A few hours ago, Ziren was on a ship, as waves rolled against it. And now he was in a mountain range, covered from head to toe so nobody would be able to even recognize him. Part of why his attire was this, and also because it is cold. Not as cold as Water, but still cold.
He chose this path, mostly to lose someone if someone has tracked him. Going through the Spine of the World, with snow storms to get lost easily in, where tracks can get covered easily with how much snow is falling. Luckily, Ziren had also bought a mask, one that of the face of a shark, to cover his face, along with a scarf, and his hooded cloak. Cloak in which, its sleeves went way past both of his arms, as to also keep those hidden.
Ziren isn't taking any chances. He will take as much precautions as he possibly can. For all Leaf knows, he's been dead for two years. Went to Water to fight a threat to never return. He can just imagine what would happen if someone found out he was alive, the shock, the anger, the questions. Maybe it was best if they thought he was dead.
Granted, he was a well known man in Leaf. A Medical Chief. But the fact remains. His family is now in Cloud. His family has to come first, and for missing two years, two years of not seeing his children grow up...
He has to make it to Cloud.
