][Contract Search

The creature moved, making it a little harder to land where she needed. At first, it was difficult, but once she got used to what movements it could make, she easily countered. It was also all she could do to avoid being eaten, as now the creature was focused on something else, it's grip loosening slightly. She couldn't grab the sphere, so she went on to placing chakra onto the outer membrane of the orb, and it shattered. The creature was jolted, and roared. A black goo, almost like thickened blood dripped from it's mouth, as it had backed away out of her reach. She grabbed onto the hand that was at her throat, pulling on it to get loose. The creature looked at her yet again, and opened wide, this time moving faster. Sara looked the creature in it's dead eyes as it moved quickly, mouth wide. She saw from behind her the two goddesses move in, almost to fast to make them out. One punching the creature away from her, the other slicing through the white ghost like hand, at the middle.

Sara pulled hard as she landed on the ground with her butt. Leaning back she removed the nails from her neck and let the hand hit the floor next to her. It moved slightly and she pushed back, her hands around her own neck, holding the blood back while it healed. A wall of ice blocked her view of the other god and the creature. One of the two spoke to her, almost giving Sara thanks, and then telling her to go. They would deal with finishing the beast. Sara watched as they fought for a moment, then got up, still holding her wound. She moved towards the door, still watching their fight as she did so. Sara caught her breath and was now holding onto the side of the door that led into the room. She breathed deeply and peaked back, getting a better view. Their fighting style, involving ice was quite something, similar to how she fought with chakra, yet more effective. Their use of adding an element, with physical effects was effective, but it seemed they were loosing ground ever so slightly with each attack.

The creature eventually managed to get the better of them, grabbing both in an attempt to stop there movements. It took to the offensive, biting into one of the girls while the other just managed to break free shortly after. Sara thought about there words, hanging on them as she thought about going back. "Whatever is inside, do not fight it.", the words echoing. "Or die trying.." A phrase she wouldn't take someone saying lightly, especially coming from them. She couldn't fight as well as they, or as strongly, but it didn't seem right to just leave them, even if they didn't want her to be there. She had promised them, 'to help in any manner she could', and she felt that going in to fight with them might be detrimental in their fighting style. But, she was a medic foremost, so her skills in supporting allies were pretty up there, and not just in healing. She could help them offensively and defensively, while not interfering by being between them or the monster. "A sacrifice such as that isn't required here.", she murmured from the doorway.

Her most favorite skill in genjutsu, was one she used only in last ditch efforts. It wasn't because it was weak or strong that she rarely used it, but rather she wasn't fully trained in the art. Still, the effect in combat with friends or multiple enemies allowed for some favorable chances to come forth. Sara looked upon the target, focusing on it and weaved some hand signs. For this creature, she couldn't be sure if it would even effect them greatly, but it was worth the shot. If it worked, the monster would be lost in a sea of black. It wouldn't be able to see the girls, or discern whom an attack was coming from. But she didn't stop there. She had another distance based jutsu that could open the defenses of the beast. This time, it would be a ninjutsu. If the thing was having problems before with the black goo being vomited, it would have much more of one now. Sara weaved several handsigns, and the creature started to glow, brighter and brighter. The creature would start to feel a burning sensation, and it would slowly become more pronounced as the radiation Sara had cast upon it crept into it's body, burning muscle, other tissues, and even bones. This was a skill she was actually quite adept in, almost to the point of mastered in. The radiated chakra would penetrate the beast more so, causing it to possible burn to a higher degree and become more so irradiated by the chakra, debilitating it with another effect besides just the blindness. Hopefully the first effect combined with the second would allow an opening to be made for the twin goddesses.

Re: In Search of What Once Was [Jomei, Sara][Contract Search

It was looking bleak for the kami. The beast had the upper hand, multiple in fact, and the women couldn't avoid both the beast and its many appendages. Sara's words caused the kami to look back, and speak in unison. "Little one." They knew not what her first actions were, but they could see the beast falter as his teeth loosened on Ora's flesh. Ori lunged onto the back of the beast, sliding her icy fingers into the monster's maw. She pulled back on its upper teeth, and Ora slipped free. Her right hand punched the beast in the gut, knocking it back as Ori flipped forward to place herself beside her partner.

More gunk oozed from the creature, and it released a scream of fury. But the sound shifted, easing into a roar of pain. Its flesh burned, its inners seared. Sara could notice the women's shoulders perk up as steam rose from the boiling beast. They turned to face each other, their single red eyes meeting. Within them was hope. Together they moved, mirroring each other as their hands pulled back in preparation. They shot forward, grabbing the radiated monster by the shoulders and continued rushing past it. They slammed its body against the icy pillar in the back of the room. Steam quickly filled the area, and an intense sizzle drowned out all other sound. Sara's eyes cut through the fog, and the bodies of the kami burst with light.

