Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

It was a day off, more or less, so the young Kamiya did not dress in her ANBU attire, yet still dawned her own modified uniform of Sunagakure. Now that she had been accepted as an ANBU and acknowledged by both her peers and even the Sunakage, the young woman decided to gain as much experience as she could be taking on any mission that might be put out. For that, she found herself lacking quality weapons that one of her caliber might desire. Today was a day to remedy that as she walked with her long blonde hair tied behind her, towering over most others despite her young age and appearance.

People stopped gawking at her as they once did and had accepted her as one of them over the few years, it, it was hard for them to forget her appearance which was rather unique in all aspects, so it no longer seemed out of place. Being friendly with anyone and everyone that came her way would make it easy to win confidence of the people around her and hopefully they'd be willing to spill secrets surrounding Akkuma and his casino. Kidnap and torture could work too, but only if necessary. You attract more flies with honey, after all.

Entering a nearby shop, her crimson eyes, red as blood, scanned around to look at the blades, her headband around her deceptively delicate and slender neck as she was greeted by the shop owner and she greeted him back with a warm, pleasant smile as she started to peruse the man's merchandise. "Good morning, I was hoping to find a couple of strong daggers and kunai, if at all possible."

The Kazekage, despite being a native to Suna and desert dweller, was always dressed as though the temperature was cold. Today not only did he dawn a white button up shirt and blue vest, which were staples along with his black trousers in his closet, but he was also wearing a tan jacket and a scarf around his neck. Perhaps the lingering spirit of his sister kept his temperature cool, as they do say that ghosts can make a space feel colder.

Sipping on his iced coffee that was topped with a splash of cream, Shin would open the door to one of the only blacksmiths and weapon dealers that he trusted. Despite not being known as a swordsman, prefering his Genjutsu and his unarmed hand-to-hand style Phantosmia Taijutsu as taught to him by his mother, he did carry the blade that was passed to him from his sensei before her departure which was named Excalibur.

"Oh, hello Akari-chan, what brings you here today?"

The man that stood at only five feet and eight inches was considerably shorter than the Genin before him, but that never phased the Overseer. He was rather small compared to most of the natives in Sunagakure thanks to he demonic lineages that filled many of their family trees, such as the Toraono.

He had entered the shop after the young woman would have asked for assistance. Continuing on with his task, as though Akari was not there, Shin would extend his hand and summon forth his silver and blue blade known as Excalibur.

"Mako-san, Just the regular maintaence please. Don't want her to get rusty on me, Byakko-Sensei would have my head if she found out that her World Martial Art's winning blade was becoming dull."

Shin would chuckle, knowing full well that Akari was probably ignorant on the World Martial Art's Tournament that happened when he was a kid or even who the Byakko were. Outside of the Great Shinobi Clans it wasn't expected for others to know of the sub-branches that lied within them. If the laymen saw the fox eared Byakko within Sunagakure they would just assume they were from the Toraono Clan, which wasn't necessarily wrong.

After handing his blade off her looked back to Akari after realizing she was looking for Daggers and Kunai.

"Smaller weaponry? Are you looking for strength to deflect blows or strength to maintained a precise and strong strike?"

She took a moment to admire a selection that was presented to her by the shopkeeper though admittedly, there wasn't nearly as much time as she would have preferred speaking with the woman in charge for the day as she would have preferred as she seemed to be interrupted. For a second, it did come off as rude to the woman with the purest of white skin, to be passed over such as that, though her and she turned her crimson gaze to meet the man who had just arrived.

Much smaller than herself, by over half a foot it seemed, he was dressed in a very unseasonable manner which half made the blonde girl question his sanity. Furthermore, he addressed her by her name, something very few people dared to do, especially with such a familiar honorific. Many would assume her over 20 due to her height alone. The smile remained unwavering as she blinked a time or two before it registered in her mind as she dropped into a bow. "Kazekage-sama, I am very sorry to not have recognized you without your formal attire," she stated, trying to appear as sincere as possible before standing up straight again as he went to handle his own affairs.

In the mean time, the shadow wielder went about her own business, glancing at the daggers before being approached and addressed once more. "Perhaps a little of both, smaller blades are discreet, easy to conceal, perfect for precision strikes and have always helped me in....well, shall we say, specific matters in the past," the edges of her mouth being pulled ever so slightly upward at the statement. She had proven her aptitude for the ninja life, but almost no one truly knew her full connection to the village, even herself as it was kept a secret by her parents, even her true name. "And why mess with perfection, after all. How does the old saying go? 'If it ain't broke, don't fix it'?"
