Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Emptiness. That was the description you could probably give the apartment that Hajime had lived in for the past year or two. Since joining the diplomats team he had decided to move away from his parents and erase the last name just in case it led back to them. Bu the apartment he had lived in looked barely touched. None of the walls decorated with baubles or painted from the boring beige. Instead he was apathetic to the idea of changing it just in case he had to move once again. No point painting and repainting walls in temporary accommodation.

The rest of his apartment, spick and span, dust-free and his dishes collected on a dish rack to be used once more if needed be. It was like a slice of life show, where the protagonist’s home always looked like it hadn’t been used at all in the time they had lived there. Always so clean and tidy, unlike how most people would actually live their lives.

The young Chuunin would pick a book out of his neat and tidy shelf full of books he hadn’t gotten around to reading. Books on human psychology and other parts to do with human thought that he had lost the chance to read. He was able to find some time to learn more about how he should be handling future conversations with those from other countries.

The book was about case studies within the psychological world, how people tended to act and be around others, and how to clinically diagnose people. Not quite the study he wanted to go into… but maybe it would help with himself. Since he didn’t really feel anything… maybe he had psychopathic tendencies? If he could feel fear he would be a little shaken by that information, but since he couldn’t then it was just simply him staring at the face of the information in front of him.

The studies, however, were fairly interesting. He had learned about a woman who was only making friends to manipulate them, and even the husband she eventually married was all part of a calculated plan. Though not all people who were diagnosed with her kinds of psychological diagnoses ended up being killers, just wanting to use people to get the best they could get. Bankers, politicians, doctors… lots of high powered jobs. Maybe even diplomats? After all the manipulation of people was part of the way they had to work.

The book helped him begin to understand not all human psyche was the same, and while it didn’t really help him learn about how people felt like he thought psychologists were meant to ask you it did help him understand a little more about himself. He would have to learn more about how to actually feel again before he began to understand if he was one of those people from the books or just a special case… probably the latter, right?

The attaché would then go ahead and close the book, before leaving it back in the bookshelf in the exact spot. Leaving the apartment as clean and tidy as he could possibly make it was one of his goals. He didn’t want to seem like he lived here just in case something happened. It wasn’t paranoia he was feeling (not that he could feel that at the moment), but because he knew that being caught was probably a bad idea.

Hajime would think over the book that he had just reach, his eyes glazing over as he considered that without knowing what his feelings were like, besides being courageous. Unless he learned to feel like what other people then he wouldn’t truly know… so that was the goal. He would need to learn what other people felt to learn if he even had those feelings inside of him. If he could then it would prove at least something about him. Currently he knew all he could even feel was bravery and courage, but that surely wasn’t enough as anyone could probably mimic those kinds of things. No, he would have to find out these things… not weird right?

Hajime would snap out of his thoughts, before going back to the rest of his day though the book would plague his thoughts to no end.
