Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

The journey back was uneventful. He hadn't heard from any of his teammates, and wondered whether they were okay. Regardless, he continued with the mission. Dragging the limp and unconscious body of Sango, Takeyashi was careful to not hurt the woman anymore than she already had been. When she began to stir again, he would merely apply more poisons to her to prevent movement and resistance. It was the simplest means of keeping her pacified without injuring her, and it wouldn't have any long term problems. With his continually comatose prisoner in tow, the Spiderling would continue on back to the village. The mission was running more than ahead of schedule, so he wasn't in a huge hurry. He took his time traveling back to the village, reapplying the necessary toxins to his prisoner in order to keep her docile.

[ooc: Short post is short. Not much else to do, honestly.]

Feel free to get into Sand IC. You have to deal with her waking up and trying to convince her to go inside. She will be unconscious for a few hours. You will make it several miles away from the site before she arouses. You would be somewhere in the desert expanse by then. So figure out what you wanna do and post out there! Goal is to reach the Kazekage Tower with her.

Kageoni - Otogakure Grand Master - "Otokage"

The hour was late when the enigmatic man known as the Otokage arrived at the Palace of the Glorious Immortal. He'd received a missive from the desk of the Daimyo that had been short and unsatisfactorily detailed for his taste that his fiancee, Ishii Sango, had gone missing despite a heavy guard and resting within a locked room. He had not send word ahead of him that he was coming as he enjoyed the freedom of movement and thought that came without being followed by a trail of sycophants and small-minded gnats looking to curry favor with a powerful representative of a foreign country. Entry to the Palace had been simple enough -- he simply asked and they allowed. It was a talent of his. As he understood it, few had been in the young girl's room since her kidnapping and as Kageoni stepped into the room his eyes slowly drifted from object to object as he inspected them.

The man posted on guard outside the room had been Sango's older sibling Ishii Shouki whom Kageoni was already familiar with and detested. Shouki was a child who had been given a great gift and the only thing he could think of to do with it was amuse himself through petty means. He was undeniably a intelligent and creative mind but that made it all the more repulsive to the Otokage that Shouki wasted such talents on frivolous pursuits when he could be so much more than anyone else in his family. Letting his fingers drag against the cool wood of one of the opulent chairs in the room, Kageoni reflected on that for a moment. The room itself showed no obvious signs of struggle; no chairs thrown aside, no damage to the carpet or flooring.

"Come my children. Help me see." He whispered to the dark room, raising his hands with his palms towards the ceiling as a low buzzing noise filled the room. He could feel his skin crawl and shift as they emerged from his body and began to canvas the room as their senses filled his mind's eye and in an instant the room was more clear to him than it could have been to any other.

Blood on the bed. Only a faint amount; a flesh wound at best. She was wounded where ever she was but almost certainly still alive.

Tearing in the curtains. No obvious conclusion to be drawn from it.

Concentration of sand on the floor? That was curious.

Moving to where the fine pile of sand was on the floor, Kageoni knelt down and ran his fingertips through it. What was this doing here in the otherwise fastidiously clean room? Then finally his servants found the key to the puzzle. They reported to him a small hole in the wall only millimeters in size. If anyone else had searched the room they would almost certainly have missed such a small detail but Kageoni was a man of extraordinary talents, many of which were highly applicable to the sort of work he was doing now. Voluminous black robes shifting as he stood and he understood as he called his children back to him. Once more his skin crawled and writhed before returning to normal as he casually drifted to the place in the wall where the hole was and sure enough at the floor not far from where the hole was he discovered a small wooden peg which was the perfect size for such a task. Lifting the peg in front of his face, Kageoni inspected it as his mind digested the possibilities. Otogakure was a city of intrigue and such disappearances were not only common but regularly scheduled programming. Suspicious stand outs like a small pile of sand on the floor in an otherwise spotless room and the neglecting to clean up one's tools after an operation were mistakes that stood out easily to the eyes of a veteran of such a world.

If Sango had been abducted from a locked room under guard from a man like Shouki the kidnappers were of extraordinary skill... or possessing extraordinary talents. The mysterious sand and such an unusual tool which was not something one might describe in any way as ordinary and that left only a very slim amount of possibilities for the culprits... and one very obvious starting point.

"Sunagakure."
