Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Mission Premise: A group of travailing caravans have requested the aid a mercenary, and recently due to the high risk of these types of missions, those willing to accept them are few and far in between. Rumor has it that one of the caravans within this group happen to be carrying a rare item, more specifically an odd rock shaped like a pyramid with ancient scriptures written on it. Sairasu has come to the aid of this group, but there's a twist. He was hired to gain their trust, find the rock, and slaughter them all for a third party. Apparently, not only will he have to deal with the people within this group of travailing caravan, but he will have to deal with a couple dozen other mercenary shinobi after this item as well.

A mission like this was one of those things that just happened. Being a shinobi wasn't always about assassination; it was also about deceit among other things. Unfortunately, it wasn't a very rough choice to make. Deep down inside, Sairasu saw this as a means of survival and easily agreed to take this mission. The people who hired him were a mysterious bunch, but he had already accomplished so much within this mission that it was hard for him to turn back now. As of this moment, he had been with this traveling caravan group for about an hour and a half. They had only gone a couple of miles out from where he originally joined them, but things seemed to going at an alarming speed. Along the way, he had already foiled a trap laid by an enemy and helped the caravan avoid being stuck in place. Whoever was trying to take this item from them weren't very skilled, but oh well. He didn't care rather or not, it would be an easy pay day for him.

Sucking it up, he waited until night fall. His plan was simple; while they slept, he’d slight their throats, take the item, and be on his marry little way. Unfortunately, this wasn’t going to happen with ease. The enemies were approaching from the west, and he could sense them. They weren’t stealthy in the least bit; well, at least not to a trained Shinobi of the hidden mist. Sitting on the roof top of one of the caravans, he waited and watched. ”There to the left, four straight ahead, and three to the right. A couple of them are under ground; I can’t tell how many though.” He thought to himself, as he clapped his hands together and formed hand seals. Corpses made of minerals began to rise from the ground, behind the caravan he was sitting upon. Ten of them had spawned, and were slowly taking positions to grab his enemies.

Waiting, he dipped his hand down into his side pouch and pulled fourth a hand full of tobacco leaves. Rolling it up within his palms, he tossed it into the back right side of his mouth and began to lightly chew, only before placing his dart mechanism into his mouth as well. This was going to get nasty. From that moment on, his hands suddenly came together again and hand seals began to fly, as the sky above them all began to pour with rain. Before another set of seals could be performed, he caught a glance of fire shimmering off metal from a kunai flying directly at his head. Dodging it, but flipping off the caravan, he landed on the ground and pointed directly ahead of him towards the four shinobi approaching directly in front of him.

His corpses took off, in an attempt to bind the four enemies. His focus shifted to the two groups attacking from the sides, as senbon and kunai came flying at him as well. Dodging them with ease, he flipped under one of the caravans and quickly out from under the other side. Coming face to face with one of them men, his palms became to emit an aura of wind as he channeled his chakra through his fist; suddenly, he slashed the air with chop and sent forward two slices of air. His Great wind scythe technique connected with two of them, slashing them directly across the chest in a brutal fit. Blood had already been spilt and there was no going back!

From there, he intercepted another one of his enemies attacks, twisted around his back side, put him in a head lock with one arm and knelt down, bending the man’s back over his should. Snapping the man’s neck, he doubled back to the other side of the camp as quickly as he could. His corpses were constantly regenerating and fighting the four upfront, while he focused on the other smaller group. This time, he stopped and formed hand seals; one powerful technique to take out all three of them was all it’d take. The three of them came at him with such force he thought impossible for them to accomplish, landing a direct hit with a blade into his forearm. Kicking the man back, the blade pulled from his arm as he backed up, against one of the caravan; it was at that moment he heard the scream of a child. It echoed throughout his mind! Kiyo! He thought, remembering the young child he loved so much. His curse seal burned and instantly activated, sending dark moon shapes down his entire body.

He had become enraged, and at the moment his legendary anger would take control. Putting aside Ninjutsu, he instantly acted and fought the three enemies in front of him unarmed. Leg sweeping one, kicking another in the balls, and grabbing the thirds arm only to twist it and place one foot on the man’s shoulder; he dislocated the man’s shoulder before jumping back and forming hand seals. Next came the most brutal technique he possessed; Whirling ripper! A large tornado formed around the three, and suddenly began to rip and shred them apart; the winds were so powerful, the cloth from the caravans began to blow back, exposing those who he had to protect. They could all see the mayhem going down, but their screams of fear were silent to him. The three man trapped within this technique had now fallen to the ground, bloodied and lifeless.

Looking at one of the children within the exposed caravan, he snapped out of his fit of rage and caught his focus. Turning to the four who were fighting his corpses, he witnessed as three were held down and the fourth continued to try and free his comrades. It was obvious he’d he would focus on first. Grabbing his sword, he charged force and slashed at the guy several times, only to have his blade blocked by the man’s very own sword. Clashing blades with him a couple times, he channeled the water element through his blade, jumped back, and slashed an A-Rank Ninjutsu at the four of them; a massive wave of water splashed out of the blade, rose from the ground, and washed away three of them. One man remained, and he was about to go. Sairasu held the blade pointed at him directly, supporting his wrist with his other arm. A spiraling drill of water burst from the blade, and pierced through the man three times; taking his life.

The first wave of enemies were now dead, and he had saved these people within this group of caravan. Spitting onto the ground, he canceled his maintained jutsu and the rain stopped. Glancing back at the people he was previously protecting, he nodded and put his blade back into its sheath. ”Make sure everyone's ready to move out; we need to get going as soon as possible. These guys weren't very strong, but I can almost guarantee they’re the first of many.”</B><i></i> He warned them and within the hour, they were on the road again.

For the next three days, waves of enemies came one after another. By the end of it, all the cloth on the caravans was shredded apart and covered in blood. Some of the people had lost their lives, but most of them still lived. During this time, Sairasu had to cut down and rip apart at least fifty would be thief’s and for the first time in days, everyone was able to rest and sleep. Taking advantage of this, he plotted his next move; he would rest and when recovered, he’d take the lives of those he had been protecting and steal the stone. Sleeping for now, he would dream of his the hidden mist and how beautiful the village was.

Unfortunately, this dream wouldn’t last very long; as he woke, a man was on top of him, seconds away from driving a short sword down into his throat. Reacting, he flipped the man off of him, grabbed the blade, and put it to his throat. ”Go on, kill me! That’s what you were hired to do anyway! You think we wouldn’t find out? We prepared for this!” Said the man, as Sairasu realized who this man was.

”What’s going on?”<i></i> He asked, only for the man to spit in his face. Slicing the man’s throat, he looked around and heard the commotion of people gathering around him. ”So they know. I guess it can’t be helped, it’s time for me to act.” He thought to himself, as he quickly pushed through the entrance to the caravan he was sleeping in. Looking at all the men and women gathered around him, with swords, shovels, and pots, he sighed. <B>"Forgive me." He stated, before unleashing his jutsu upon them. One by one, he began to cut them down. Slaughtering and murdering even children, he never once stopped to question his own actions. Within twenty minutes, he stood among their bloodied, lifeless, bodies.

Taking his time, he searched each caravan until he found the stone he was sent to recover, and headed straight to the man who had hired him. It was time for him to collect his pay.
