Yukio stood by the entrance to the forest of death, it seemed like the best place available given those who would be involved moving to lean against a tree while he waited for those summoned to arrive hoping they would do so with haste. All of this had come about in the aftermath of the incident at the gates from the man's perspective things had to change and a hard lesson would more than likely be the best way to achieve that.

It had been some time since the Hyuuga had seen his Hokage outside of his office let along fought in the field beside him however given the instincts for combat the two possessed it seemed like he was the best option in the given situation all that was left was the question of how Soku and Asuka would face the task at hand. "I do hope they come prepared, safe to say this may be the hardest challenge they have ever faced." Chinatsu hovered in the air keeping a look out for the man while he rested in place lost in thought already planning out the engagement to come through his mind. Though he had sparred with Soku before the Sennin hoped that he had learned from her past experiences before this point.

Takeshi allowed himself to make his way from the Uchiha Mansion. Gone was the usual robes of the Hokage this path was never one to be spotted with the green hair, or even to be associated with the Hokage that much. Only a few in the village even where aware that this path of him even existed but that was the point of it, he wasn’t here to make a formal meeting as he allowed himself to walk into the forest. It seemed so long since he had last come here, though this time everything would be for a different cause it seemed, as he allowed his hand to extend to the gate and push it open hearing the creaking of metal as it moved out of the way for the Hokage.

Walking into the forest could be dangerous for anyone, that fact was well known for what lurked in the forest was not something that he could say he enjoyed but here he was making his way into the dark parts of the forest to the inner zone out of the way of everyone into the piece and quiet and away from the eyes. He was here with purpose and he knew that as he allowed himself to spot Yukio standing waiting for there arrival, a small grin escaped his lips for only a moment of time as he looked to his Son as it would be before approaching him in the forest.

“A strange place to meet, I presume that this all has a purpose now or this would make for a pointless moment in time, though I am sure I will find out, at least the sun is out and the weather is on our side, so I cannot complain with that much. Though the paper work I am doing now is a killer.”

She readjusted her vest for what seemed like the hundredth time before grabbing her sword staring at her reflection in the glint of her blade.The failure of your Captain.....She sheathed it exhaling loudly turning to face the doorway as she walked, her footsteps echoing loudly on the wood surface.The failure of your Captain.....A rough hand would seize her shoulder and Soku would turn to face her clan advisor, Nibachi."You'll be fine, you got this. Just keep focused on the task at hand and you'll be fine, I promise you."Easy for you to say but thanks."Shrugging off the hand, she made to leave again Nibachi watching frowning as the Captain left. The streets were a bit less crowded then usual, perhaps an ill omen of what was to occur.The failure of your Captain....""Cut it out.."She told herself firmly casting a glare at a passing merchant whom had the audacity to advertise some of his goods to her for an outrageous price. Her cloak hung around her shoulders flapping a bit in the gentle breeze as she made her way to the mass of trees that awaited her otherwise known as the Forest of Death and rightfully named so. She had many experiences in this terrain, none of them good. She let loose a cold smile at that. Today would be no different."Well ,l et's see what today hold in store for us, shall we?"The failure of your Captain.....That dissappointed tone kept resounding over and over in her head."I said..cut it out!"She spoke sharply to herself stopping a moment to gather her bearings. Exhaling and inhaling a few breaths, she nodded heading off deeper into the forest, the sounds of twigs cracking under her feet. The location was not far from here.

Soon enough, the heavy treeline broke to reveal two figures. She nodded at Yukio bowing her head slightly."Father."It was as if she was trying to seek some comfort in the word by addressing him as such. The thought was laughable at best. The other however, she frowned attempting to distinguish the features of the stranger. The mass of black hair and the red hat rendered him unrecgonizable. Nevertheless, she offered a slight bow in his direction as well. That was..until the realization hit her. The Hyuuga had said something about two..him..and Takeshi...wait..Takeshi! She suddenly glanced up at the man again her eyes widening."Takeshi-sama! Apologies!"She hurriedly bowed in his direction She had forgotten how the Hokage had the rare ability of all those paths.You're really losing it, Soku. Shut up.It didn't help she was having this internal battle with herself.The failure of your Captain.....Her Sharingan pupils began to dart around analyzing the area. It was good to get a read of the terrain. Might as well while she had the time.