A loud crack rang out, and the room became blinding. After a few moments, wetness reached Sara's ankles, warm and welcoming. Soon her eyes adjusted, and they witnessed an entirely different scene. Water coated the floor, and underneath its clear surface, the bones of the dead glowed faintly before dissolving into the lukewarm liquid. The white hands twitched in pain, the fingers contorting in unnatural ways. In the center of the room was the back of a woman Sara had not seen before. Her white robes appeared to melt into the water, as if they were one in the same. Her dark blue hair fell down to the small of her back, like a calm waterfall. She turned to face the small kunoichi, and gave a warm smile. "Thank you little one. I am whole once more."
Original%20of%202%20Kami_zpsmi17amz7.jpg

Her face grew stern before turning back to the horrific monster. "You will pay for every follower slain." She held up her hands, and the water bubbled in response. Tendrils wrapped around the white hands and squeezed them until there was nothing left. The beast screamed, still burning from Sara's jutsu and now from losing its many limbs. A whirlpool formed under the creature itself, and it began to sink below the water. It struggled, snapping at thin air in desperation. It shrieked once more, its hollow eye sockets falling on Sara one last time before being fully submerged. The water flashed black for a moment, before returning to its pristine color.

The woman turned to Sara and chuckled lightly. "For once, defying a god's orders resulted in a happy ending it seems." Despite the change in demeanor and appearance, the woman's voice was reminiscent of Ora and Ori's, though it held a warmth that was missing in the previous beings. She bowed her head lightly. "I am once again Ouraka, Kami of the Gentle Waves." She approached Sara, making no sound in spite of the water that still filled the room. "You have done me a great service, one that I will repay thusly." Ouraka held out her hand, and a yellow light flickered above her palm. A small roll of cloth formed from the light, appearing to be medical bandages. The kami tugged at one end, unraveling it and pulling it taut. A yellow ring formed on the bandage, and a glowing calligraphy brush rose out of it, floating in front of the kunoichi's face and dripping a golden yellow liquid from its bristles. "Yaku Sara, you have proven yourself a friend to the kami. Should you so choose, sign upon this contract and be blessed by my kin." She offered the taut cloth out to Sara.

Re: In Search of What Once Was [Jomei, Sara][Contract Search

Her attacks on the creature took effect. And for a bad pun, rather effectively. The creature lost sight of the twins, as it's gaze grew darkened from the genjutsu placed onto it. She couldn't be sure if it was from the confusion, or thinking there were no longer any enemies, and seemed to settle. The twins struck quickly in it's confusion. Their acrobatics and unison allowed them to regroup for another onslaught. This time, the creature wouldn't know what was coming for it. This time, combined with some help, the attacks the girls unleashed would have greater effect. This being imparted by Sara's second attack, one that worked on the body of the beast.

Time was earned, and focus was loss by the creature, and gained on her side. The twins would be unstopped by the next set of attacks, and the creature manhandled by them with greater ease. All three vanished at the back of the room, fogged by ice that melted upon contact with it. She could hear the creatures whales, and see what was happening after she caught up to the time, their attacks seeming that fast to her at the moment. Then again, blinded by a brilliant light that caused her to rub her eyes. A liquid splashed against her ankles as she struggled to see what was happening. She regained her sight to behold a new body in the room. She wore a dress, seemingly soft and flowing as water, in which it melted into that of which was the liquid on the floor. The ground luminous, and seeming to bring about content. She looked again for the twins and the beast. The new contender spoke to her then struck the stained ornament that was the only thing seeming malcontent in the room. The room as if swallowing the beast as it glanced at her, her genjutsu probably just being released from it.

A moment passsed, silence filling the room, she looked around for the twins having regained focus. "Wher.." The woman spoke, her voice similar to those of the girls. She bowed and introduced herself, heading straight for the girl, almost seeming to glide as the dressed waved below. She held out her hands, Sara unsure of how to, what to say. A orb appeared and it transformed into parchment. The parchment formed a ring upon it and a brush came out of it, floating before the girl. Sara looked at the majestic woman, and then at the brush as she spoke. Sara reached out slowly for it and grabbed hold, still silent. She placed the brush upon the paper and swirled it to the sign of her name. She looked back at the woman, awe struck, but finally managing some words, "I, happy to help. Thanks." She bowed to the angelic figure, for good measure.
