K-Factor Auditions [Open; Event Notice*]

Plastered the billboard on the busiest street of Konoha, Yume's photograph pointed to the viewer with a cute determination. Some passersby paused to glance at the audition advertisement and move on. Others stopped a little longer to chatter excitedly to each other about the prospect of idolism. And there are those who didn't care at all.

Hiding around the corner of the alley between two buildings, Yume peered over to the billboard through her dark sunglasses. Her lips were turned up in a slight frown as she turned away to wonder. Her hand pressed against her chin in deep thought.

'Will people even come audition? We live in a shinobi village, after all… Would the other countries be interested either?'

She did need an opening act though… and some back up dancers. Well. It'll all work out! There's no point in pondering the negative what ifs, it'll work out in the end! Grinning behind her hand, she turned and disappeared into the back alleyway in direction to the entertainment building. Manager will take care of everything.

*Okay, it's not an event sanctioned by Council, so it'll take up a normal RP slot. It's just a fun little IC thing for those who wants a passport easy quick are bored/interested. Yume has left the thread, but feel free to congregate here and RP your reactions or whatever!

Shinobu breathed heavily in and out to gain control of his energized emotions. With an anticipatory shake of his hands he looked out onto the spotlight lit stage from the wings. The current participant in the auditions was doing a magic show with doves that was quite good even it if was kind of slow and bland. "You got this Shinobu, last act had as much personality as a cardboard box. Shine like a star and earn that passport! There is work to be done back in Earth country and you need to do some investigating in Sand. This passport would give you the cover you need to serve the village. Focus and show them your sweet sweet moves."

Walking out to the stage a production assistant with a clipboard and a apathetic attitude called out his name as he stepped into the spotlight. "Shinobu trying out for backup dancer" Blowing a bubble with her chewing gum the assistant slowly turned around and walked back to the wings of the stage. Looking like a red faced deer in the headlights Shinobu froze for a moment in the spotlight. His face seemed to spasm slightly as half his face smiled while the other seemed to grimace. Then the music started and he snapped out of his daze, with absolute confidence he began to perform the dance routine he practiced. His lips mumbled 'one two, twist, one two, jump' as he moved, at several points he got way out of tempo with the music and found himself hopping up from a half finished move to get back in rhythm. Straining his body he ended up slinging his shirt off near the end of the routine and just jumping up and down in thrasher style head bangs. As the music ended he was sweating profusely, red in the face and panting, mostly from nerves of the whole show. With a loud and boisterous voice he exclaimed "Hells yeah, Nailed it!" Exiting the stage he tried to highfive the sassy assistant who just rolled her eyes at him and went out to announce the next person.