 

[Uchiha Asuka]

Asuka streched as she woke up. Finally today was a free day from work. Well, free as in not so much paperwork to deal with. In that sense she still had stuff to do but it could wait. She waved her goodbyes to her Sensei and Kotori. Opening the door and closing it gently, slowly walking towards the spot she was supposed to be in. With a sigh she walked through the busy streets, to be honest she didn't know why she was being summoned but it didn't really matter at all. In the end, she had to come. With that thought, the smile reappeared on her face. Waving her hellos at people she knew, or just strangers in general.

It took a bit, but it wasn't long before she was in front of the gate that led into the forest of death. This place was creepy, the spot were she had her Chuunin exam, wasn't an easy exam at all. But she had passed it, a lot of stuff had happened since then but a new challenge was approaching or at least that was she thought. Who would hold a meeting in this place? Maybe to get away from prying eyes? Anyway, she kept walking coming into a clearing and seeing the three people she admired the most.

Firstly she walked over to her Big Sister and gave her a hug "It's so good to see you!" Asuka said letting go "Been way too long!" Then she looked over at Yukio and saluted him "Fellow Sennin, how's life treating ya!" Looking at the other man, she didn't immediately recognize him but after a few seconds her face lit up in surprise. "Takeshi!" She shouted out in alarm. "I see you got a new body to be in! How does that one feel?" She was genuinely curious if each body felt different of if they were all just the same.

Waiting for them all to arrive the Hyuuga took a moments pause to let them say their greetings before addressing the group as a whole, speaking in a rather serious tone given the topic at hand. "So I'm going to cut straight to the chase here, I called all of you to participate in a mock battle with a much greater focus on team based actions than any normal spar would have. This is why I have called you here lord fourth, given the events we saw at the gates I saw fit to summon both Asuka and Soku here to improve their combat abilities by learning from those who have a great deal of experience in the matter."

Moving to stand by Takeshi the man turned to face the two Kunoichi clenching his fist until the knuckles cracked his gaze piercing through them. "The say I saw it a challenge would teach you so much more than giving you two random Ninja as your opponents, mark my words this will not be an easy task but please try to make this interesting for us and show that your experiences were not all for nothing." Turning his head to Takeshi for a moment he gave the man a nod something he was certain his long time teacher and father would understand as Chinatsu sprung into life with a wide grin.

"I look forward to seeing what your are both capable off, show us you have earned those titles you carry so highly."

Takeshi allowed himself a few moments before things started, his finger came up in a split second as he allowed himself that click, it was all he needed a simple click of his fingers, before the wall of fire came up around him. He allowed the heat to hit him as he stood in the circle, he was well to know this Jutsu he himself had used it often, but right now was not the time to worry about that to much, instead he would have to come back to this at some point. Right now he needed to think on his feet, and he would do just that.

The black wall came up in front of him as his hands came together as he summoned the familiar friend, watching Ra appear with him in those few seconds, knowing full well that he had to make sure that he stood his ground, as he allowed himself a few minutes to think about the options of the fight. It was clear that this fight was just starting, but the key to fighting here would be quick and making sure that it worked fully. He had to strike and this time he would not hold back.

Asuka didn't waste any time, her Sharingan came to life and she went through hand seals. Clinching her teeth Asuka envolved Takeshi in a simple yet very effective Jutsu. This would hopefully get him out of the way. Then she concentrated on Yukio, throwing Jutsu after jutsu towards him. But nothing got through, and that wasn't the worst part. The cheeky man sourrounded himself and Takeshi in a sand storm... that.... that was the Jutsu Mikasa had used back then. So Yukio knew it too.... bad memories came flowing in, but this wasn't the time to get emotional.

