Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

On the first day she had come here to look for any information on the chakra laws and enrollments into the Academy she hadn’t been very lucky. Perhaps her not so stable mood back then had played a part in her lack of success in finding anything truly helpful. Today, however, had been different. Bits and pieces had been gathered in front of her in the form of scrolls and books. One of the librarians had been so kind to help her out with putting together the matter. There had been a curious glimmer to his eyes when she had questioned him about the topic - or rather thrown keywords at the man in hope that he would make the necessary connections. And, thankfully, he had. The silvery haired man had even gone as far as going through things together with the young Senju. They talked about the past described in some scrolls, then about the mutations taking place in a large part of the population, the odd disruption in chakra use that came with that, and the recruiting which had become more forceful over the years. So this was what Siu wanted her to read up on. It made sense. Pieces fell into place as Shizuka greedily absorbed as much information of the past as she could.

Taking her time to process some of the things she had got acquainted with, the girl spent most of her evening talking to her dad. He tried to explain to her to the best of his abilities why there was the need to do things in such a barbaric way. It was harsh and unfair, but it was meant to assure the Cloud’s existence and the advantages that came with it.

The survival and security of many against the discomfort of one. Was it fair?
She wasn’t sure, but it felt like a reasonable sacrifice. Of course that wouldn’t make it any easier on the one being thrown under the bus. Still, it was better than turn your back on your own people.

Unless they weren’t worthy, but who would decide that? The Cloud’s Council?

Shizuka bit her lip and set out to find Siu in the morning. So, with the sun barely up, she rolled out of bed too impatient to be tempted to sleep any longer. It took her a while to gather her clothes and wash her face, but once she was done she was out of the door to her parents’ surprise.

The only problem here was the fact that she had no clue where Siu actually lived. That’s why, lacking other options, Shizuka made her way to the Academy knowing that there would always be instructors around who would be willing to help. The last part turned out to be an understatement. Having never seen her instructor in basic Taijutsu being as excited before, Shizuka allowed her eyes to shine just a little when asking about Siu, the Genin.

“I’m glad to see you thinking about the future, Shizuka.” The man nodded while crossing his arms in front of his chest. “Good luck.”

She was glad to find out that the walk wouldn’t be long. In fact, she had walked past this place more than once before. Of course she hadn’t paid the house any attention because she hadn’t known that it belonged to Siu’s family. Aside from that, the two had only spoken a couple of times before the lunch occasion. Curiously studying the front she moved in to find the bell. That or knocking. Either would do.

“Hi, my name is Senju Shizuka, is Siu-san home?” Now, hopefully the girl was. They were still a bit away from the afternoon, so if she wasn’t on a mission then she wouldn’t be out, right? Well, unless she was an early bird. That would make getting a hold on her harder.
