Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

The next few seconds were not something that she expected at all. Regardless of the information she had just received, she still didn't expect any sort of outcome of besting the Titan. It felt like slow motion as her fist made contact with Rojo's body, having met him as he came at her. But, she must have overcompensated on her own strength, as she infused her own light energy to become a sort of leech as it removed Rojo's life and strength away, only to transfer part of it to her through the link. She felt a blast of strength absorb into herself, as she fell into a kneeling position, catching her breath, her wounds from when Rojo had thrown her healing up. She watched as Rojo fell to the ground, and lie there, twitching. For now he looked subdued enough for her to restrain him, to return him to Arcadia. She placed her hand on her knee, and raised herself to her feet, moving towards him slowly in case this was some kind of hoax.

After waiting a few seconds, he seemed to just lie there. What to do with him would have to wait. For the time being, she leaned down removed some chakra suppressant handcuffs from her person and latched them onto him. "That'll have to hold you for now." With her opponent downed, Megami remembered that there were 2 others that were also fighting the other brother. She turned around, looking for them. Her eyes landed on the cloaked figure from before, his hood fallen. So, the man that had saved her was the Kage. Surprising. But he seemed to be struggling. She found that odd. Not having checked out just yet, Megami ran towards him. He saved her life, only fair to return the favor.

She leapt towards Endo, thrusting her sword into the ground, and sent out a wave of energy, acting as a barrier, that would push the other brother back momentarily or block any incoming damage for the moment. Not wasting a moment, Megami dropped to the ground again, inspecting Endo's body to see if he was injured and assess what she could do. "Your energy's showing toxins in it's life stream. I'm going to try to cleanse it with electricity." After quickly relaying her actions, she would charge a small bit of controlled electrical energy into her fingertips, and would then try to administer the shocks into Endo's body, unless otherwise stopped. When finished, or if stopped, she would still reach out her hand to him to help him up. "Let's finish this." She was feeling the wear of the battle on her, but everyone knew she stubborn as a mule. She didn't give up until either the fight was over, or she was breathing her last breath. And today was not going to be that day.

OOC: Used Heavenly Sword on Azure, then proceeded with System Shock on Endo.

Darn poisons! The shock that Megami administered to Endo was as surely needed as the mental one that tugged at his conscious. He'd somewhat held back and for that it had nearly cost him possibly his life. Normally a foe like this would have been "child's play" to him but familial ties, even ones relatively obscure save for a common ancestry had allowed for him to pull the greatest punches that he could. A master of genjutsu and ninjutsu arts, the only place that he truly was average in was taijutsu and for that he had ways of compensating. This poision cloud should have been easy to avoid but even in his act defending his people he'd failed to play the role of a true judge on the battlefield. It was just as easy to point to a place on the map and consider someone else an enemy as it was harder to look at your supposed brothers and sisters and consider them anything but your greatest ally. Somewhere deep down inside, Endo felt guilty for the way the twins had turned out. In some small way he sympathized with their relative rebellious attitude towards what many Arcadians considered "top-worlders".

However, he was the Tsuchikage now, and any sort of injustice that even he as a half-breed felt had to be rooted out for the greater good of all under his protection. Coughing a bit bit of blackened blood, Endo climbed to his feet as he made peace with what he ultimately had to allow to happen. His eyes danced with emboldened fury as he blinked through the often time dazzling hyper realism that the mangekyou state afforded his vision. Attacking the barrier like a crazed animal behind bars, Azure slowly was beginning to crack through the defensive wall that Megami had set up for protecting herself and Endo. Never breaking eye contact with Azure at all, the second the wall shattered from the ferocity of Azure's attacks, Endo blinked before muttering
"Yes, let's . . ." For the barest of moments his eye's glazed over like one without mental clarity. In that second Azure's full stride was stopped as he buckled in mid stride like one who'd found their legs unable to move mid run. To a shinobi seconds seemed like minutes. To one gifted with the sharingan, seconds could last an eternity.

OOC: Endo was healed just in time to cast Tsukiyomi on Azure, leaving just enough of an opening for Megami to strike.

Shorts huffs left Megami as she stood by Endo, watching the other brother who was seemingly just as enraged as the other. To have so much anger, and hatred...what had caused such corruption in their soul? Was it their colossal power that brought about such a thing, or just a festering displeasure towards the people of the village? Megami had no idea what their problems were, and she didn't really need to know. This wasn't just brunch with the family, where you squabble endlessly about one thing or the other. This was just business, just a job. And some part of her felt sorry for these brothers, but she faced a goal that put far more purpose into this world than simply allowing the destruction they wanted to bring.

She looked to Endo, whom seemed to be doing better after that administered shock. He seemed to be just as determined as her. Giving a nod, she would notice him slip into a sort of daze. She was more adept in the ways of physical confrontation. As the barrier broke, Megami dashed forward, plucking her sword from the ground as if it were no more than sapling being stripped of it's roots. As the light encased it's entirety, she once again charged towards her enemy, coordinating herself in accordance to Endo's own actions. She drew her blade, lashing it up in an instant quick strike. Perhaps not as effective of her previous actions against Rojo, the move in itself should still be somewhat effective. After making her move Megami halted her movements. She was interested to see what the Kage would do, but more importantly, how she would coordinate herself with such actions. She wasn't an idiot, so she realized that when working with partners, synchronization was key.