Looking at her sister, Asuka gave a simple nod. This was all or nothing for both of them, they managed to slip past them this time but that wouldn't happen. Not anymore, she wasn't a kid anymore. A sigh escaped her lips as she tried to formulate her next plan.

Yukio looked at the two before him sighing slightly as his glaze moved to Takeshi for a split second tapping his foot against the ground slowly as if to be expecting something, as the wall of fire covered his Hokage Yukio shook his head slightly towards the two speaking in a rather monotone voice. "I expected a bit more we gave you plenty of time." With that the man stamped his foot against the ground the black blockade covering the two men as the Hyuuga stretched slightly being somewhat taunting to the Santaru and Uchiha Chinatsu perking up as the wall covered his face. "See you in a moment."

Now with an air of silence it was time to prepare forming a series of handseals as the sand covered his body a great wave of it surrounding him to conceal any further action swift hand signs burred behind the storm as the man waited for their next move Chinatsu swaying from side to side ready to make a move.

Soku let out a hum of disapproval as the jutsu rose to cover the two men, black and dark in all it's glory acting as a barrier for the Sennin and Hokage."Stop hiding and fight like true shinobi, why don't you?"She muttered more to herself than the foes wincing as nothing seemed to pierce the jutsu. She locked eyes with Asuka and simply gave her a wink."You know what to do."The Captain said thrusting her fingers out as a stream of lightning shot out towards the barrier jutsu. However, it seemed all was not as it seemed. Soku felt a brief moment of pain and shock and staggered backwards as her very own jutsu appeared to have targeted...her? The jutsu shimmered before her eyes and the blockade appeared elsewhere. Soku frowned and struck again with the same result. Just what exactly was going on here? Some sort of technique? A genjutsu, most likely. She sighed at that fact."Great, the one thing I dread. Time to adapt."Cracking her knuckles, it seemed Asuka had suffered the same result her fire style technique had rebounded on herself and that just riled up the Captain even more. She hated that, she hated seeing Asuka in pain. After all, she was her sister and would remain so. The three-tomoes of her eyes begin to swirl rapidly and soon, formed into the Mangekyo fashion."Time to dance."

[Uchiha Takeshi]

Takeshi allowed himself to draw on the inner strength, it was clear that this fight was going backwards and forward, buts the early start was always key to knowing how the rest of the fight would go from there. Even Takeshi knew that the start of the fight normally decided how that fight would end. As he watched Yukio beside him, the water splashing around the fire as the ring slowly decided to go down and drop. He stood there for a few seconds though the lust and adrenaline got to him as one of his moves slammed into the black blockade from his side.

“Well I think I got ahead of myself in that situation, lets try this again shall we and make sure that we get this job done, cannot have these two showing us up can we Yukio? After all what kind of Anbu Sennin would you be if you got beat.”

Takeshi allowed himself to once more click his fingers, the instant that the sound left the situation changed as the sound started to rip towards his enemies in that instant, for this was the trick with this path. Nothing would be as it was seen, and it would always be pushing those that he fought to their sense.

That was the trick here, what was real and what was just some form of detour to stop them from hitting their targets. The would have to figure that one out of themselves as this fight continued.

[Nanjirou Soku]

She silently cursed herself as she seemingly miscalculated her attacks again and her clones were quickly dispersed off. She eyed the two foes in front her Mangkeyo spinning rapidly as she came to the realization. Soku knew she never did this badly, she was a decent fighter but to miss her target by so much? It was almost unspeakable. She was casting jutsu like some mere Academy Student."Genjutsu...it has to be..."The Captain muttered to herself as her vision blurred once more before clearing and the two happened to be standing in a diffrent spot now as her jutsu missed yet again. It was getting quite annoying and Soku had enough. Taking one glance at Asuka, she simply nodded."Asuka, now! Thunderdome!"Lightning shot out from her hands forming into a sphere but the result was far from desired yet it was also a blessing in disguise. Soku's Thunderdome happened to entrap the ANBU Sennin as he attempted a strike against Asuka which was interuppted thanks to her jutsu though getting destroyed in the process. It seemed Asuka had succeeded as well...suceedded in casting the dome around herself which took the brunt of another attack from the Hokage.

