Asuka sat down, cross legged at the top of one rooftop in the middle of the village, eyes closed. She had learned this trick from a teacher at the academy, inner training they called it. She remembered the first clash their had, Asuka was overwhelmed by the sheer strength he possessed, what could she had done differently? Firstly, she had to be more careful, believing she could take him was a bad move. She had to re-dirrect his blade to one side like she did afterwards, the difference in physical strength didn't mean defeat, it only meant she had to be smarter, faster than her opponent, in a test of strength the mind prevailed. If only she had figured that out sooner.
The next clash didn't go as bad, she had learned and figured out that being faster was the key to defeating her enemy, jumping from one wall to the next, it was smart but she realized she got predictable, she kept jumping to the same spots almost in a sequence without even realizing it, damn it.... she needed to pay a lot more attention to her sorroundings. She sighed opening her eyes, she still had a lot to learn.