Fleeting moments passed, and in the world created by his eyes, a most fragile and yet twistedly harsh world, he stood face to face with Rojo. Dressed in what one might call common Arcadian garb, the equal ground that they stood on left them almost seeming as more of friends than enemies. "They'll never trust you, you know. They never trusted any of us . . ." Starting off with a matter of fact statement, Endo quizzically turned his head as if trying to understand Azure but he knew all too well what the many was referring too. It was no small secret that even though Maru, Iwa and Arcadia all existed under the same law of the land, even though all three occupied relatively the same plot of land if but different levels of it; there was still the issue of ones race determining their status in life. Azure continued though. "We're just as native to this land as they are and simply due to what they deem the oddity of our skin tones, eye and hair colors, we are treated unfairly and far from equal. Even you, a Kage, the Tsuchikage cannot walk into the same elite circles of Maru without receiving downcast looks and yet you're half Maru yourself. So what if we live below the surface, so what if develop slightly different genetic gifts, why does that make us any different than what should be our brothers, above?" At this, Endo interjected, or rather he tried to. "You're thinking is outdated, Arcadians are not treated nearly as unfairly as they were before. You're simply holding onto the p . . ."

Azure cut off off mid word with a sharp outburst. "Perhaps you've spent too much time in the light of the sun brother, but you are blinded by your own prominence above. Do not forget how forbidden your parents love was. I never have, and we, Arcadians never will. If they shall look down on us as animals then let us show them just how dangerous the jungle can be. More will rise to do just as Rojo and I did, by showing those pompous Maruishi politicians who really controls the Earth. Our sacrifices were not in vain. I just pray that you see the world for what it really is, because it slips out from right underneath you." The whole time that he spoke, the entire time that he was ranting, Endo wanted to tell him to stop, wanted to tell him that he was wrong, and yet, he knew. He knew beyond a shadow of a doubt just how true the mans words were. Shaking his head though, he couldn't, wouldn't allow himself to spiral down that dark road of thoughts. He'd fought for equality all his life and he'd continue to bring up his nation, his people every last one of them, together on his own back if he had to. Stepping close to Azure, he embraced the man in a hug,

"Be released . . ." he muttered both within the Tsukiyomi world and outside of it. His words loudly uttered from his throat, Megami would see the tell tale signs of a summoning seal spreading outward from Endo's outstretched palms on the ground and closing in on both Azure and Rojo as a purifying white light began to quite literally drain the chakra like life away from them. Azure still somewhat showing signs of life choked out indiscernible words as well as gasp for air as his life force and indeed his very being faded away to nothingness. What remained afterwards were simply two floating white chakra forms of light brighter than the sun. In a strange way, they seemed to be drawn to the likes of Megami and Endo, the former Azures light to Endo and Rojo's to Megami. While the light was indeed blinding, what Endo saw were the two former brothers of the ill fated rebellion cloaked in a softer light, all smiles and becoming a part of something . . . brighter. While he'd never tried actually reverse-summoning to the world where he assumed those like his protective bats came from, it was quite literally a calculated guess to assume that he could send chakra beings to the other side as well. Had he created something or had he actually managed to gain a new ally in the process. Only time would tell.

OOC: Kami Contract awarded to Megami and myself. Basically turned Azure and Rojo into summons(?) because they were already chakra forms. Guess we can go ahead and wrap this up. Megami can sum up her experience with gaining the contract. Tried to be cool and add a little underlining story into it. Hopefully I'm not stoned for doing so. @_@

Everything seemed to just come to a stop after Megami had hit him. She looked between Azure and Endo, both seemed to be lost again. She didn't dabble in mind games, aside from maybe those of a verbal degree, but even then it was rare. She was all about handling anything that came her way directly. Face it head on. She stood, gripping her sword in hand, but it seemed to just draw a silence. Rojo was still unconscious some distance away in cuffs, and Endo was dealing with Azure. She stood, waiting for something she could do. She nearly jumped when Endo spoke next to her. Be released? From what? The mind trick? There was a seal placed upon the ground, and it took over the bodies of the brothers. They appeared to be...dying? Megami's foot braced back, clutching her sword fiercely, wondering what they were planning to do now, or if there was a bigger opponent at large.

A blinding light took over the scene and she shut her eyes from the intensity. Upon opening them, she saw Rojo and Azure, but they were spirits of sorts? Megami lowered her weapon, looking over the brothers. They were smiling now, but Megami couldn't say that she was. "Tch, I can't exactly arrest a spirit." She mumbled, placing her weapon back into it's holster on her back. She didn't know what Endo was planning to do, but they didn't look like they were going to be killing members of the village, so it was just up to a matter of rebuilding. "Thanks for the help. I'll be taking my leave." She turned to go, and began walking in the other area. She looked for Keita, but saw no signs of him. Perhaps he fled in the heat of the battle, but his efforts were helpful while it lasted. As she left, the spirit form of Rojo seemed to trail after Megami. She looked back at it, but said nothing. Then a voice echoed in her mind, it was soft, and feminine. A voice that sounded like the chiming of sparkling silver bells, wrapped in the warmth of the sun. "You are ready my warrior. You have earned a very special gift, a gift to call upon us for aid. Use it wisely." Megami paused, she had never heard this voice before, but she knew who it was. It had to be her, for no other could have a voice such as that. Megami turned back to look at Rojo, understanding this test she had been put through. "I understand. Thank you." Rojo had helped her, despite being her opponent. She needed to think more about this, discover what this new gift had in store for her. She had a feeling things were about to get interesting.
