Ah, another day of missions! It was getting to him, this way of dealing with missions in plural per day, but his life as a shinobi was folding out now, so he didn’t bother it too much. He didn’t need to bother at all, since he was the ne who chose this lifestyle as it was written in his blood. The mighty Dōjutsu would guide the young Hyuuga through fire and water and everything in-between for as long as he would live…
… This was a new type of mission. Rather, it felt odd to have a shinobi’s help to now that the task was, drumrolls, cooking! Yes, a Kumo Fried Chicken store was going to hire him for a day of cooking at one of their chain boxes. Now, as a true Cloud Nin, he had obviously gotten to know their food - screw the place, the food was key - and he was more than eager to help them out… maybe he would even get a close look at their recipes. But first, he had to dress up for the job, so he quickly pulled off his headband and brought forth the cloth of a true cook! Now wearing a new, white headband with the word ‘Quality’ written in blue, a white apron-like something (in his perspective, it sure looked like a flat, squared apron), t-shirt underneath to protect him from the cold weather and eyes filled with determination passed down to him from countless spirits of ancient cooks in Kumo’s history. Yeah… he could imagine the entire scene unfold like that.
“We need a number 9!” he spoke back to the staff in the box as their first customer had stopped by, “With extra cheese, too!” He was beginning to sound like a real cook already, and it could appear as a very… well, scary thing in all honesty. The men behind sure worked their hands fast as the order was finished in a matter of a single minute. Honnou would reach out to it and then deliver the meal to the patient customer. “Here’s your order, sir..!” he declared with a sparkling smile, leaving the customer enjoyed with his number 9 in his hands. The man looked rather accustomed to their meals if Honnou had to be honest; especially since this person had a shirt on with the writings ‘KFC Fried Chicken’ lighting and showing to everyone around him.
As any other job, they met difficulties. Honnou had gotten stuck in the meat grinder twice now, trying to rip off as much chicken as possible for the customers. He called it ‘quality service’ but his mouth was full of bull and poo… anyway, he did have a fun day despite the title of mission. The chefs even let him out earlier as they felt like not needing his help anymore… and he couldn’t but smile in accomplishment. However, as he was making his way to the office for report, he suddenly remembered that his recipe-out-finding mission had passed his head by…