She just breathed a prayer that they were still standing...before turning to see a attack headed her way. Too late to dodge...."Oh..come on.."Soku found herself launched backwards as the force of the jutsu propelled her and she merely grunted in pain getting up nodding to herself. It was clear this would not be as easy as needed. Her chakra was barely hanging on and she was frankly afraid their next move would be their last. Unlesss......I hate to be a coward here but it must be done.Quickly reaching into her bags and snapping on some gloves, she spoke to Asuka her eyes swiveling to land on Yukio and Takeshi, The maintained use of the Mangekyo was getting harder to make them out."Asuka..plan B. We are going to have to stall them...very...very...carefully."She said as her hands clamped together nodding to herself. The risk was great but it must be done.

As the barrier went up before the pair Yukio had to admit he was somewhat impressed, they had managed to keep themselves protected for a little while longer and made the man proud that he had decided to bring Soku into the ranks of the ANBU. "Well color me impressed I guess you have..." This praise was cut off almost imidiately in the aftermath his expression becoming filled with disappointment and disdain shaking his head as Chinatsu rose to his side with a sigh the man speaking in a somewhat somber tone as he addressed those who stood before him.

"I see, so at the end of the day you have given up. This chance you have given yourselves to recover gone to waste because the challenge became too hard, let me tell both of you I have been in many a spar where the odds were stacked against me. Battles that have seemed near impossible to win and I may have given up in some, stopped them all together and sought to improve myself in the aftermath but with you it seems you would rather trample all over the lessons we have tried to teach you and call for help."

His attacks against the barrier were not out of need to face his opponents now the slamming against the wall out of frustration and anger at what had just happened. "So what do you both plan to do when things get tough and there's no one around to help huh?! Is this how you want to be simply leaning on others rather than looking at the advantages you have worked to gain. In my eyes you have failed this exercise not only did you not take advantage of openings you have created but you spat on the spirit of a spar itself and buckled under the pressure." His slamming continued his veins rising under his skin a great roar leaving Chinatsu as the Hyuuga began to lose his cool the longer he thought about it.

"So what will you do huh, revel in this minor victory then sit back and let the newcomer do all the work. What will become of you after that I do wonder because let me tell you your predecessor had more to give and never took a step back even when things became hard." His teeth were clenched muscles tightening as his gaze turned to Takeshi. "Well it seems we have no choice now, Time to take things seriously shall we?"

This was not good,this was very not good. The Captain forced all out of her chakra into her palms panting heavily as the Blockade sprouted from the ground though her vison escaped her, it seemed the technique was successful as the wall shook as the strikes hit. She grinned looking at Asuka which was quickly replaced by a look of confusion yet questioning as the Uchiha's hand shot up towards her headset. Soku barely had time to react to that before an enraged reaction was heard from the other side of the barrier. Her head slowly turned as the voice carried across ripping into her motivation, the kunoichi winced a bit as the blockade threatened to buckle under the pressure. She had seen the Hyuuga displeased, even mad but this..this was something on a entirely different level. She knew whatever the duo were planning now, it was not going to be painless and it most certainly was not going to be easy."Asuka..just focus on what has already happened right now. We'll discuss the mechanics of the fight and all that later but right now, we have two very ticked off people on the other side of that barrier who could quite promptly end us swiftly if we miscalculate here."The Santaru said her voice serious as she slid her hands into some gloves coated with a sheet of metal nodding to herself as she exhaled slowly before speaking again."I do not intend to go down just yet and neither do you, I imagine so let us give them a proper reply, shall we?"

The roar of rage could be heard from the other side as a heavy strike slammed into the wall nearly breaking the blockade, it was holding but barely. It could go at any second.
