Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

In the corner of a back road in Kumogakure’s urban districts was a run down looking garage. Though it was heavily secured on the front, the rust and damp made it look like no one had been there for a very long time. It was the perfect place to set up shop and work on top secret puppet work without anyone really knowing about it.

Kazumi’s workshop had been built up inside for a few days now. Fitted with technology “kindly” donated from the sponsors he had in the medical department. If he were to be be their truly mechanised warrior, then they had to provide him some kind of equipment to work on his own puppets. Ever since they decided to give him his first puppet to play with he had been focusing so hard to making sure she was equipped for at least one on one fights. After all he had been working on making her a better combatant and focused on taking down them and their clones.

He also decided that it would be best to deck her out in some kind of gear to be able to attack their target with secondary hits if the first hit landed. Being able to augment this kind of ability was certainly going to help him with the combat that they were expecting him to do. He had to try it out on some training dolls to see if the second blast of water would launch upon hit of the first. And after a few attempts and readjustments he could see that the second attack would follow up after the first just fine. Perfect!

Smiling a little from the excitement of how blessed he was beginning to feel by losing his limbs, he began to wonder if the puppets he used could even work defending him as well.

”You know… if I can’t defend while wielding these puppets then what’s the point of using them?” he asked himself as he turned the puppet to face him. He would latch onto it with one arm to be able to move it, before firing some confetti at the puppet, to which he was able to make it dodge. His eyes lit up in excitement as he saw his new puppet move about without worry.

” Fantastic! This is going to be just fine with these puppets… being able to control the elements while wielding them is also something I didn’t know I would be able to do…” He looked at his puppet and wondered about the time it was forced to connect to his body. ”I wonder if she had any extra water powers besides the ones I could control then…”

He would place the puppet over his own form, feeling it cover over him completely as if he was the puppet itself. She was fairly slender, and constricted the parts of his own. Even his face felt like it was hers.

She was able to move just fine, and Kazumi could tell that she would be able to control the body a lot better this way.

” Now lets try using this weapon of mine,” she would say as she tried forming some water of her own from the palm of her hand. The mouth of the puppet would push to a smile as she could feel the reservoir of water chakra inside her well up to release a blast of water at the training dummy.

Kazumi pulled the puppet off of him soon after. He realised that he was having more fun pretending to be people rather than what his job was meant to be. He was meant to be infiltrating and therefore the drama training he was meant to go through was meant to keep him in character. His mind would have to stay strong to not lose focus on what he was doing the whole time.

”Okay that’s enough for now,” he nervously would say to himself while throwing the puppet to the side of him, and going to check on his own body. The augments body parts and the installed traps were taking sometime to adjust inside the cavities. He may have accidentally stuffed a few too many traps and augments inside of him, but he wanted to make sure that he would always be prepared with something in case there was a time in which a scenario he had planned (out of the many, many plans) were to come into fruition.

He would have to think about the way he expanded his arsenal, or work on making the firepower of his current arsenal even stronger. It would be his thought as he hung up the puppets and training utensils. He would lock them up safely inside pods to protect them from nature trying to take them away and break them down. He knew that they would be fine left out (as he was informed on that before), but he wanted to keep them fresh just in case.

Closing up shop in the workshop Kazumi would sigh. He would need to keep on working on his personalities to convince people that he was those characters. He, she, it, whatever didn’t matter to him as all he was was just this canvas for the village to use.

The shutter to the garage would shut behind him as he left, locking tight to keep people away from his work. Though the garage itself seemed like just a normal place, and rightly so, the high tech equipment given to him had to be guarded or else it would be charged to his already pitiful income.
