Physical Description:The most noticeable yet unusual feature that Akuma possess are his crimson-colored eyes. The pupils are thin and vertical similar to that of a Dragon's, a trait that he inherited from his mother. Another unusual trait he has is his crimson red hair that is rather short and messy, bangs falling along his forehead. Genghis does not seem to care what style his hair is in as he will simply get out of bed and leave it exactly how it is. Underneath his eyes', Akuma has light creases which seemed to developed since he turned 4 for reasons that he does not know. Akuma stands at 5 feet and 2 inches, but since he slouches a good portion of the day it looks like he stands at 5 feet exactly.
Surprisingly when it comes to clothing, Akuma makes himself look a bit more presentable; his causal attire consist of a black, leather jacket with a fur collar; underneath the jacket is a white V-neck shirt. He also wears on a pair of black pants and black fingerless. Akuma wears jewelry pieces with his clothing, primarily silver as it adds a certain flare to his outfit. He has a silver ring that is on his left hand in his index finger. He also has a star shaped necklace that hangs down his shirt. He also has a piercing on the top part of his left ear.
Mental Description:
A slacker by nature, Akuma maintains a carefree, laid-back attitude about everything. When others are stressed out or in a panic, Akuma usually just mutters 'everything will work out' as a way of calming the situation and those around him. While normally calm, reserved and in control, Akuma can exhibit merciless conviction when in the presence of anyone whose beliefs challenge his, making him very dangerous once provoked. He also has a soft spot for females and can be quite emotional at times when dealing with them.
Despite being a laid-back person, Akuma loves adventure and the glorious art of combat, and is incapable of stepping back from a challenge no matter how dangerous or difficult it maybe. This part of his nature oftentimes causes him to avoid taking the easy way out of a situation. Despite having a great sense of caution, he will continue as his sense of caution only makes the situation more thrilling. He has been known to smile in the faces of both danger and death, even relishing the fight more when he is able to push his body to its limits. When it comes to actual combat, Akuma's confidence shine through, making smart-mouth comments and slightly arrogant exclaims.

Akuma does not know much about his birth because he is an orphan. The only thing he has to remember them by is a black star shaped necklace.
He could imagine a hundred different scenarios that could have made him an orphan. His parents dying on a mission, or his parents just plain didn't want him. Regardless of the outcome he was dropped on Child's Hope Orphanage. There he would meet his surrogate mother, Granny Yuki. Granny was a plump old woman, filled with love, compassion, and caring. She had been the Owner and Head mistress for the orphanage for seventy years; she had practically devoted her life to urchins like him. From the stories the other employees told him, Granny had inherited the Orphanage after her mother and grandmother previously owned it. Supposedly Yuki’s grandmother was an orphan, and had a tragic life. From what he remembers the story went that she grew up in a war torn village bordering a few of the great nations. That village was the battle site for all the rival villages. Of course, she was orphaned by the coming wars and had to fend for herself. She was soon picked up by a neighboring village and cared for until the family moved to Sunagakure. The rest is history. Growing up there he had all he could want, four square meals, a warm bed, a built in school. Granny was one of the adults he could remember caring for him through his life. At the age of elven he decided he would become a shinboi, and search all over the world for information about his parents.
