General Description:
- Personality: Complex, Ataeru is a child that were a psychologist to get his hands on him, they would probably have a field day - not that he'd ever really want that to happen as he tends to keep to himself - at least around adults. The boy is an independent child and not willing to be dependent on others any longer even if he has a damaged psyche.
Of course, Like all children, Ataeru has moments when he can be incredibly kind and gentle with the world, and can see the good in the world but that is not all that he is - and these moments are rare for him and to be cherished. In fact, it's rare for him to let go of everything and just be a normal child who smiles and laughs with abandon.
This leads to the fact that with all that he has gone through he is not remotely trusting of things, and at the current moment in time he does not have anyone that he would put his faith in. Not even those shinobi that are higher ranks than he, or those who give him orders. Sure, he'll follow them to the T - as he is fiercely loyal to his village. But, he has a tendency to take everything he sees or is told with a grain of salt, and this will likely continue as he grows older.
Ataeru is a fiercely sentimental child, probably originating from the fierce loyalty that he at one time shared for his family and the village. And while the loyalty is a good trait to have for the sake of the village, it has led to some questionable acts. Like wearing the finger bones of his parents and older sister because of his reluctance to leave them behind in the past. Sometimes, he can be found whispering to them when he's alone - telling them stories of what he's done. Or daydreaming of things in the past that were good. And his dreams almost always consist of things from his past - whether good, or horrific nightmares.
- Physical description: Ataeru's 4'6" body is one that reflects the life he's led so far, what body mass he has is muscle leaving him lithe and sinewy, though not to the point of looking unhealthy. He works hard to remain fit, and does his best to eat healthy like his parents taught him - but what kid doesn't like junkfood every once in awhile? As such, he weighs about 73 pounds at this current moment in time.
Young, Ataeru's face still has chubbiness in his cheeks that he has yet to grow out of. However, their are features that make him stand out among the crowd of regular- usually non-shinobi children, making him seem older than his young ten years. First are his blue eyes have a calculating nature to them. Then the red make-up that he paints on his face almost daily in the fashion of his Kaguya ancestors. The final piece that makes hims seem older are the scars that he's acquired over the years through his training. The scars that are most notable are three: One over his right eyebrow, another at his chin, and the third on his bicep. Of course, those aren't the only representations of his life as a shinobi because it's not uncommon for Ataeru to have various scrapes and bruises at all times from various adventures and training.
While Ataeru's natural hair color is white, he has gotten in the habit of dying it various different colors that either appeal to him, or dying it more natural colors so that he blends in with the people in his surroundings. Most recently, his favorite color to dye his hair is a strawberry blond with a slightly darker color for the shorter cut areas. The right side of his hair is left longer than any other, the top is cut choppy and swept up and back, while the left side is closely cut to the side of his head - although not shaved, and this part meets with the longer hair on the right side in the back of his head.
What Ataeru wears is fairly simple. His usual clothing consists of simple knee high shinobi styled boots, a skin tight blue black turtle neck shirt with a long sleeve for his left arm and no sleeve on his right arm, and green pants that are tucked into his boots. The only remotely unusual part of his attire are the red triangle earrings he wears in both earlobes, and the red twine that he wears around his neck, and wrapped around his right arm. On the red twine around his neck are three human finger bones clasped on the twine with golden hooks.
